One of the very few places you can actually pet an adult lion if you are willing to take the risk. Hospitality is 10 out 10 whether you are a day visitor or staying the huts.

Many people talked very good about this place, that there were many animals etc, but when arriving there recently , there was almost nothing and wasn't THAT exciting as people said it was in the past

It's a reasonably good place, can get crowded pretty fast on a good;sunny day, opens at 10:00 & closes at 17:00

Poor reception. Potentially great experience but we did not get a chance to embark on it. Guided tours are dependent on the mating cycle of the lions so it is advisable to call in advance to check. Only cash is accepted, no cards. R50 entrance, R200 guided tour. No restaurant on site, bring own food.

I've had a few unexpected adventures here, one being when I dropped off my gran to get a haircut and while waiting for her ventured into the backyard... Attie graciously took me into the lion's den and even snapped a few pictures for me. Important note: When you do go in with the lions, try not to wear sandles or have anything leather. 😅 I went back with family another time and felt a lot more brave. It's a great experience, there are so many different animals to see and interact with.

Great venue to take family for a day outing. See all the animals close by. Great setup for a braai or picnic with family or friends.

Good place to hang out, it needs to have a booking limit as it gets over crowded, swimming pools must be maintained. Wild animals are great in the place and the recent addition of adding the sound system is a good thing where people can just come with their music.

Maintenance isn't up to standard anymore, otherwise it is an awesome place that needs to be well taken care of

I enjoyed myself, it was a chilled Sunday with a company of friends... Even though it was not packed, it was a nice outing.

Great place to chill and relax.. During peak periods it gets packed and chaotic.

This place is the best managed place for families and to celebrate birthdays. Attie and his crew are top notch.
