After driving all day and not finding anything else reasonably priced , like less than $250 a night we settled here. It was 11 o’clock and there was nothing else available. Rate was good and they are pet friendly for an extra $10. It’s by no means a snazzy place ; but the rooms were big and the bed slept great , ac was cold and it was clean . Basic , but it worked . Management was very nice and accommodating. Italian Restaurant next door if you get here early enough. We didn’t have any issues . Coffee in the morning with a couple other things .. Met our needs for the night .

My dad booked this motel for a concert at Bethel woods. I had read the reviews prior but we decided to take a chance and at least check it out. We told the man at the front office that we wanted to “inspect” the room, if it was unsatisfactory then we were leaving & wanted a full refund. The man said okay. OH MY GOD THIS ROOM WAS DISGUSTING!!! Being in there for only 3 mins tops, we saw two roaches run across the room. I ripped the sheets off of the bed to look for bedbugs but luckily didn’t find any. We were still disgusted with the roaches that we went back down & said we wanted a refund. The man quickly complied & gave us the refund. The place is truly scary. I’m sure it’s great for a horror movie setting but nothing more nothing less

There were cockroach's in the bathroom. Chairs held together with duck tape. Room smelled horrible of smoke. This place should be shut down by the health department. Please please please do yourself a favor and save your money. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They also respond to any negative comment saying they are under new ownership and renovating. That is a lie. If you look they've been saying that over a year and have changed nothing. I wouldn't let my dog stay there. Let alone my family

My recent stay at the Knight's Inn Liberty in Liberty, NY was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was not the hotel we had anticipated. The exterior looked like something out of a horror movie, raising concerns among my friends and me. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by a strong, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It permeated the entire lobby, making it difficult to breathe. The presence of mold was impossible to ignore; it seemed to be growing in every nook and cranny. This lack of cleanliness and maintenance was deeply unsettling. One of the most distressing aspects of our stay was the condition of the rooms. The beds appeared to be infested with bedbugs, leaving us scared and uncomfortable. The shower and towels were dirty, which further added to our dismay. It was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority at this establishment. To make matters worse, the hotel seemed to attract a crowd of drug-addicted individuals. Their presence was not only concerning but also made us feel unsafe during our stay. It was an unfortunate and distressing atmosphere that added to the overall negative experience. Amidst this nightmarish ordeal, the only silver lining was our visit to 17 West Brewery. The food was exceptional, and the service was truly outstanding. It provided us with a brief respite from the dreadful conditions at the Knight's Inn. It is worth mentioning that during our stay, we were told a disturbing story about the tragic death of a baby that had occurred in this hotel just a few months prior. While the accuracy of this claim cannot be confirmed, it only served to heighten our unease and made us even more eager to leave. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how disappointed I was with my stay at the Knight's Inn Liberty. The deplorable conditions, the pervasive smell of cigarettes, the presence of mold, and the overall lack of cleanliness created an incredibly unpleasant experience. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel and will personally request that Expedia and other hotel booking sites remove it from their listings.

The guy who checked us in was very friendly, clean, and dressed beautiful. However...the hotel is a nightmare..horrifying to say the least. First thing I always do when checking into a hotel is check for bedbugs. Sure enough there was a dead bed bug under mattress with a ton of powder on mattress and beneath. In bathroom was a dead cockroach. The room and bathroom were filthy. In window sill were used cotton swabs and not sure if it was filled with mold or what. Not a place for tourists or travelers! The hotel management need to decide if they want to keep collecting DSS money and have addicts and homeless there or not collect and turn it into a decent hotel. Very sad and shameful. We did not stay but got out of there!

This place was gross. It didn’t appear to bad in the room at first glance. Only one outlet worked. The beds where clean. The light switches looked like they had never been cleaned and Jerry rigged in the spaces black and brown marks all over the switch and switch covers. The bathroom was pretty gross only had like 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The fridge had black mold in it. The whole place smelled like an ashtray found ashes all around the window. Nothing had been dusted. Over all would not stay again. Only okay as an absolute last resort place to sleep.

Roach motel! Not worth $1.00 the whole place smells like cigarettes & rooms were not the cleanest! Lady at the front desk was very polite & totally understood the situation. I received a full refund & had to drive 2 hours away to find something better.

The 2nd most disgusting place I ever stayed, the whole place stunk to high hell. India ownership and the seem it’s ok not to clean the hotel. The Health department needs to look into these foreign owned companies.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs! This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had! We didn't stay at the hotel for a single second because it poses a direct health hazard! The whole room was crawling with bedbugs, both the bed and the carpet were full! As if this wasn't enough, there were also cockroaches crawling here and there. The room also stank cigarette smoke. When we informed the staff that we wanted the money back because it was not possible to stay at the hotel, they apologized and promised us that there was no problem. A couple of days later I got back from our booking site that the hotel had denied our refund request due to their policy. Not only was the hotel filthy and impossible to live in, the staff also lies to their guests. Do absolutely not stay here!!!

