This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in London! The food here is always really fresh, and tastes so good (like home cooking). The staff members and the owner is also very nice, friendly and polite. Food are reasonably priced, but keeps going up - in line with inflation and the economic trends. This is to be expected - and its okay, so long as the food quality remains amazing! Highly recommend!

I've popped in here a few times for lunch in the afternoon, it's busy in a good way, the way that shows the food is good. Never had a problem getting a table for food. Lots of people are in during their lunch break. The Food is very good, you can pick up a rice box with veg 3 dumplings and a choice of 3 types of meat for £9 plus a %10 service charge. They do amazing Korean sweet chilli chicken wings 12 for £15, very nice

A very cute and satisfying Korean restaurant in Angel. The soy garlic fried chicken was delicious, the Korean bbq was so worth it and really cheap for the quality and amount (loved the galbi!), the rib soup was super yummy as well! We went there two nights in a row! The only one I wasn’t that big of a fan of was probably the bibimbap, it was good but I wished the beef had more flavour and my bottom was more crispy with the hot stone:) but overall still super good, I’d definitely recommend!

Such an amazing find in Angel - I’ve walked past here so many times and never gone in. Didn’t book but went at 6pm Saturday and they kindly were able to accommodate us. Nicest and friendliest staff. Amazing food - you just try

Such a great find! I love Korean food and decided to take a gamble on someplace new, and very glad that I did. The pan fried dumplings were divine, you could tell that they were fresh and homemade. And the kimchi had the perfect amount of heat. Excellent value for money and quick delivery. Can’t wait to order more from them!

This place is amazing! The service was great and the food was even better. Didn’t have a booking but was still able to get a seat without waiting long. I definitely enjoyed the food and will be back for more very soon.

Very tasty Korean Fried Chicken, I went for Gochu chilli & garlic version. My friend had the Yuk Gae Jang Beef soup with egg, vegetable & glass noodle for which he was similarly impressed with. Service was polite & efficient.

This is my favourite Korean restaurant in London by far. The food is delicious and they are using quality ingredients. All of the fried chicken is exceptional. Today I visited with my partner and had the barbeque set meal, which was fantastic. Really tasty and I highly recommend. The service is attentive and everyone is super friendly, which makes for a cosy atmosphere. Thank you :).

Ordered a delivery Food tried: - Yang Nyum Chicken - Bibimbap Beef Review: - The chicken was very well cooked and the sauce complemented it well. There were also 10 pieces so it was quite filling - The Bibimbap was pretty good although would have liked a little bit more sauce with it so that it doesn't end up dry. Overall decent portions, pricing is decent for the quantity and quality you get and flavourful dishes.

Tucked away along chapel road market it wasn’t the easiest to find at first. I wasn’t expecting the restaurant to have k-bbq as an option here so that was a surprise. Ordered a selection of meats, the kalbi was my least favourite, too sweet for my liking. However stand out dish for me was the heart warming seafood sundubu jjigae, which is a favourite of mine anyway. The tofu agedashi was also very delicious. Meats didn’t taste overly fresh but the kimchi was excellent and crunchy. Service was nice and helpful but could have been more attentive at times. Overall a nice visit with good food options depending how hungry you are at the time. 🇰🇷

Best fried chicken I've had in my life. Kimbap ans dumplings were perfect aswell. The spicy food can be really spicy though, so be careful. Was busy but waiters were polite and got the orders right. If I'm back in London sometime I will definitely go again. It is not cheap, but the prices are perfectly reasonable for the amount and quality you're getting

Great place for a wide variety of Korean food. The Kimbaps are amazing, would recommend. The kimchi pancakes are a bit on the small side but delicious nevertheless. Japchae was good, whatd you’d expect. The fish cake soup though is absolutely wonderful, super simple and tasty. Would visit again.

First experience. Very busy place and plenty of local customers. Chicken dumpling was delicious. We would order more of if we knew how good it is. Main course was exactly what we were expecting. Service, lack of communication and customer skills. If we would have been advised, we would ordered something different from the manu. Although we enjoy to cook our meals in hot plate on the table, that night, that wasn't our place.

Kimchi jigae is a bit sweet. Better not to put sugar in it. Kimchi itself does not have a deep taste. Yukgaejang was all right - not amazing but not bad. My friend loves fried chicken here and I think it’s decent.

