I would of given zero stars if I could. Two stars are for the staff. Very nice. Food was AWFUL. I don’t know if it was an off day but the breakfast wasn’t fresh. No flavor and coffee tasted salty and old! Portions were average. Prices average. We ordered eggs, sausage, hash browns, gravy, pancakes and toast. Just awful. Didn’t seem like fresh ingredients. Toast was so over toasted and dry. I don’t complain easily but I couldn’t get over how bad/tasteless the breakfast was. Pancakes were doughy with no flavor the sausage seems underdone and old and the gravy was floury tasteless and real thick.

This was an amazing throwback to the diner experience with quality food and amazing hospitality. The unique menu offers something for everybody and I can say that my friends and I truly found some unique choices. Definitely recommend this as an “off the beaten path” food establishment.

First time here for lunch. Had blt,onion rings, potatoe soup, wife had Denver omelet, all were good. Soup came with a soup spoon-nice. Experience was enhanced with a friendly & kind server-Ashley. These days kind of a rare thing. I'd give her a merit raise because her attitude was excellent. Clean table nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping here to eat.

We will be back. Wonderful little place. Service was perfect. The food was amazing. The cinnamon French toast is SO flavorful, no syrup or fruit is even needed! The meat lovers skillet was packed full of meat and eggs.

It was a very busy Sunday lunch time but worth the wait. As I waited I got to see a variety of food come out of the kitchen. All looked yummy and alot of food. I love that they serve soup with their sandwiches. And this is a big bowl of soup not no little cup. And the best surprise was the homemade bread. Delicious! I'll be back !

My wife had an omelette and I had a Mexican skillet. The Skillet could have used a little more spice. But all in all it was a very good experience. Our waitress was fantastic.

The burgers were great .. had the fried green beans as my side dish. Never had them before they were delicious. Only a southwest mayo sauce would have made them better. Wife had the chicken berger thingy. She didn't tell me how it was, just that the fries were good. $ 34 out the door plus tip

Lady who waited on us was nice but food at best was mediocre. 😪 The ice tea and water were interchangeable, my grilled chicken entree was tossed into the middle of a big plate with watery liquid it was fried in and salad very basic and it too looked 'tossed'....it was like there was no care or concern about how they put it together...so being fed like a dog, I obediently ate some of it but didn't finish. No flavor, still hungry. 🥺 Oh, and PS if you have to go to the bathroom...good luck...it's down a small hallway that the poor staff has to use and if you have to wait (and I did for 5 mins) you are in their way and you have nowhere to stand. 🙄

My family and I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time was very busy but the experience and food was great! Not a single issue. However, the second time we visited, the restaurant wasn’t very busy. In fact, less than half the dining area was full if that. Our waitress brought us the menu and asked what we would like to drink. We received our drinks and was asked if we were ready to order or if we needed more time. (Don’t ask for more time!) apparently, she felt we needed nearly 30 minutes to make a decision! We actually had to tell her on her way past us that we were ready to order. (Our faces should’ve suggested as much) We placed our order and noticed she wasn’t writing it down. I have worked in the restaurant business for many years to know, it doesn’t matter how good you think your memory is, mistakes happen. And one did. I ordered the chicken fried steak with two eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and dry toast. My girlfriend ordered a skillet and a kids meal for her daughter. It took forever for our food to arrive. Again, I have worked the restaurant business for many years, this was not a complicated order. They were not busy. It was to the point that I told my girlfriend ‘they have about 5 more minutes before we get up and leave!’ Our food arrived shortly afterwards and almost everything looked good except my bacon was missing and they buttered my toast. Aside from that, the kids meal looked way overcooked and unappetizing. My girlfriends daughter didn’t eat it. Instead we shared our food with her as we didn’t want to wait for what might’ve been another 30 minutes for a new order. Our waitress did go back and retrieve the bacon order she failed to add to my order. I didn’t mention the toast, I gave it to my girlfriends daughter instead. Not only was this whole experience time consuming, we also had to get the attention of a different waitress who was cleaning tables to refill our drinks as our waitress had time to stand at the register chatting with another employee from the back and apparently had no time for us. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the last time we would have to wait on our waitress. We also had to ask yet another waitress if she could please notify our waitress that we were done and ready to pay our bill and leave. Not that our table with empty cups and clean stacked dishes pushed to the side didn’t suggest that or anything. This was the first time in my entire life I didn’t leave a tip, and I’m not ashamed to say that. She didn’t deserve one. So to sum it all up. If the food wasn’t as good as it is, we would never step foot back in this establishment, PERIOD! We will be back in hopes that it was just an isolated experience. I hope restaurant owners read these reviews and strive to make changes where they are needed and understand that a bad server can and will cost them customers. I’m usually a very fair person so if this happens again then I’m sorry, we will not be back.

