A gorgeous place with lovely views of the Brindies out the back. Lots of gluten-free options to eat. Having a turmeric latte with almond milk was an unanticipated treat. Friendly and gentle service. Not the kind of café to duck in and grab a long black for the road, but rather a place to come with a friend, to relax &; chat over a brew, then have a walk in the garden before enjoyng the exhibitions by local & international artists in the homestead galleries.

A quiet little gem hidden away in Strathnairn with a small arts and crafts gallery worth checking out. Food are all vegetarian but are very good and well presented. We ordered a congee + and egg and haloumi roll and both were very well presented. It mainly lacked a bit of salt for flavouring but was still OK. The chai latte and turmeric latte were delicious and on a cold winter's day, you couldn't ask for any more. Regards @fooderarri

Ever since I first discovered Cafe Stepping Stone I've been looking for any reason to come back and visit this awesome cafe again 🙂 The menu is 100% vegetarian (which I love), the view outside is incredible and you're supporting a business who is supporting local migrant and refugee women (amazing) 💛 Would also highly recommend checking out the art, both in the gallery and outside the Cafe. Will definitely be back again, and again and again!

A lovely place, nice ambience, beautiful outdoor area. Lots of vegan options, we had the soup of the day and the mushroom toast, both were delicious. Also a tasty sweet potato chocolate brownie for dessert. Coffee is very good. Great service, friendly and helpful staff, highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

Great range of food with options for dietary requirements. Exceptionally good value. Staff were lovely. Lovely country-style cottage/ bush atmosphere. Popular. Only thing was the coffee was maybe a bit dark roast for me? It wasn’t terrible but just not the best coffee I’ve had in Canberra.

Everything about Stepping Stone is wonderful. The food is so delicious, drinks are great (especially the sticky infused chai), the staff are lovely and the setting is just beautiful. This is one of our fave breakfast spots in Canberra 💕

Delicious food, great service, reasonable price, lovely place to walk around and enjoy the gardens and artwork.

Excellent location, with beautiful view of nature. Our seat was in a very cozy spot. Good food menu with variety. Drinks were nice, and I liked my porridge, which could do with a bit more salt.

As a group of 8 cyclists we enjoyed morning tea on a cold Canberra morning. The service was great and the range of coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as fabulous cakes was superb. Loved the middle eastern flavours and the smiles of welcome from all working there.

Always enjoy Stepping Stones Cafe. I’m vegetarian so love the menu but even non vegetarians enjoy the food. The staff are friendly and attentive. The surroundings are pretty and we were able to catch up over a long lunch. Good coffee too which is essential.
