The food was brilliantly presented, tasted fantastic and was fresh, crispy where it should be with a lovely light batter. The food was cooked fresh and well cooked. Not over or under. I hadn't eaten all day so I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the food, it's was so well presented. The negatives... the majority of staff were unmasked, or not wearing a mask correctly, despite signage indicating to the contrary, a young staff member sifting crumb from a shelf or similar onto a crate on the floor in the customer area, and a pregnant staff member not being assisted to put drinking in the fridge so resorted to climbing in the fridge in the customer waiting area to reach where she needed to. Finally there was also a short dark hair across my fillets as I pulled it from the bag. But their serving sizes were perfect, the batter was incredible and tasty, not over or under seasoned, and the store was beautifully clean with no fishy smell or anything similar to this. I would definitely go back, and hope that the negatives, were one off instances on a busy day and a junior staff member still learning.

Yummy food.. the salmon and prawn were really fresh

Absolutely delicious and super fresh. Had the BBQ octopus and the grilled snapper fillet pack with the special rainbow trout fillet special. Wife and I loved it. Can't wait to return. A local gem, service was super friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this delightful fish and chip shop, and I must say it from the moment I stepped through the door I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome from the owner himself. Every bite was a testament to the freshness and quality of their ingredients and the fish was perfectly cooked, golden crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered, making it a great value for money. Whether you’re a local, or just passing through. Do yourself a favour and pay a visit, you won’t be disappointed !

I love going here to have nz snapper grilled 1minute each side, oysters. Prawns on skewers chips and my wife and grandchildren love the way they cook salmon well done Great service mild mannered and happy. 👌 👏🏿

Not sure if changed hands recently but we spent well over $80 on a family pack and extras chips (once we saw the large chips were very little), even though ordered extra octopus and crab claws, It was all such a small amount of everything. Chips were not nice, all other seafood was nice but so small in portions and sizes. We all were very hungry once finished and our kids are not big kids…quite disappointed

My wife loves grilled barramundi and chips from here. Had many places, but she reckons perfectly cooked here and proper in-house chips (as in not freezer box). One of the best, regularly buy from Seaworks.

Still my favourite place for feed of a variety of seafood fresh as and cooked to your taste, service is with a smile 😃

Been coming to this place for many years. Food always fresh. Shop used to be a double shop. Called in today for some takeaway with my wife. Waited 15 mins in the queue for service to order and walked out. Incompetent staff to take the orders. Previously the owner and his wife were running the show and it always ran well. Very disappointing. Will not be back.

Usually only give positive reviews, however ordered grilled fish (hoki) and seafood salad (no chips) for around $17.00. The salad was tiny and had 3 medium sized prawns in it - the rest was seafood extender. Disappointing given the cost. Will not be back.

Best fish and chips in the area! Staff are friendly and accommodating and the salmon pack is delicious! Salmon was cooked medium as requested, something alot of takeaway seafood restaurants aren't able to achieve!

Quality seafood that is freshly cooked while you wait. Home made fish patties that are a level above the mass produced ones you find elsewhere. The owner takes great pride in the quality of her seafood.

Seafood works is a seafood shop in a side street, just off Rocky Point Road. The shop is currently operating takeaway; both fresh and cooked options. The seafood restaurant would also be nice to dine in, the space filled with light and featuring a lovely blue maritime themed mural on the back wall. The front counter showcases their fresh seafood and a big menu for to peruse and make your order. Specialising in fried or grilled fish ’n’ chips and grilled seafood packages. We ordered the BBQ grilled platter with grilled fish, prawns, calamari, scallops, mussels and chips. We enjoyed this and felt it was a decent serving for the price.

Grilled salmon and salad for lunch. I liked how I was asked how I wanted it cooked. Also the location is nice and quiet and there is plenty of parking nearby.
