First time in Mr. Lobo and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing Peruvian food. IT WAS FIRE!! If you like Peruvian food, you definitely cannot miss this New Restaurant with the latest super modern and really good prices. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. A wide variety of Signature Cocktails created by the owner himself, who will welcome you with a super homey atmosphere. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The Best Pisco Sour in London!

Amazing food, cocktails and service. My husband and I came for an anniversary dinner and it was the perfect location. We took a stroll up Upper Street and the menu of this new place caught our eye. The owners are so friendly and went out of their way with us. They have a great event / group space at the back. Would definitely recommend

Great food, a great atmosphere and The service was impeccable. The restaurant’s dim ambience seemed perfect for me which made the dining experience more relaxed. My friend and I stumbled across Mr Lobo yesterday. We were drawn in by the beautiful design, welcoming and elegant ambience. From the moment we walked in, the owners Miguel and Katia greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their authenticity and passion for food and bringing people together shone through in every way.The quality of the dishes served was exceptional. Each plate was meticulously designed, showcasing Miguel's culinary expertise. The chocolate mousse, which was an absolute winner and hands-down the best I've ever tasted.And the rump steak was a culinary masterpiece. The tenderness and succulence of the meat and the flavour combination were perfection.We were fortunate enough to be seated on the sofa seats at the front of the restaurant, with French doors that opened up to a view of the Town Hall. As we enjoyed our meal, we had the added pleasure of witnessing the festivities of wedding parties passing by, adding an extra touch of charm to our visit.Overall, my experience at this new restaurant was nothing short of amazing. From the friendly and genuine owners to the exceptional quality of the food and the beautiful setting, every aspect gets a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend paying a visit to what is now my new favourite restaurant.

Excellent Peruvian food, mainly traditional items but with the chef's own twist. The menu is well composed, the food is presented nicely, and service is very friendly. My favorite dish was their take on the causa. The ceviche was also very good, but it could have had a bit more salt. A lot of vegetarian and gluten free options as well. Looking forward to visiting again!

Wonderful place to get crafted cocktails and flavourful bites. The food menu is focused but you get a range of options from seafood to meats to veg dishes. If you are super hungry, you might end up spending a bit but the portions are really nice to share with drinks and have a social experience with friends and their staff (very friendly and engaging)

Beautiful restaurant, modern and fantastic music ,service is great always with a smile. The cocktails are creative and super delicious you can not have only one that’s for sure. The food shows creativity and quality the flavours transports you to Peru. 100% recommended

Wow! Where do I start. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. I was the first person to arrive out of my group and I was greeted with such a warm welcome by Miguel, katia and George, and theses guys are such beautiful people and so passionate about their work. The restaurant looked fantastic. The music that was playing was great and just as the right level and the lighting was perfect. You can tell that they take a lot of pride it their work to make their guests feel comfortable. Now the food, what can I say! It was incredible 👏 Perfect potion size and the flavours were to die for. First time trying Peruvian food, and it was amazing!!! Food was very delicious, everything was sublime. The service was great, a 10/10. Host and waiter were marvellous. Great little venue. Would 100% go back again.

Went with big group. Staff very friendly and accommodated us very well. Food was excellent, especially the raw fish. Cocktails were also great. The caucas was amazing, great desserts too. Very happy at the end of the night. Moderately priced, bit well worth it.

YOU NEED TO VISIT!! We found this amazing spot by chance! The experience was an absolute 10/10. Having recently visited Peru, the flavours in the dishes at Mr LoBo reminded me of being back in Peru tasting the amazing Peruvian flavours! The service was personal, caring and very attentive - something very very rare in London. Miguel and Katy - thank you for your hospitality. The interior and design is stunning. This gem is an absolute winner!! Can’t wait to go back to try the Ceviche and everything else on the menu!!

A new fantastic discovery on Upper Street 😊 Delicious Peruvian food and amazing cocktails. The service and the owner himself were incredibly lovely. We tried many things, everything was excellent: ceviche, salmon tiradito, lomo saltado, vegan (!) saltado, and of course the pisco sour! Although other cocktails were also amazing 🍸🍸 Thank you for a great evening, will definitely be coming back!

All I can say is this place is a must to visit if you’re in London! Amazing atmosphere and most importantly phenomenal Peruvian cuisine. The staff members where very committed to great service and made our evening super enjoyable while serving us with masterpiece dishes.

The delicious food brought back such beautiful memories of our times in Peru. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for what was to come. The menu showcased an array of authentic Peruvian dishes. We indulged with anticuchos skewers, chicharron pork belly, cochinita bite, ceviche mixto, and cassava fries. The flavours were vibrant and rich, each crafted with precision and passion. The standout dish for us was undoubtedly the pork belly. The dish's presentation was stunning, with a perfectly cooked pork crowed with fined chopped onions sided with beautiful spiralised sweet potatoes. With every bite, we felt transported over 6,000 miles back to Lima. Moreover, Katia made our dining experience truly special. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and gladly shared stories about the process of getting every one to perfection. All in all, this hidden gem in Islington is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable journey through the flavours of Peru. We left the restaurant with full hearts and satisfied palates.

The pisco sours here are very nice! Food was also very delicious and the staff were very chatty and welcoming… always happy to suggest new recommendations on food and drinks, we will definitely be back !

What a fantastic Peruvian restaurant with a twist. What they offer are elevated versions of classic dishes with details that will leave you in awe. The combination of familiar flavours with unique twists makes each dish a delightful surprise. Service at Mr LoBo is fabolous, and their cocktail selection, mostly based on pisco, is simply amazing. The drinks perfectly complement the flavours of the food and will elevate the overall dining experience. In summary, I cannot recommend Mr LoBo enough. I am happy to have found my go-to place for amazing Peruvian food and delicious cocktails in the heart of Highbury and Islington.
