It it definitely the worst place I have ever been to. Not only the location of that hostel and the area area are terrible, but also the bunk beds make you feel like you enter a prison cell. The room was extremely dirty. Blood, hair as well as nails. I could not sleep at all. The breakfast was awful too. Burnt and cold toast. Service was very poor. It took a couple nights until we were finally able to change our room.

Small rooms and facilities. Did not like the security constantly roaming around waiting for groups to make noise so they can storm into your room and tell you to be quiet. I do understand that the hostel wants to keep the students and visitors safe and keep the neighborhood quiet and peaceful, but it's kind of a breach of privacy to barge in your room... I am also missing comfortable "chill" spots where you can sit around, talk, watch TV or eat. Do not recommend for families. Although it is a good distance away from the heart of London, and you can get to the heart of London in 30 minutes or less!

It has been the worst hostel I've ever been to... Full of dust, water from toilets, and really dirty everywhere... People don't take care of it at all. Reception service and its workers are so kind and helpful but there are no facilities such as a plate or a glass and the ones available are completely dirty, with no possibility to clean them normally due to lack of products for it. Also, somebody stole some food from my bags. Its nothing compared to pictures showed on the internet.

Basic hostel, rooms and the linen are clean beds are ok. There is a great green garden in the hostel. It is very reffreshing to sit outside. The location isn't so great, not much to see in the area. The staff are often rude and flegmatic, very much need an adjustment of attitude. Bathrooms, toiletts are not cleaned frequently. Because of the low price, many questionable faced person hang around at the common areas, quiet often drank. The negligence of the staff and obviously the lack of management. These things going without notice or at least no action of any were taking . They often blame their guest, why the guests are not reporting these problems. Which is ridiculous and proves my point about the attitude, arrogance and bad management.

The accommodation is really poor. The rooms are tiny. It"s not convenient, no place to put your things: not a single chair or a table. The showers are made so that all the water is on the floor, you can't even turn in the bathroom. The hostel is a labyrinth. In case you have a heavy bag be ready to move it upstairs, then downstairs and then again. Breakfasts are non eatable. Nobody cares that there should be enough food for everybody. Here they serve: bread, butter, jam, ham ,cheese. Sometimes, if you are lucky, they will bring you milk and there would be instant coffee in the machine. Although it is located within the east reach of the greenwich centre. And that is a big bonus

Okay for young adults, not children. Relaxed setting, however there are no locks on the doors which is a huge problem for personal safety and for safeguarding children. Needs to have locks on the doors and a cupboard/more storage space, especially if you are there for a week or longer. Fine for the price, just make sure to book in advance. Lovely grounds, however it was shut at 10pm which is not good for adults who want to sit outside and chat on a nice summer evening.

Good location only bonus & cleanliness. However review the dormitories before booking. Mixed dorms have alcoholics & drug addicts staying on a long term basis. Staff are aware of the situation but seem to turn a blind eye. When mentioned staff are rude & indifferent. Would not recommend for families or children.

Out of the 40+ hostels I've stayed at over the years, this is pretty close to the worst. Toilets resemble the one Ewan McGregor dives into in Trainspotting and are never cleaned despite overflowing with excrement, the mattress on my bed was ripped, and most of the other guests lacked anything resembling courtesy or manners (bursting in at 3am and turning lights on, hammering on doors etc.) Overall just a horrendous experience akin to living in a halfway house. Only positive is none of my property has been stolen (yet).

Had to wait over an hour to check in the receptionist was abrupt big queues and only one person on reception. Says is was only 900 metres from Station and had to walk about 10 minutes. Mixed toilets. Overcrowded people, smoking in toilets showers dirty. But building modern and decor nice.

Not a pleasent stay. Stayed in a group dorm, the rooms are tiny, there is no secure storage space and your climbing around the other guests in your dorm. The mattresses or what I call them gymnastic mats - hard and uncomfortable. The bunk beds are wobbly so any movements from sleeping to getting in and out is not nice. I tried the breakfasts for the first 2 days, worst thing I have ever tasted, you would also be lucky to get a hot drink if not enjoy the cloudy water which is advertised as orange or apple juice. - the evening meals were the same situation with both food and refreshments. Had to buy food for breakfast and for evening meal from the Sainsbury's about a 10 minute walk away from hostel. Like I said before there is NO secure storage space. I used the blankets provided to hide my food on the bed but to discover what I believe the cleaners to be taking my food and drink. Only noticed when I saw spillage and the stickiness of cartons that were suddenly opened and breakfast bars disappearing. Reported to reception without success. I had to stay in my dorm until a cleaner walked in and I told them not to clean the room - I did that during the entire duration of my stay.

The rooms are quite small and the beds quite short. It's so hot in. Toilets are enough clean but showers are too small, without space for the towel. Security is very very bad: the windows cannot be opened because of a piece of wood and to open doors you don't have keys, but only a card that doesn't work very well. Food is quite good but insufficient. I won't return.