Food amazing. Service great. When they are busy, and that is almost always, the noise level makes it hard to hear across the table. Some sound dampeners would be great, but this is my favorite place for breakfast. Best pancakes, in my opinion.

This place is one of the best places in the QC area. Especially on the Illinois side. We come here so often I'm starting to think they know me by name. I recommend anything on the menu. Im working on trying everything they have to offer. The coffee is always great too.

In town visiting family. Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was so friendly, all were smiley, and my coffee cup never got below half empty. Definitely stop in if you’re in town. I know I will again!

Nice lil diner. Waitress was friendly, and attentive. Food very good. We had 3 different sandwiches all done as we wished and very tasty 😋. Will go again.

I love this place... And I will continue to come back just crisp up those hash browns a little bit better in the skillets.... Other than that the wait staff are wonderful and food always flavorful. Thank you for being so awesome.

Most places would roll their eyes at a large part with 3 kids. But when we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles and sincere kindness. We had come for my mothers birthday and everything was amazing. We had 2 servers and food was piping hot and delicious! They had patience while my 4 year old ordered her breakfast and were cautious with hot food being brought out. This was such a pleasant experience Thank you so much!! We be back

Not what I expect for a "Family Restaurant " Service was slow, food wasn't anything special, hashbrowns were soggy, had to get the waitress attention three times, that is when they was not socializing with each other. Took 15 min to get the check after she was told we were ready. Will not be back!

Nice little diner. I had the cinnamon french toast and it was delicious. They also have a neat machine that squeezes the juice from the oranges right before your eyes, super fresh and delicious highly recommend it.

Fantastic large portions. We got the Strawberry Lumberjack French toast combo ,the Biscuits and gravy benedict and coffee. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to visit again!

Anytime the breakfast food is served hot I'm happy. Just wish the young lady who waited on us came back to the table more often at least to give us the check. Clean. Friendly. Tasty.

The meal was hot, the waitress not so much. I got up to get help twice. The staff is friendly. I believe going to the table twice is okay, but at least be accessible to our needs. I did tip without a bill because we never got one, though our plates were empty and we were just sitting looking towards the register... the breakfast was hot and tasty.

Visiting for first time. Really great place with quality food. Staff very friendly and helpful!!

Food was amazing!!!!! Very friendly clean restaurant! Staff was super sweet and attentive! W/we are from Peoria, IL and we're passing through. If W/we lived closer I'd be back weekly!!! FYI. We all had the chicken avocado wrap, 2 Philly chs, and the Ryan burger.

Our server was really nice and food was out of the kitchen lightning fast. My husband had cheese omelette and pancakes. I had french toast, eggs and bacon.

Great wait staff so far Pretty good food, but the bread they use for french toast is skinny and weak, making the french toast garbage, so skip the french toast. Hash browns were decent, not excellent though. Overall I've had good experiences here with above average food. I haven't had any of their lunch menu though, just breakfasts, so please consider that I am giving a limited review for this place.

I am on a strict diet. The waitress was so helpful in helping me find suitable menu items. When my order arrived, it was exactly as I asked for it to be modified.
