If you like local history it’s worth a visit . For military history this is a gem with original British uniforms shown back hundreds of years . Ticket prices are not extortionate either . Opening hours are limited though, so check the times

So much is packed in to this small and very friendly place, it's incredible, packed with original era items and superb diaplays. Big thanks to Mike Osterly who related his unique experiences with such effortless joy. They even had a folder on the Bethnal Green tube disaster.

I was there with my husband and lots of biker friends as we held a short service for the passing of Queen Elizabeth ll. The group that I was with was the Royal British Legions Riders Section and it was advertised as a Sunday ride and all bikers were welcome. There was a good turn out of bikes and riders and were very respectful in joining in our short service and the silence we observed for our late Queen. A pleasant time was had and riders went back home one by one after the service as they wanted.
