Steve and his staff love to create great food, and it shows. Had two burgers and a shake. All were excellent. These burgers are smash burgers (so not like Honest or P&B) and probably closest to a Shake Shack or a Bleeker (though not as greasy!). The shake (we got peanut) was really good too. They also have a fun street fighter arcade so the kids had a blast too :)

Probably the best burger I've every had. The quality of the food is fantastic. You can tell that the beef used is only the very best. Moist patties and full of flavour. The staff couldn't be more polite ans welcoming. Top quality service and the staff looked genuinely happy to work here. Would highly recommend!

I’ve always been fascinated with American smash burgers - I have never had such a gourmet smash burger until now! I ordered a double cheeseburger with Pastrami and it literally blew my mind! The milkshakes were on another level - how do I ever go back to normal milkshakes?? Steve inside was brilliant treated us like royalty. Chips and beef gravy were killer too. Top notch!!

Whatever you order you won’t be disappointed! Amazing quality burgers here and lots of options to choose from on the menu. Had a side of gravy which we had to take home because it was so large, also overall had good portions. The owner is very passionate about his business and it shows through the food. Definitely going to visit again!

Super hyped and did not live up to the review stars it has! We had to wait for the order for a very long time and for some reason all the other customers were served before us. Note that our order was not a special item or anything, it was an item present on their menu! After waiting for a long time, I decided to ask about how much time will be required, the lady who took the order said 2 minutes and then she started working on our order and then the order was fulfilled. Also, maybe it could be because the order was served very late but I didn't feel that the food was worth 4.9 stars. With this experience I would for sure not go again here and will say No sir!

First time at Please Sir Broadstairs as we live in Maidstone. But was very excited to finally try and we were not disappointed in the slightest with their mega juicy and tasty burgers. Fries were crispy, milkshake was perfect … it was just all prefect as my birthday treat

The best burger I’ve had for some time, Morgan was really helpful and on point with customer service point of view and David just did rest of the magic with the burger I had. I must salute you guys for making food with so much passion and the milkshake is cherry on top…. Thank you so much for the best meal guys.

As previous reviews have said, lovely staff and just amazing burgers. Amazing. Couldn't choose what to have but had the Limitless and would highly recommend, especially with 2 patties. And order the black garlic mayo!! Only negative was the music playing inside, that was pretty awful. Just avoid that by ordering takeaway, perfect solution. Would love to go again, if only I lived in Broadstairs/Whitstable.

Amazing burgers!!!!! I suppose it must be boring for the owners to read so many amazing reviews. So what can I say that's different: - The chips are great - Get the gravy for dipping chips or your burger - A large chips is plenty for two - You can sit in, in this branch, it's not big but probably seats about 18 if you don't mind getting personal Laura and Dave were awesome despite being busy.

My husband and I stopped here on a trip from London, because we are burger fans and this place gets such phenomenal reviews. It definitely didn’t disappoint! The service was so brilliant (David served us and was incredibly warm and helpful, recommending his faves!) and the food was absolutely delicious. We had Jade burger and limitless burger - both to die for - and Cajun fries. I would highly recommend this place - great American style burgers and lovely experience being there!

One of the BEST burgers I've ever eaten! I went for the Smash as I love classics and it didn't disappoint. Sometimes burgers can be a bit cold but this was freshly cooked in front of us and came out piping hot. The strawberry milkshake was delicious too - definitely worth ordering if you love thick shakes! The staff were fantastic the whole time, really friendly and welcoming - highly recommend!

Popped by this place when I saw the 4.9* reviews from almost 1000 reviewers. Sadly it didn’t live up to the hype, and as suspected we were asked to give a google review if we enjoyed the meal, hence the outstanding score here. Don’t get me wrong the food was decent, we went for the double smash burger to try the core offering and enjoyed it, but it came nowhere near the best burgers I’ve had in London (Bleecker topping that list). It came closest to a Five Guys burger, which I enjoy and would put a little ahead of this one. The cajun fries were very good though, about as good as you can hope for at a burger place, so were the star of the show, hence the 4* rating. If you want a decent burger and great fries this is a good independent spot, but just don’t get caught up in the rating hype, it’s not what it seems. EDIT: Thought I’d post a quick update as I can’t respond to the owners comment any other way. I appreciate that taste is subjective, and it seems the vast majority are massive fans of this place. I enjoyed the meal and will always respect an independent store looking to pursue excellence, which it’s clear the folks here do. I hope it continues to succeed and impress, and maybe one day I’ll return to try another burger, the chips were remarkable after all. I think my review is fair enough though, a shame that it touched a nerve. Everyone has an opinion, and I was asked to give one here so I have. The burger here was good and enjoyable but to my taste wasn’t remarkable, hence the 4*. I may have had too lofty expectations, or differing taste, but I feel I’ve been fair in my review. It’s totally fair to ask for reviews if I’ve enjoyed it, and equally fair for me to mention that was part of my experience. I could have spitefully given a low score to try to bring the 4.9 closer to my estimate, but that would be egotistical and unfair. I think my review struck a fair balance, and was less critical than the owners reply. Others may disagree. Either way if you’re into burgers and in the area you should check it out, but I probably won’t be making a special trip to go for round two.

Went to Please Sir! Yesterday for the first time. Wow! They are now my no.1 burger place. Had the smash burger, I always try the basic first as if they do that well then you know it's a good place. The flavours were fantastic and all just the right amount. Definitely going back!

The hype is justified! Ashamed to admit that tonight was my first time sampling Please Sir after constantly seeing mouthwatering pictures show up on my feed. The food really is as delicious as I’d heard, and cooked to perfection, I couldn’t fault it if I tried. That’s testimony to the cracking lads working there this evening, who I believe are called Keith and Morgan. You can tell they love their work because they were friendly, enthusiastic and kept me updated on how long the wait was etc. I’m glad I’ve finally popped by Please Sir cherry, and looking forward already to working my way through the other tempting treats on the menu. Keep up the great work; the whole process, experience and most importantly the meal, was phenomenal.

Lunch was amazing! It was our first smash burger and really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly. The only thing I’d say is make sure you take a coat if you dine in, as it was a little cold but the food was 100% worth it

Outstanding smash burger! Having been told about this place by a buddy it was with great excitement I drove 400 miles from Cornwall to get one! (I did have a job on in Deal to be fair) the lady in the shop told me I wouldn’t be disappointed and I wasn’t Well worth the trip and great value on the price. 100% satisfied

What a way to turn a Monday frown upside down! I had the Limitless, Cajun fries and black garlic mayo, choosing to double the love with an extra Pattie and glad I did. It deserves every accolade of being one of the top burger joints in the UK, making the best executed smash burger I’ve had across my London research. I was welcomed by the lovely Grace who was great conversation around good food and global cuisines, who served up a piping hot burger which stayed deliciously hot and constructed with love. The patties had that perfect meat juice crisped edges, whilst still juicy, flavoursome and layered with bacon, melty golden cheese, red onion jam and garlic aioli. The bun holds perfection together, allowing little slippage of contents to ensure a Godzilla worthy bite with ample sauce evidence of total happy devastation. The Cajun fries were crunchy, hot and seasoned to perfection. Black garlic Mayo is a winner, so don’t miss out on trying some of the sauces too! I will also say that hearing Steve the owner and Grace talk shifts and chatting to Grace afterwards, Steve evidently cares about his team, which comes through with a passion for what they do… excellent, beautifully indulgent food.I can’t wait to try more of the menu and share with other food lovers who know when they’ve tried a winner. Thank you guys for making my Monday… it’s hard not to want to come here any and all days of the week🙏✌️💚🌍
