First time with microsuction and was very impressed with the care and service I received at Devika James. Booking an appointment was friendly and straightforward and the questions I had answered thoroughly. On the day, I was seen straight away and the suction process itself was very quick and painless - much less intrusive than syringing. Customer service was excellent throughout. Will be revisiting the next time my ears require it!

Devika helped us out in our time of need. The hospital dealt with our newborn in a less than humane manner. Covid was rife so we don't blame them but we needed answers. We had been informed that our daughter had "failed" a routine hearing test.On a visit to Devika, we were given the professional and kind advice we needed. Devika was amazing with our daughter and her and her partner went above and beyond to reassure two tired and stressed out new parents.

I took my husband here for his birthday, because he seemed to have bad hearing but I wanted to make sure he wasn't pretending he couldn't hear me. Anyway, they did a FREE inspection, said his ears were overflowing with wax and just told him to use drops, saving me close to £100. They said to come back a month later, when they did the same thing again! Could have easily taken our money and we wouldn't have known any better, clearly very honest and generous people here, would definitely recommend.

Very impressed by the customer service at Devika James. Went for ear wax removal. Had been putting oil in ears for a week before. She told me the oil was starting to remove the wax, and gave me the option of carrying on with the oil (and not charging me) or having micro suction. Decided to go ahead with micro suction and she was very good - noticed I was wincing at the loud noises and changed the suction tool to help.

Tremendous service - friendly, informative and honest with absolutely no pressure to buy. I went in with blocked ears and although I was told that drops would clear them in a few days I opted for the suction which was quick, absolutely painless and very effective. Many thanks

Customer care at it’s very best! I visited Devika James for the first time today for a micro suction procedure. I was a little nervous as I’d had a bad syringe experience when I was a boy was met by a very friendly Victoria at reception, who put me at ease. Devika is amazing. Patient, caring and again very friendly. The procedure was painless. I know I have bad hearing (or so my wife tells me) but she didn’t try to press me to undergo a.test or look into aids. The service, care and friendliness is second to none. Thanks so much.

Highly recommend. I was nervous about going as it's horrible to think you can't hear as well as you used to but Dee quicky reassured me with her kind and caring manner. It turns out both ears had fluid in the inner ear. Dee explained clearly what would help me and I was charged just for the device to help. No charge was made for her time. She followed up with a hearing test once my ears were clear and explained what I should expect during the test. I'm so happy and I have my confidence back. Not only can I hear more clearly but my face is no longer puffy as all the fluid in my sinuses has now shifted. I wish I'd visited her sooner. If you have any concerns about your hearing don't delay go and see Dee.

We recently took our 10 year old boy to check for wax buildup in his ears. He was very nervous about the appointment and possibility of the procedure but Dee was absolutely fantastic , reassuring him very calmly and being exceptionally understanding. She recommended we try some ear sprays at home first as this would be less of a worry for our son and in addition would be a less expensive option. We returned a couple of weeks later expecting to need the procedure but Dee was pleased to tell us that the treatment had been really successful and microsuction was needed, to the great relief of our son! I cannot speak highly enough of Dee’s approach, her professionalism and her genuine wish to do the best for her patient especially given his concerns. Would unequivocally recommend. Thank you Dee !

Devika ran a full audiology test, explaining each step very clearly and then gave a very full explanation of the mechanics of the ear and how interlinked hearing and brain function are as we age. She gives impartial recommendations with no pressure to buy, especially important when adjusting to the idea of hearing loss. Her empathy and care make her totally trustworthy. We are very lucky to have her in the area.

Not surprised that they have all 5 star reviews as this place is faultless. The service is impeccable- you feel comfortable the second you walk in the door. The other thing for me the blew me away is Devika looked at my ears and told me I had other issues and didn't actually need their help - and didn't charge me! She explained to me what she was seeing and listened to me for the first time - and I felt so relieved after this visit now insisting to see a specialist with my GP. THANK YOU! This won't be forgotten and I will recommend you to everyone.

Highly professional and friendly service! Hearing problems cause anxiety and it's important to be treated in a thoughtful and caring way. Devika James does this perfectly. She saved last Xmas for me with her microsuction treatment for earwax. I had been dreading annoying the family by turning up the TV or making them endlessly repeat themselves. But after the treatment I was able to annoy them in more traditional ways! I would be confident Devika James could deal with more complex hearing problems in the same way.