What a korean bbq! We left the place feeling like “this was such a great dinner”. Highly recommend the bulgogi BBQ. The chicken dumplings and the rice cake starter were good but the real star of the show was the BBQ. Bulgogi was very well marinated and super tasty. Ribs were a bit chewy though. Service was great, our server helped with recommendations and they operated the BBQ for us.

This has been my go-to lunch spot for the past few months. As a vegan, I'm slightly restricted with the menu options but the tofu dosirak does more than enough to make it up for it. It's absolutely delicious, filling and reasonably priced at £9 considering what you get for it. The staff are exceptionally friendly. It's a lovely place. Would recommend.

Excellent food. Had the Rabokki to share. Didn't actually realise we had to wait for a bit for it to cook properly on the table (would have been good to be advised of that) but once it had, it was truly fabulous. Photos are a before and after (i.e as it arrived before we let it cook and after about 10 minutes when it was ready to eat).

Very good experience at Masigo! “Queue” was supposed to be 15-20, only turned out to be less than 10; efficiency of service started immediately. I think the biggest factor which turned this review from a 4/5 to a 5/5 was the quality not being compromised due to the efficiency (and I must say overall good service). To the food - had the korean army stew (budae jigae) to share - was spicy but not too spicy, generous with the various inclusions, and perfect with side rice. Would recommend this delicious food to anyone in this increasingly cold weather - thank you!

The staff were friendly and patient, and the smell upon entering the restaurant was enticing. I had the sundubu jiggae and tteokbokki, both were well spiced and flavoured, and the sea food flavour in the jiggae was perfect. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the lighting was nice too. I would definitely visit again!!

Had kimbap, naengmyeon, jajangmyeon. Kimbap (beef) was good, warm, had enough flavour, wrapped well - 4* Naengmyeon - 3* (felt a bit diluted compared to others I've tried) Jajangmyeon - 2* didn't come with the yellow pickle, not as tasty as others I've tried. Ordered barley tea which was good and came in a pot so plenty to drink. This place is quite cheap and good service (nice waiters). I just wouldn't go back again hence 3*.

I loved the food here, very authentic and great value. The place is very clean and comfy. Everything is served just as it is in Korea. The Kimchi Pancake was just the right level of chewy and crispy. And much bigger than we expected. Really delicious too. I also had the kimchi stew, which took me right back to my time in Korea. The 2 of us had a shared starter, a main and a drink each and left feeling very full. This only came to about £17 each so we certainly left very happy.

Large portions, reasonable prices (£15 per main course is not common in restaurants nowadays). Service is basic but the venue is clean. Imho Kimchi jeon was too greasy but this is a no-frills no-fail food spot when you're hungry.

Ended up here later on a Saturday night (thanks day drinking). Staff were great. Food came quick and was super tasty. Definitely recommend!

Nice Korean Friend Chicken was nice, coating was thin and crispy. But the Korean Cold Noodle was…well, didn’t taste like Korean Noodle, very plain, barely had any sweet and sour taste at all. Soup was half frozen (I took out half ice cubes before taking the picture), worst cold noodle ever.

Simple little place in Chapel Market. Short ribs soup from a la cart menu is tasty and satisfying. Daily lunch menu though offers good value tends to be mediocre. Service is good.

I ordered their kimchi pancake - it's very good. I am keen on trying other things on the menu as well.

Randomly found Masigo and was not disappointed. Shared the kimchi and pork dumplings. The owner, who made them, recommended we have them fried. And boy was she correct. Best dumplings ever. Both my friend and I had a type of spicy stew. And it was the nicest most delicious ever. She has been to Korea a number of times and says the food was closest she has come to genuine in the UK. Was great food and lovely service. Would recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

Really good Korean food!! I haven’t found too much of it in London and was thrilled to find this. Super authentic and very tasty, I can’t wait to come back

Average Korean food. Attentive service. Kimchi fried rice was underwhelming. Hot fried wings quite nice with a tasty glaze. No ambience.

Definitely one of the best Korean places I've been to. The food was hot, fresh and full of flavour. The hot and sour chicken was especially good. Very friendly waiter made us feel at home.
