Beautiful park, be prepared to pay $10 for the day to drive through. Beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, wonderful lake and dam. We truly enjoyed driving through and making a few stops along the way for pictures.

Beautiful place to escape the snowy, iced lakes in February. Wished I caught something. But captured some photos and took in fresh air.

Very clean shower house and bathrooms. The sites are not stacked on top of each other. We had an electric only site. The water pressure not so great at the main fresh water fill up in the Yucca Flats. But that's OK. I'm not complaining this place was beautiful. Dog friendly.

We visited this campground early in the summer of 2023 and had a great time. The site was a paved back-in and very leveled, so no leveling system needed (site #477). The campground was clean and very spacious. I was thrilled to see the amount of space between each campsite to allow some privacy. The campground had few trees with unobstructed views of the mountains, and sunset viewing was breathtakingly beautiful. The picnic table & fire pit were perfectly located off to the side & not too close to our trailer. The view of the lake wasn't great, but that didn't bother me. I could hear the boats & water jets throughout the day, but it wasn't disruptive. I didn't notice a playground for the kiddos, so I can't confirm if they have one. The restrooms were clean & didn't smell, and the grounds and dump stations were mowed & tidy. We will be back in the future, so 5 stars for me

I really really loved this beautiful view and the experience was great! I was in the moment and failed at taking photos! I will be back for better pictures but it’s so nice to be near water again!

Lake Pueblo is a great place to be. Anytime. Lots to do: fishing, swimming, sail boarding, playgrounds, camping, hiking , biking and much more! I enjoy flying my kites, and looking for frogs. My Granddaughter enjoys coming out here as well. The bathrooms are clean, showers avail also.

Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful. There is a $10 entrance fee to enter the park. Mix this with the fact that Pueblo is a very small town and you get a park that isn’t very crowded. The wildflowers were in full bloom during our hike and the succulent blooms were my favorite. I will be coming back to do some astrophotography down here as well as go swimming in the lake. It’s only a short 50 minute drive south from the Springs.

Great wide open area campgrounds. Good lake access. The water was very high this year but still a great time near the shore. We used some trails to walk down to the water. Dump station and water available. The showers were nice and clean also. Stars at night were incredible for viewing. Very hot in August typically in Pueblo fyi.

Not a lot to see or do unless you are doing something in the lake. Not a lot of trees or nature areas to walk through and enjoy. The waters edge was beautiful and it wasn't trashy like some of the areas in Colorado lately.

I’m so blessed to live near this incredible state park. It’s a photographer’s dream with its many moods, unique terrain and vegetation. The backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and high cliffs surrounding parts of this huge lake make it seem surreal. Miles of shore and just as many paved and unpaved trails to explore, two marinas, campgrounds, great fishing and so much more.

My friends took me here for the first time. It was superb on Father's day. We had a great time just soaking our feet in the water. Highly recommend for a nice chill day to get away. We seen lots of jet ski and boat's all day. While we where sitting in the water some people setup blow up khakis. That looked like fun so we might try next time.

I liked it. The amenities are great, there was powered where we were which came in handy for the blow up mattresses! There is very little natural shade however, which only pushes you into the refreshing water. Speaking of though, the natural shale layers of earth chip off in an arrowhead like shard and become very sharp and you should be very careful with dogs and bare feet!

Great place for camping, fishing, and boating. We stayed at the northern campground which was very clean with electrical inputs and an awning for the picnic table at my campsite. There are also free showers. I do recommend Pueblo Reservoir Northern Campgrounds and will come again.

Been there 3 times! I would say the best day to go there is weekdays if you don’t want to be in crowded. It’s always packed weekends where you can’t easily find a spot.

It's always so lovely to spend a day out at Lake Pueblo. I personally love to take my dog out to run around. Also, it's a good fishing spot if you don't want to go far from your home. The people around here are always very kind and warm-hearted. I'm so grateful to have this fun little spot to go on the weekends.

Area is great for swimming, the dirt roads to the south swim beach are a little rough so make sure you have a good vehicle. There is also other areas around the lake that are great for Paddle boarding and Kayaking too! Make sure to check out Reservoir Brewery after they have great beer and food!

A great place to explore. Incredible shore lines of prehistoric volcanic activity. We kayak but also can take a big boat.

One of the best State Parks you'll ever find. Boating, fishing, hiking, biking, camping, you name it; Lake Pueblo State Park has it all! Tons of quiet little places to park and just hang out and chill for a while. It's a great getaway!

Clean, smooth roads. Facilities kept up well. Beautiful views. Plenty of parking this time of year. Definitely make a quick stop at minimum, or bring the camper and some poles to get a full fishing trip in!

We drove here from n.e. Tennessee in our RV and are having a wonderful time. We are not fans of the high desert climate, and the lack of greenery, but it does grow on you. Spectacular vistas and some really nice and fairly easy hiking throughout the park. Bring a boat, bring a kayak, and enjoy this beautiful blue reservoir! Make reservations online for this great camground and experience some great days!

Beautiful recreation area! There are plenty of picnic, hiking, fishing, and camping spots. Easy access boat ramps. Restrooms are located all throughout the park. Park is kept clean. We really enjoy our time here.

👍👍 It's the best closest place to my home. Seen a deer, blueJay, rabbit and squirrels, makes me very happy. Painted there today. Again, I even went in a different season and get beautifully different things.....
