We done the Medieval Trio activity and we had an excellent experience trying each one out. We were shown how to use the equipment safetly then after training we could choose what section to play on more. My family really enjoyed the archery and cross bow. It was a gorgeous day too which made our experience even better. We would like to come back and experience more activities. Thank you for a fantastic day.

Brilliant experience for an outdoor activity. Enjoyed escaping from life for a few hours. Phil our instructor is friendly, knowledgeable & great at teaching skills. It's a very personal experience which is better than the other places around as phil has a laugh & a chat with all involved & we all thoroughly enjoyed meeting & playing with the adorable fluff on legs (minnie) phils dog. She was ofcourse the star of the show ✨️

Price is fair Time spent on each activity is good Staff are friendly Outdoor Me and a group of mates decided to do the combo. Axe throwing, archery and crossbows. Reasonable price per person for 2.5hrs. Our booking was moved to obviously accommodate everyone into a larger group. Which if I'm honest didn't need to happen as it transpired it was a party of 8/9yr olds (x6) and then men in our 30s (x5). It would have been a better experience for us (the men) if this didn't happen, as the bulk of the session was focused on the younger audience (which is totally understandable) but detracted from our experience with guidance etc. That aside it was a great few hours and despite looking forward to the crossbows the most, it was my least favourite. Our guide Phil was very friendly (incl his new pup) and always happy to answer and questions or give some advice. I can't fault the experience bar trying to make it more business efficient by grouping bookings. A couple of additional notes that should be made; only compost toilets available - I've used them before and it's not an issue for me but some might be uncomfortable with it. Plan to eat before or after as there's no food available on site. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. But all in all I would recommend 👍

I had an absolutely wonderful time here on Thursday 7th September 2023,with My Sister and her family for an Afternoon of Archery,Crossbow and Axe Throwing. Our instructor was Phil Robinson,who I had an immediate spiritual connection to. He was brilliant in clearly explaining techniques,safety and how to improve,which meant that after a few miserable and failed attempts to hit the archery targets,I was able to go home,feeling proud that I had hit a Black,Blue,Red and Gold in one of My four arrow shoots. I was really enjoying myself and was drawing and releasing,rather than worrying about whether I was going through all of the steps correctly. I also managed to hit a Blue and Red with the Crossbow and even managed to get one or two Axe Angels to stick into the wood, most had bounced off or had fallen short. I really enjoyed though,having conversation away from activities with Phil,about the nature of Paganism,Shaman,Spirit Animals.Wicca and sharing anecdotes in relation to all of these. I really loved Mini,Phil’s female canine who enjoyed running around this beautiful and tranquil forest area. I wore Mediaeval Period Costume for this wonderful afternoon out. NAMASTE. Amazing fun with our instructor who made everyone feel included and gave the best advice for both people with experience in the group and total beginners. We laughed our way through the two and a half hours of axe throwing, crossbow shooting and archery. The area was easy to find and a gorgeous woodland. Would honestly reccomend to anyone and will most definitely be back!

Just had an absolutely fantastic day doing archery, axe throwing and firing crossbows. Absolutely brilliant fun and I won a trophy!! We went to Insight Activities near Tolpuddle. The guys there were brilliant. They gave really clear and thorough explanations of the techniques for each weapon, we had loads of goes on each so we actually managed to start mastering our shots, they told us about the history of archery and the various types of bows and they were a really good laugh. Such a great day out. I honestly can't recommend them enough! 😊 🏹

Had a great afternoon here. We had a private session for 6 of us, and had a go at archery, axe throwing and crossbow. Great instruction with a bit of fun from the instructor and felt very safe all the time. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Archery, axe throwing and crossbow. Set in a small wooded area. Would definitely recommend. Lots of fun. Friendly and knowledgeable host. If you are in a small / non 4x4 car then take it steady driving up the track to the parking area as its quite rutted.
