Chitral Gol National Park is one of the best nature reserve park Pakistan. This place has a long drive to a top of a mountain. Do take eatables with you as no shop is up there and it is is generally cold. This park is famous for its Markhor goats. If you are lucky you will be able to spot some massive Markhors or screw horned goat here. This park can only be visited with a local or army contact person. It is also only accessible by jeep or on foot.

Chitral Gol National Park, cradled within the majestic landscapes of Chitral, Pakistan, is not just a protected expanse of wilderness; it is a sanctuary where nature unfolds in its purest form. As one ventures into its depths, the park reveals a tapestry of diverse ecosystems, from alpine meadows to dense forests, showcasing the untouched beauty of the Hindukush region. The meandering Chitral River, the snow-capped peaks, and the vibrant flora and fauna create a harmonious symphony of nature. The park not only serves as a refuge for rare species like the Kashmir Markhor but also stands as a testament to the importance of conservation in preserving Pakistan's biodiversity. May Chitral Gol National Park remain an untouched haven for biodiversity, where the delicate balance of ecosystems is preserved for generations to come. The ongoing efforts to safeguard this natural treasure contribute to the broader narrative of environmental stewardship and sustainable coexistence. To the custodians and conservationists of Chitral Gol National Park, may your dedication to preserving this ecological gem be acknowledged. May the park continue to be a source of inspiration, inviting all who venture into its embrace to marvel at the wonders of untamed nature in the heart of Chitral.

Definitely a beautiful place along with breathtaking views, it took almost an hour drive from Chitral city. It is home to some endangered species like Markhoor, Snow Leopards etc, if you are lucky you will be able to spot some. Must carry water and some eatables, you will not get any food stall in between. Washroom not maintained properly. Beautiful hiking track is available for hiking lover.

Breath talking place after a very challenging road. Must go there if you ever visit chitral. Wild life park having markhor white snow leopard and lions.2915m high is amazing and worth visiting for adventerous people. Amazing scape which changes as you move forward. The drive to the park features a winding, rocky dirt road, so be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride. That said, the rising altitude affords spectacular views of a sweeping landscape. From Chitral City nestled in the lap of the surrounding range (keep an eye out for the airstrip!) to the grandeur of rolling mountains reaching towards shockingly blue skies - scenic is the word I'd use. The park itself features delightful trails for the more adventurous (sturdy shoes are a must) as well as secreted nooks for picnicking. It tends to get chillier towards the evening so dress accordingly. Definitely a place which is a prime example of the breathtaking beauty of our Pakistani landscape. Stunning! Chitral Gol National Park is a national forest reserve of Pakistan for climate change and some rare specie like Markhor. A walking track to explore the area has beautiful sight seeing.Fantastic place I suggest people to go there u never ever seen such a great green and full of nature. Beautiful Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤️ Chitral National Park, Chitral, Pakistan. Chitral Gol National Park is one of the National Parks of Pakistan. It supposed to be a green place to visit in Chitral but its seasonal greenery. We were here on 19th August 2021 when we visited Chitral and Kalash valley. We left Hotel on hiace for this point. From Chitral it takes 1 hours 10 minutes to reach there, track is dangerous who have never visited such narrow track. If I make example then this track is mixture of Lalazar and Siri paye track. Point does not having any attraction on the site but weather can amazed you when you feel cool breeze then forgive every worry in your life. There is nothing that can you buy for food even no stall for water and snacks. You have to took all the food with you to eat or drink. Washroom was available but no water found so its on risk.

Chitral Gol national park is a beautiful scenic place. It takes more than an hour to reach from Chitral city. On the way it gives a beautiful view of chitral airport and chitral city. Off road track is tricky at some places. Help of local guide is recommended. At the top u can find wild life department post. A beautiful track for hiking can also be found in national park. Some places are marked for Markhoor view along side the road. A day trip of this place is worth.

I had travelled to almost all famous places in Northern Areas except Chitral. So, this summer, made plans for Chitral Valley and sorroundings. Visited Gol national Park on day 1. I being an avid lover of nature and wilderness, loved the atmosphere, the calm and beauty of this park but not a fun place for families and kids. If you are a hiking or trail lover, then its a must visit place otherwise, go to some other valley with sufficient facilities for the kids and families. You also enjoy good view of Tirich Mir behind tall, old and majestic trees. A mesmerising blend of wilderness and raw nature. Strongly Recommended for hiking, nature lovers, photography, camping and trekking.

Nothing to write home about. The restroom facility at the top can only be accessed if one has an official letter or an official note.

wow. what a breathtaking views I ever seen while my visits to Northern areas of KPK since my childhood. I traveled alot on dangerous routes in hilly areas but for the first time i frightened very much. There is forest rest house with only two bedrooms. you have to book the rooms before planing the visit if want a night stay or you can opt for camping. In either case bring food with your self enough for you stay. beautiful walking tracks and lush green mountains. There is a view point where at night you can observe the sounds of waterfalls from far sighted glaciers. That music will take you to another level and when there is full moon then it becomes a life time experience. I recommend a night stay with pre booking in the forest rest house. You will remember your stay for life.

The National Park is located at a significant height than the rest of the district, and therefore provides picturesque views of the entire valley. While observing the valley from such an elevation, one can denote how the Hindu Kush range is almost interconnected, with one mountain intertwining with another, which adds to the overall charm of the place. Apart from the views of the valley that the national park offers, the Jeep ride leading up to the destination itself was absolutely magical, where one experiences snow, sand and vegetation in a singular frame. Once you reach the top of the National Park you are acquainted with spectacular mountains on all four sides, and apparently there is a trek of around 3-4hrs present once you reach the top which most people are unaware of (even we ourselves got to know about it after leaving). If ever in Chitral district or passing through, spend a day at the national park and put your mind at ease under the auspice of natural beauty.

one of the National Parks of Pakistan. It is located in Chitral District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan beside the Chitral River, at a distance of two hours drive from Chitral town. The park is also known as Chitral National Park. The way leading to the park is quite narrow and dangerous, yet more risky during the rainy days. It is located between 1450 metre and about 5000 metre above sea level. It has an area of 7750 hectares. This park includes three valleys. Several glaciers also lie in the park through which several springs make their way and ultimately form a stream which runs 18 kilometres. The cold water of this stream flows towards the east, into the River Chitral. The park is rich in trees particularly cedar trees. The park also serves to provide shelter to a vast bio-diversity, especially markhor, an endangered wild goat species. Some of the larger mammals found in the park
