Dr. Contreras is great. He spends the time needed with his patients to make them feel comfortable and valued. The staff is very helpful, pleasant and caring.

I went for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The entire staff was so kind and thoughtful. The only suggestion I have is an actual person follow up phone call. Maybe because I’m nearly 70 and just needed a call instead of text. Can’t complain though they were great!

I haven’t had my procedure yet, and what contact I’ve had with the office staff at the clinic was fine. I have had a question, however about my cancer treatment and my upcoming procedure that I can’t seem to get answered. A couple of weeks ago, I called the main number & got, of course, some sort of call center. I left a query with the agent, who assured me it would be forwarded to the clinic. After waiting about a week without hearing back, I drove to Medical Drive to appear in person at the clinic to ask my question. I spoke with a young man (PA?) about my issue. It has now been several more days without an answer, so I tried calling again and simply could NOT get past the call center agents, who repeatedly misstated my question and insisted the doctor didn’t need to respond because it was just info for him. No, it was info about ME and the info was attached to a question nobody seems to hear. I need an answer and will commence advertising my situation publicly & up the clinic’s chain of command until someone listens.

I scheduled my colonoscopy and I was very appreciative of the professionalism and genuine care I received. From checking in to leaving every step went very well. The nurses and other team are wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you so much.

The staff is very friendly and thorough. I received a couple of phone calls to confirm I understood the prep instructions ( worst part of the whole process/ procedure and still wasn't that bad). I even called to double check and found out the medication instructions for the prep on the prescription and how I should actually be taking it were different. Once I arrived for the procedure, the staff members from the front desk to the doctor were all very friendly and pleasant. I was taken back on time and by the time I finished with answering the nurses questions, changing and getting my IV, the wait to go back for the procedure was about 15 minutes. The CRNA explained everything clearly because I had never being under sedation before. The physician introduced himself asked if I had any questions and concerns? I then went fast to sleep and woke 20 minutes later and couldn't tell anything had happened. I would recommend Waco Gastroenterology Center to anyone facing the dreaded colonoscopy.

So professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Rives and all the nurses and staff will put you at ease and handle your procedure effortlessly. Such skill and comfort is hard to find.

Dr. Christina Levings and her staff are the best, and when I say the best, I MEAN THE BEST! I was so nervous and afraid, alot of Doctors like to brush you off these days. Dr. Levings and her staff were so welcoming and explained step by step, and in latent terms. She goes above and beyond what she has to, in order to find out the problem. For that I am very grateful.

Dr had awesome bedside manners. Made me feel comfortable and safe! His staff was awesome as well!!

I had a wonderful experience while getting my procedure done here, everyone was so polite, made me feel like I was at home. I was able to have joyful moments with the workers there. I'd choose them everytime for appointments. Thanks for making things smooth flowing for me.

Overall, I was pleased with my experience. I do miss the practice of allowing my husband to come back to speak with the doctor face-to-face. I’ve been a patient there for many years and Dr. Carpenter was my doctor. I wish I knew a little bit more about my results and had an opportunity to ask more questions without being under anesthesia. I also appreciated when the office would call and speak to their patients after the procedure. I feel like it is a bit impersonal doing it just over text. For some people that might be adequate and preferred but for some of us we are used to hearing people’s voices or meeting face to face. These are just my thoughts. Thank you for your care.

Everyone was personable and friendly. They helped to keep things calm and easy for the procedure. Special thanks to nurse Hannah and Dr Christina. Procedure went great. Nice staff, professional and kind. But when I got a call from a Megan about the facility fee, she was rude, condescending and hung up on me because she couldn't tell me what it was for. Then when I got my results they said they were sending 2 prescriptions over the day before Thanksgiving. At 4 pm I go to try and pick them up and one (the most important) wasn't even sent! And their office closed early for Thanksgivng Holiday so I can't even try to get them to resend it and now have to wait 2 days before they open back up. The office staff is terrible in this place.

I was really nervous but the procedure was so smooth. I woke up and felt so fine! I’m thankful for my nurse who did everything to make sure I was comfortable! Big shout out to the anesthesiologist. I loved her sense of humor!

This was my first time and from start to finish, they made sure I wasn't nervous. Dr., nurses and receptionist were all 5 🌟!!!! The following day they called to check on me and 10 days later called with the results (good news) and I would recommend them!!

It was alright. For them to do what they had to do. I was scared. But to tell you the truth. I went in there, they took very good care of me. Staff was wonderful, nice and friendly. It was like an in and out thing. Didn't feel a thing and after the whole procedure, they were no after affects, no problems. It was like nothing. Had polyp they took it out in time. Thank You Jesus. If it was left in there longer, it was in the process of cancer. Thank y'all for everything. My visit there was wonderful. Thank y'all again.

My experience with Waco Gastroenterology started with polite, helpful, caring, professional staff and that experience continued throughout my entire appointment for a colonoscopy. The staff genuinely wanted to be there to make my experience a positive one. I felt I was being taken care of by competent individuals, the minute I walked in the front door to do my check-in, to when I returned to my car. My nurses before & after my procedure answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The anesthesiologist and tech in the procedure room were kind & made me feel comfortable and confident they would take good care of me. I would highly recommend Dr Ancha. He listens to me and includes me in my treatment decisions and I feel that he genuinely wants to take care of me to the best of his ability. I am a retired nurse and I would highly recommend using Waco Gastroenterology for your healthcare needs.

Dr and staff were kind and courteous. I felt at ease the moment I stepped into the pre-op room. They were very quick to get back to me with my results. No waiting and waiting and waiting… 10/10 would recommend.

Outstanding staff exists from the top down. Dr. Contreas is most caring and has surrounded himself with a staff of wonderful people who care completely about your positive result when you enter into unknown circumstances. They all go out of their way to put you at ease and guarantee your comfort.

I would recommend Waco Gastroenterology after having a colonoscopy performed there. I was a bit apprehensive since it was my first time to have one done. The nurse that readied me for the actual procedure was very good at calming her patients as she worked.. Once the patient preparation for the procedure.had been completed, the actual procedure and post- procedure went smoothly with no after effects from the anesthesia. I plan on having my next one performed there as well. Good work Waco Gastroenterology!

I really had a good experience considering the procedure I had to have done. Everyone there was super amazing! Sweet and kind but still very professional and I will definitely go here again.
