The house is fantastic, the room was spacious, warm and comfortable and the views and surrounding countryside beautiful. Our host, Wendy served a delicious breakfast and dinner every day and was very welcoming, giving us great information about the local area and tips and guidance beyond anything available on maps and local guides. It was a great stay that we will look forward to doing again when we need our next getaway.

Location is country quiet and very picturesque and the drive an easy 3-4 hours from CBD Sydney. Wendy , the host , is an oracle of information and professional kindness. We really admired how Wendy awoke before her guests and mustered the kangaroos into the paddock so we could watch nature as we had a delicious breakfast . {Ok this may not be true- but there is so much wild life to just sit and enjoy} The food - breakfast and dinner were part of our deal. The food is a stand out - take this option and be sure you explain what you like and don't like before you go out there. If you are a foodie , you will enjoy Wendy's dishes. The accommodation is first class, the bed and bedding are very comfortable with a choice of pillows. There is also a shed apartment that is amazing value for people who don't care for the 5 star treatment . Self serve expresso coffee / tea. We stayed 3 nights and will return. Value for money - excellent if you like the finer things , but also appreciate you are in the country . Thank you . Gary and Madonna .

Rob and I were keen to visit the Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Wendy’s Belle Bois was a perfect base for this. She is a warm, informative and gracious host. The birdlife is indeed great but really, Capertee is the star. Amazing panoramas. The topography and geology prompted me to pronounce “better than The Blue Mountains!” Stunning vistas with no urban encroachment. We loved it.

Wendy’s Belle Bois is a six star experience: a brilliant host, fabulous food and wine, luxury accommodation and beautiful scenery in stunning Capertee Valley. Wendy is gold. She personifies hospitality. Wendy cooked the most delicious dinner and breakfasts, told us where to walk in the astonishing Wollemi and Capertee National Parks. Also she recommended a yum cha lunch at Rylstone which was excellent and then prepared a sumptuous grazing plate for dinner. Wendy catered for my coeliac, gluten free dietary needs, even making me an orange and almond cake. Our bedroom was pure luxury: organic cotton sheets, heated floors, a terrace with lovely views. The common areas have lovely art and books you want to curl up with in front of the fire. Belle Bois has great vistas with dozens of eastern grey kangaroos. Great, fast wifi too. We will definitely be back to Belle Bois with friends to have more time to explore this great area.

Host was extremely well informed of the local area and surrounding areas. They were also very kind and welcoming, and had a great sense of humour. Our stay was fantastic.

This was my second stay with Wendy and my Husband's first stay. He had heard me rave about Wendy herself as a Host and her beautiful French style cooking. Wendy's home is lovely and very comfortable. Her home is very welcoming and you don't feel like you are intruding, also with other guests staying there is plenty of room to accomodate everyone. Belle Bois is a great base to stay to explore the full Capertee Valley and be spoiled at the end of the day with wonderful cuisine and company. Wendy, you're going to get us again for a visit !!

A surprise gift from my wife, this weekend getaway was absolutely superb. From the immaculate home and guest room to the delicious dining and the company of Wendy and other guests. Wendy provides an experience which enables you to get active or relax. She knows everything that’s happening locally and recommended a memorable day of kayaking and walking as well as other experiences around Rylstone. We also enjoyed the local wildlife and wine tasting and Wendy’s fare and wine list is first class. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place. You can sit out on your own private veranda looking across the valley with a glass of wine you would think you were in your own Savannah. Our host Wendy catered for all our needs.

My parents in law had a delightful stay. My mother in law has special dietary needs and my father in law has some difficulty with mobility so sometimes being away from home can be challenging for them. Wendy made them feel super comfortable at took care of their special needs with ease making their stay the highlight of their holiday. They particularly enjoyed the evening drinks and dinner both commenting on the fabulous food and great company. Thank you Belle Bois for making them feel so special.

Wendy (host) was extremely attentive from booking to check out. I even had her secret granola recipe in my inbox when I got home. Wendy's place is just the breath of fresh air we needed. Perfectly located in the Capertee Valley; great hiking and nature at our doorstep but with all the creature comforts of a luxury home including Wendy's great breakfasts and dinners (must sign up for the dinner)! We look forward to returning soon.
