High quality food with intense flavours. It's nice to see Drogheda getting alternative food options at this standard. The staff are really nice and accommodating. BYOB is an excellent addition. Can splash out more on the food options. Look forward to going back.

We went here recently for a family dinner. The decor was lovely and the restaurant was very clean. I'm a picky eater, my family are the opposite. The waitress was fantastic and talked me through the menu and helped me to select something that I would like. The service was fast and all of the waitresses were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The food was gorgeous and well presented. The desserts were lovely too.

Excellent food and reasonably priced ! Highly recommended if you are looking for Middle East food.

Absolutely gorgeous place for Lebanese food. The man who served us was very kind and open to giving recommendations to two people who had never tried the cuisine before. The food was stunning, exactly what we needed on a cold rainy evening. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend the lamb soup and tagine!

Lovely spot. Nice decor and very friendly waitress. They could be more inventive with their salads, eg, mixed leaves, mixed seeds, nuts, olives, and lots of colour. My healthy eating choice was very boring. However, my friends seemed to enjoy their choice from the menu a lot.

Amazing offer they have 2course for €15... We ordered Kabsa and Labanise kabab, Dawood basha and Spicy Prawns. Adequate quantity and taste.

Great food and very well decorated restaurant. The waitress was lovely. I chose 2 starters Orzo Soup and Lamb Samossa and they were fresh and tasty.

Hidden treasure in Drogheda. Lunch special is unbeatable. At those prices we were not expecting what we actually got - food was absolutely delicious and well presented. Can not fault a thing. Service was top class - waiter was attentive, friendly and professional. Already looking for an excuse to return!

Food was bland. Presentation was poor. My chicken was very undercooked as they forgot my order and, I assume, whipped it up in a hurry. Server was lovely but the place was covered in flies. Not their fault but made everything less pleasant.

i came today 27/07/23 for lunch with my niece's who were over from Holland, my son and my mam. Can honestly say we were all extremely impressed with the food and the service. My son who is an unbelievably picky eater loved it. My niece's who are both Vegetarian, loved their meal. We got the €15 deal and we all left stuffed, they definitely didn't scrimp on portions and quality. The server, blond lady (stupidly didn't get her name) was an absolute diamond, who couldn't do enough for us. She is an asset to the restaurant. We will definitely be back and will definitely be recommending Cedar Gate to everyone!!

Great food and good value lunch deal of two courses for 15 Euro. Friendly staff and served super quick. Super Baba Ganoush and a delicious main course of lamb meat balls in a delicately spiced sauce with fragrant rice and fresh salad. Would recommend

Really enjoyed our meal in Cedar Gate. The decor is lovely and it appears very clean. The only thing was the falafels and the Lebanese bread were a bit dry but other than that the food was delicious especially veggie samosas. The chicken shish was nice but quite plain , a chilli sauce would have been nice with it. Good selection for vegetarians. We will be back to try out more dishes .

One star is only missing for being slow in service ..otherwise, the food was delicious and tastes just like what is supposed to taste. The crew were super nice and friendly. Will come back soon sure !

This is one of the best restaurants in Drogheda. I cannot recommend it enough. I've eaten here 4 times and every time the food was stellar. Please, get the aubergine/eggplant meals. I didn't like eggplant before I had it here. This place needs to stay open because its amazing.