If I can give this place a -0 I would! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! THEY HAVE BED BUGS! First and foremost. I was traveling with family & pet taking a weekend trip to go hiking and sight seeing. Long like story short. When brought to the staff’s attention. We were scolded for waiting till the morning to say something and that I had a pet that “could have brought it in” so what’s the problem!? I was ASTONISHED! The audacity! I slept for maybe 5 hours before I was woken up by my cousin in panic and itching. I do not recommend spending a penny! The way it was handled was just insane. My husband had them take the entire mattress off the bed frame multiple. I ran and grabbed all my belongings and was OUT of that place!

This place is a top notch establishment where the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was even allowed to bring my dog, who also felt at home here at Knight’s Inn. They really care that you’re comfortable and happy. I’ve stayed at more expensive places that just can’t compare with the overall good vibes provided. Me and my buddy boy slept like logs and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning. Just ask Eddie, the manager, and he’ll see that you’re well taken care of.

I sleep over the blanket. Breakfast, I just take coffee, Honestly not recommend 😕 Is your choice if you want booked on the place.

Non-refundable charge. Too expensive for the filth. Overwhelming cigarette odor in a hallway where all doors had "no smoking" signs. Some sort of little bug crawling on the bathroom wall. Hair, grass, and stains on the bedclothes. Chairs from the 1980s, which seem to have never been cleaned. To top it off--what are we all leery of?--carcasses of the tiny six-legged variety. $133+ for the five minutes spent looking for a clean surface. Attendant at desk insisted we show him our issues. We walked out, but hey, apparently there would have been a complimentary breakfast. I'll spend the rest of my life not wondering about the bagel I missed out on. One positive, they had wifi in the middle of a cell service desert. Was able to do a quick maps search to find the nearest rest stop to take advantage of before we carried on with the seven hours we had left to drive home.

went to Bethel Woods Performing Arts and reserved a room at Knights Inn. Friendly staff but room infested with bugs. Bugs in bathroom, and under comforter and in mattress. Took an hour on the phone with Priceline to cancel and get full refund. I drove home at midnight - tired and frustrated, but not staying in this unsanitary hotel. On Monday, I am filing a compliant with NY State Health Services - this hotel is not in any way ready to host anyone safely or comfortably. the worst hotel condition I seen and i’ve stayed in hotels worldwide THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!!!

Hotel is nearby to the grossinger's resort. Yes is a bit older place. I was told built in 1965. Rooms are spacious. Some vintage 60s. Rooms in the back are cleaner.

Omgggg where do I start. The stay here at Knights Inn was something out of a Freddy Kruger movie. The toilet seat had leftover poo on it. The toilet bowl itself was FILTHY. The hair dryer looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in YEARS. Let’s not talk about the rusty patches in the bathtub and holes in the walls. The stains on the carpet, gave me “I have been cleaned in years” kinda vibe. The tv was leaning against the wall (so the wall was holding up the tv) which didn’t even work. They went to get another tv which worked but had no signal and no one who worked there knew the access code, so really it still didn’t work. I couldn’t sleep at all due to when I was checking in, a couple was leaving (this was around midnight) stating they saw bedbugs and roaches in their room, and any hotels around were booked. I’d give the “motel” a 0 if I could. I woke up super itchy. To think these rooms are 140 buck is an understatement. More like free. It should be shut down. I’ll also be contacting the health department. I’m almost certain it’s unsanitary for any human or animal to stay there. If you see this place Knights Inn in Liberty run far far away!

Awful place. Dirty and expensive. Nothing works lots of fighting and cops here a lot. Free breakfast is old frozen waffles and milk coffee.

Worst place to stay at. they look as if it was never swept or vacuumed, ROACHES galore, and the Bed bugs were overwhelming, my pastor's wife had to go to the E.R the next day, due to the bed bug problem. I wish someone would report this to the Health department of that city, bieng I don't live near and live so far. Read the reviews before booking a place like this.

The location is great, if you need a cheap place near Liberty. But the place is a dump. The rooms are dirty. Large, but dirty. The toilet and the tub were chipped. The stainless steel fixtures are rusty. The carpet is filthy.

The room smelled like smoke and mold. The bathrooms were old and run down and the water never got hot so I refused to shower. When we got there to check in the host gave us a hard time because it was showing up as a 2 different bookings under 2 different websites. He gave my wife an attitude and explained it was her fault for booking twice. My wife explained to him that she has never used that website in her life and it's impossible she booked through them, and he continued to blame her for it. We travel often and aren't the picky boogie type, but this was the first time I felt uncomfortable staying overnight at a place.

😠 We weren't able to get our room until 6:30 because it was supposedly being cleaned. However, our daughters opened the drawers and found a BAG OF SYRINGES in one of them. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
