A real farmstead experience with a perfect balance of rural atmosphere and exceptional upmarket food and service. The menu is simple but there is something for everyone. Looking for something small, how about a banana caramel pancake?

Fantastic, simply ecsquisite with great staff, great food and service in an exceptionally beautiful setting. Good gift shop but unfortunately prices are over the top for SA citizens.

Wonderful view with a pleasant atmosphere and palatable food. The water offer with the on the house sherry was an unexpected surprise. Service was a little bit slow but not to the extreme however. Overall experience made it worth the visit. Will see me again. Ps. A kids play area would make it ideal for families also.

The finer details and extra effort, does make a difference! The experience was spectacular, the deck and surrounding views are absolutely stunning, just off the road heading into the Golden Gate National Park. The service and hospitality of our waitor was infectious. Food was really good, tasty and portion sizes were generous. Eggs Benedict are amazingly good!

What a great place to have a meal. The food,service and atmosphere were all excellent. We will definitely come back.

I come here every time I visit Clarens. We were the only people there one morning and the staff were incredibly friendly and even lit the fire for us. The food and hot chocolate was amazing as always. But my favourite thing was meeting a dog named Suki, as this restaurant is now pet friendly. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Amazing experience. It's a must stop. The gift shop has stunning items . The owners and staff are really pleasant ☺️ And the cutest dog.
