Stayed here for 1 night to attend an event at the O2 arena. The Pilot is in a very good location, situated just a 10 minute walk from the O2 and Greenwich North underground station. The Pilot is a cracking little place with a lot of charm and a touch of class, and also has a very nice pub/restaurant. It was nice to see that it's popular with the local residents, and with visiting guests. Our room was very nice, loved the small touches to give it it's charm...like the bird perched on a bird box,way up above the door of our room (see photo). Room was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we expected for a short stay, nice walk-in shower, separate loo, TV, tea/coffee maker... Bed was nice and comfortable too! We stayed for breakfast the following morning and the menu has a very good selection to choose from. I had the full English and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Very well cooked and very tasty, exactly what we needed before heading home! The price we paid for our one-night stay was very good, going by how much we have paid to stay in other places in and around London, and they didn't have breakfast included! I would definitely book to stay here again the next time we are in the Greenwich area, and I can definitely recommend The Pilot. Cheers!

Great food with lovely staff. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is the lack of umbrellas on the terrace, 1 umbrella between 8 tables isn't enough. If we had some shade on a very hot day we'd definitely stayed for a few more drinks!

Second time we have stayed here when visiting the o2. It’s such a lovely pub the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Staff are polite and great customer service. The atmosphere is really lovely, Rooms are clean and funky decor and to top it off walking distance to the o2. You really can’t go wrong.

The pilot is perfect for a pre gig drink if you are going to the o2. It’s close enough to walk to the o2. But far enough away that most people won’t go there. It’s a lovely pub with a great atmosphere. On my visit, the staff were fantastic. They kept track on who was waiting next at the bar. The food we had, was really nice. I had the burger and chips. Overall, it was a nice place to enjoy a couple beers before heading to the gig at the o2.

The food and drinks were very good but! Waiting staff that spray disinfectant on empty tables constantly. Leaning over you without permission or apology. Forgetting to ask if any cruet or sauces were required before disappearing. Announcing the amount of my bill so my guest was fully aware how much I was charged. Awful service that definitely wasn't worth the 10% added charge.

Only went to the bar. Lovely location though. Manager very knowledgeable and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Definitely would return a warm sunny day for drinks and the menu looked good, though I didn't sample anything!

Nice classic looking hotel pub surrounded by modern buildings of Greenwich. Prices of drinks are very reasonable for the area and the staff was friendly and efficient. I liked the old nautical style interior of the pub. There is also nice looking garden area which we didn't use as it was cold, windy December evening. Maybe next time.

The Pilot is an old quaint pub that sits on the Greenwich Peninsular. Historic in style with various nooks and crannies inside it is a lovely place to visit. They have a good range of beers and wines and the staff are polite and friendly. If you drive you can park outside but you will need to place your receipt in your car window to show to the parking wardens that you are visiting the pub. It has a lovely garden with various seating options and the food they serve is of a good quality. Take a stroll along the Thames before or after your visit to create a great day out.

My niece stayed here. I was dropping her off for a concert with friends at the nearby O2. It was the perfect location. Plenty of parking and the O2 a short walk away. Her room was small but very comfortable; the bed took up most of the space so it was worth it. Shower room was large enough, everything worked well including the espresso machine with lots of coffee choices and a kettle for tea. ...I helped myself whilst she was getting ready 😀 I went to join her for breakfast and take her home the next morning. Said hello to the friendly cat whilst I waited for her to join me. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choices of cereal, fruit and pastries as well as a cooked breakfast- I had the vegetarian option, very tasty! Highly recommended 👌🏻

Lovely quient pub with reasonable prices. The food looked and smelt delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly letting you try before you buy. No requests were too big and were always happy to help. It's a place I'd certainly visit again.

The place is nice and spacious. I was able to stay there for 3h with my 1yo walking everywhere and the staff was so nice and patience. Food is delicious. Parking is very convenient and for free right next to the entrance. My friends were going to an evening concert at the 02 Arena and this pub was so much a better option than the indoor bars at the arena.

Well - what can I say? This place is the very place hidden gem or jam that local guys or youngsters could enjoy for a day night. We have used this place as an unofficial ‘leaving drink’ one so I definitely have been here numerous times but never that much disappointed at all. It was always crowded but there are many places you can enjoy inside/and outside. Good good 4.3/5.0

It was good, various seating areas, quiet so good if intending to talk and have a laugh, tried the fish and chips which was proper stuff and a good portion size. If you do intend to eat order before 9 kitchen closes then. There's also free parking available which is like gold dust these days. So yeah all in all had no complaints

Fantastic hotel, couldn't be placed better for the o2. Room was really nice and quirky. Bar is a nice place to eat and drink, including the outside area Breakfast is spot on. Will certainly stay again if we be true south to see anything at the o2 Thanks again

Great place to stay just a short walk to the O2 arena. Cosy little room with plenty of coffee, water, even a speaker dock thing although I didn't use it. Bit noisy in the morning if you're a light sleeper but I'm always up early anyway so it didn't bother me. Breakfast and bar snacks were top notch, and every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and accommodating.

Can’t comment on the rooms as I haven’t stayed. However, as a pub and restaurant the place is great! It has a nice country pub vibe with a good selection of food and drinks. Food portions are really big in size. I would recommend booking if going on the weekends as it can get busy!

