My boyfriend and I set up an appointment with VRAI's showroom on Melrose. Honestly, we were just starting our engagement ring research journey but my partner and I agreed that we didn't want any blood diamonds so we were open to lab-grown diamonds. Prior to our appointment, we received an email confirming our appointment a few days before along with directions to their location. Nice touch, since we needed the reminder. Parking was easy, we found some street parking off Melrose with a 1.5 hour meter paid. We went to our appointment and met with our Diamond Expert, Jocelyn C., who was an absolute joy to work with. She immediately gave us waters and pulled out some rings that my boyfriend and I liked. Jocelyn gave us a ton of insight into VRAI's philosophy, including the fact that VRAI creates sustainably created, lab made diamonds. What was even more impressive though was that she shared VRAI has zero mining and zero emissions based on the way they go about making the diamonds. This definitely helped my boyfriend and I feel good about working with VRAI, but on top of it, we loved the education on all the unique ways we can build our engagement ring. My boyfriend and I unanimously fell in love with a beautiful marquise diamond ring, and we stupidly assumed we could put a card down and walk out with the same showroom ring - we seriously loved it that much. Turns out every ring is uniquely made to order so my engagement ring will be only worn by me and not the coupled hundred thousand fingers that have touched these rings before me. Oh. Jocelyn patiently walked us through all our different ways to customize our ring, and we loved how thorough she was with explaining everything and showing us all the different settings, sizes and shapes that the ring can go. We also had a great time sharing our love story with Jocelyn and she was incredibly attentive and straight up fun. My boyfriend and I even got a chance to look at our various ring wedding band options and even settled on a wedding band for me. Quick, easy and we got it all done under 1.5 hours so we made it to our meter with plenty of time. Highly recommend Jocely and the VRAI team!

Camilla is just wonderful! So kind and friendly, not overly pushy. She listened to all my wants and helped give me direction when needed. Made me feel like I was still choosing everything myself, but helping me feel confident about each decision along the way. The show room is very modern and a little smaller than typical show room, but appointments are more intimate and they offer champagne which made it feel special- because it is a special occasion! I'm not going to write a long review, but with the "quality" this online site claims to give, is not the case for my ring purchase. A 6k+ ring should not be loose in its setting, that's very unacceptable, and the online support team doesn't seem to know the value of en engagement ring, because giving me the advice to not have my fiancé wear her ring is outrageous. I have no support to get it fixed for two months, unbelievable with how luxury these rings are supposed to be. I definitely wouldn't recommend any of my people to use this company or site. I'm definitely working with another jeweler to design the wedding band and maybe replace this low quality product that I paid for.

They require appointments to best assist every visit - specially during busy days like weekends , so plan ahead and schedule your visit. Camilla made the entire experience fun, easy and enjoyable, she is such a breath of fresh air! Knowledgeable, patient and friendly. She guided me with honesty, patience and kindness through the entire process. Specially appreciated her honesty in telling me what to focus on and what is not actually visible in a diamond. They had a lot of different designs and styles to choose from. Their diamond selection was large and very good quality. Queena was very helpful throughout the entire process. I had a lot of doubts and questions about engagement rings. She answered all my questions and provided me with all the information I needed to make the best decision. I was very happy with my purchase and it all worked out perfectly. I was able to afford a much higher quality diamond than I ever thought I could. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I wish I could give more stars because Elan was absolutely amazing. He helped me build my dream ring and was so patient, knowledgeable, and kind! The store and products were absolutely gorgeous. Queena was absolutely amazing! I visited to look at engagement rings and Queena immediately clicked into my vibe, my preferences, and was also entirely patient as I flip flopped between trying on all of the various rings multiple times. They do not keep all permutations of the possible jewelry options on-hand because so many pieces are entirely customizable, but Queena was able to help me envision the changes I wanted to make to the styles available. Surely this is the same across the board but the email I received from Queena after the visit was also very helpful as it provided the exact specs of each of the items I liked the most. This was a curated experience and we stayed within the time frame without feeling rushed whatsoever! Thank you so much!

I can't say enough good things about the process of getting support from VRAI Los Angeles. I had great support when getting an appointment and Hunter patiently guiding me through my choices on engagement rings and the appropriate education around the diamonds to understand what areas actually mattered to me. I found this place by searching online for a responsible and environmentally friendly jewelry place. What kept me in was that their website was very well done and easy to use. I was also able to setup an appointment online and spoke to Hunter virtually via webcam and he showed me how the engagement rings look. This really helped my decision by being able to see them and how big they look and the design, without having to go into any old jewelry shop and being pressured by salespeople. This is a great place to do business with.

I did the custom design process for an engagement ring with VRAI because I had a specific design in mind and none of their off-the-shelf settings matched what I wanted. I started the process in person at the LA showroom. One of the diamond experts Hunter was really knowledgeable and gave useful advice on what factors were most important while picking out a diamond. In general, throughout the process he was helpful, prompt, and communicative. I was on a tight timeline because I started my ring search too late in retrospect (~5 weeks before the proposal). Hunter said they'd try to do everything to get the ring in time but had made it clear up front there was no guarantee. Ultimately, the ring took a bit longer to design and make than expected, so it didn't make it in time. I ended up using a stand-in ring at the proposal and gave my fiancé the real ring later. My suggestion would be to give yourself at least 2 months for a custom design, especially if it's really important for you or your partner to have the real ring at the proposal. In my case, my fiancé really didn't care, and she loved the final ring, which was beautiful and exactly what I had asked for.

I'm very happy with my experience here. Jocelyn C. was kind enough to squeeze me in between appointments at the showroom a few weeks back. From my first appointment to when the ring was delivered, Jocelyn was with me at every step. She really made the process easy by answering my questions and sending pics of similar rings to what I was looking for prior to ordering. Her response time is unmatched and the ring ended up being perfect! The ring shipped on the day promised, and ended up arriving a day early. I couldn't have asked for it to go any better.
