One receptionist named Fahmi was very rude and her behavior is quite unprofessional…. She should be kicked out as she is damaging the reputation of that health center… she behaves very racist to particular Bangladeshi Pakistani Indian people so indirectly discourages these particular people not to visit that center….

My mum has been coming here for years now. She's a regular patient at this practice however I've noticed that Dr Islam's attitude and arrogance has gotten to the stage where I can no longer keep my mouth shut. The way he has spoken to my mum on several occasions I really do not appreciate it. First of all it's not my mother's fault if her pharmacy or whoever it is keeps making mistakes with her medications. Dr Islam comes across as rude and condensing. My mum has complained to me that he has said some nasty things to her and I've now witnessed what she means. Being a doctor means you have a heart of compassion and kindness for those who are sick and need help not to be rude and condensing. It's time people have some manners and respect others. Absolutely appalling and I won't keep quiet about it. Everyone would stick up for their loved ones.

The doctor I saw at this place the day before yesterday, Dr Shirazul Islam, was without doubt the worst doctor I've ever visited in my life (I'm 65 years old). Although I had an appointment time of 3.30pm I had to wait about half an hour before I was seen to but that happens at many medical centres and doctor's surgeries. The area around my right shoulder was VERY sore but all this doctor did was ask me to lift my right arm then said I'll need an ultrasound. Fair enough. But he was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I work as a sub-contractor/courier and I was told by my operations manager that I'll need a medical certificate so I can claim time off work through a private accident fund all couriers from my company have to pay into. But this doctor Islam refused to give me one. I told him it's not WorkCover or worker's compensation it's just a private insurance fund that we all have to pay into every week but he still refused. I asked him if he could at least just type me a report to say that I'd visited this medical centre today with a very sore shoulder area and he still refused. Why? Who knows? All he did was print me a referral for an ultrasound but when I tried to make an appointment for it yesterday I was told by the woman at the pathology place I rang that there was insufficient information on the referral to be bulk billed for the ultrasound. So I had to see another doctor at another medical centre yesterday to get a decent referral and go through it all over again. What a complete waste of a day. This was my first visit to Punchbowl Family Health Care Medical Centre and will probably be my last. I don't know what any of the other doctors are like, and the place itself is OK, just don't see this doctor Islam.

I have always found Punchbowl Family Health Care staff to be polite, professional & efficient. The premises are always immaculate & the service provided is beyond 5/5 stars. Congrats to all, especially Krishna the Practice Manager who sets such a high standard!

Reception staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful, however the doctor was rude, unprofessional and condescending. Would not recommend, especially for any sensitive issues.

It is usually not too busy and usually don't need to wait too long. I've been coming here for quite a few years. The doctors here are good people. The new receptionist is really nice. It's also handy to shops, parking, Rashays.

Been going here for the longest time. Farmi (sorry if wrong spelling) is always there to greet with a smile. Always accommodating to all my questions and queries. Variety of services available to myself and the family. Doctors are also really good and understanding.

First visit to see Podiatrist Mariam & Chiropractor Bellal. Both were proficient. I was very impressed with their service & care. Will definitely recommend them to family & friends. Thank you