Came here for a Christmas meal this evening and was thoroughly disappointed. Several food items either came out cold or undercooked. And of the meals we had that were warm, they often lacked flavour and weren’t enjoyable leading us to barely touch some items. All in all we were very dissatisfied, but working in hospitality, I myself know the struggles of being open over the festive period which we took into account. No issues whatsoever with the service which was absolutely warm and welcoming, just a shame the food quality didn’t match especially considering that it was listed as a Christmas meal.

If you want escape the expected you find in and around the O2, follow the path through the so called Central Park to The small row of cottages and you will find the Pilot Pub. Popular with locals and families at the weekend. Also a small hotel. With the 10 minute walk from the O2 especially on a warm day.

Ducked in here one rainy day for a quick pint with kids in tow. Typical fullers pub, plenty of free tables that were reserved for people that weren't there. Asked one of the staff if we could sit at a table until whoever reserved it turned up and you might of thought that I just s**t in her cornflakes. I took a bit of initiative and sat down anyway, luckily the reservists never turned up and we got to enjoy a few overpriced craft beers in the dry. Probably swerve it next time

Very convenient for visiting the O2 at North Greenwich, this is also a decent place to visit, whether for drinks, food, or guestrooms. Good decorand clean. Food, albeit a bit pricey, is nice enough as well. Worth a visit for sure!

We stopped for lunch here after going on the cable car over the Thames. Greeting was below par, actually quite unfriendly. Definitely book a table to eat inside or in the garden - we didn't, but there were nice tables outside available, which I thought had a better view and weren't as enclosed. Service was non-existent outside, but when ordered, drink and food came very quickly and was excellent. If you don't want the hustle and bustle of the O2 dining experience, this is a short walk away and highly recommended. PS Did not stay, so did not rate rooms.

Staff are great and the sunday roast is a recommendation from me and others alike. Great slab of meat and tasty gravy. Shame that it only has a small serving or cauliflower cheese but its all groovy.Would go again.

Went here with friends from work as a meal out. Unfortunately they were down a few staff and weren't able to offer a full table service, but they managed it well and it didn't materially affect the evening. The drinks selection seemed varied enough to cater for all. The food on offer was more of a traditional English pub food offering, it was done to a high standard at a very reasonable price. The desert was a standout especially the salted caramel tart.

Went in for a drink, beer was very standard. Decided to order a snack with our drinks and thought the focaccia (for £5.95) would be nice. Although we weren't expecting it to be incredible (we're in a pub after all) we definitely didn't expect it to be a few bits of chopped up burnt toast. If you're nearby and looking for somewhere for a drink go for it, but judging by this as their food quality I wouldn't eat here.

Nice part of the Millennium Village. Good friendly service. Heaps of room. There weren't many people on the Thursday night I went there. Good veggie burger and the on tap cider was great.

The Pilot is our local pub, but we mostly go there for eating. The Sunday roast is good, but today was exceptionally good!! Table of four, Sunday roast and drink, 25£ each. Very reasonable and the quality is really high. Absolutely recommended, it was the first British roast for my Italian family and they were really happy with it. In general I can say the place is cool, big and bright, with a garden area for summer. They have other good dishes, but the roast is by far my favourite. I usually get the mini dessert with cappuccino too, and perhaps this is the only thing I don't find particularly good - the coffee. But again, it's a pub. And I'm a fussy Italian 😂

We have been going to the Pilot for many years , usually for drinks and food before going to the O2 for gigs. This was our first visit after the pandemic and im pleased to say standards remain high. We ate in the downstairs restaurant and the food, chicken dinner and fish and chips was excellent, we also had Brownies for dessert which were light in texture, almost like warm chocolate mousse, and lovely. Service was great , decor clean and bright. A really good visit and we look forward to going back.

On a very hot weekend we had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. We had room 9 at the top of the stairs. It had air conditioning a krupps drinks machine and all manner of coffee and tea bags. The bed was really comfortable. The room lovely and quirky and clean. Breakfast was amazing so much to choose from and all the staff were lovely. Great location for the 02 arena and on a Sunday they have just started a market near the arena which is worth looking at all the handmade crafts. The tube is a short walk away. The cable cars are nearby and so is the dining suspended by a crane.

The food is extremely good (cheers to the cook) and Shannon in service is such a great character. I’m so amazed and positively surprised by the pub and hotel. Absolutely worth it!!

I’m a regular customer here, the ales and food are excellent and the management always find time to welcome you and interact with you. The overall experience is very satisfying and the staff are very professional and willing to assist your every request. The decor and environment are superb and I would recommend it strongly.

Googled this place and it looked lovely. Everything we could want for a drink and meal local to hotel. Unfortunately we were advised on arrival that we couldn't order food for at least half an hour. No problem time to digest the menu and partake of a tipple whilst deciding what to eat. Up to the bar 40 minutes later to be informed no couldn't order anything for at least an hour as they were busy. Sorry but we left after that as couldn't chance that we would be kept waiting any further. This was an early Thursday evening 17:30 when we arrived. Had we known at the time we arrived we would have moved on straight away.

Really nice pub in a great location, close walk to the O2 and great local pub if you live in the area like me . There is a private parking just outside and you just need to display your receipt in the window of the car and get two hours. There’s a beer garden at the front , the back and also a terrace. Indoors is also nice with a good atmosphere . Friendly staff. Didn’t eat the food but it looks good !
