WHITE PALACE It was first named as Swatti Taj Mahal, later Motti Mahal and now Sufed Mahal (White Palace). An old and historical building. One can stay here as well but before booking is must. Serene place and 30 min drive from saidu shareef.

Marghazar White Palace is a historic place. It was built in 1941. People who love history will surely enjoy this place. Tourist can also stay here. Charges for one night stay is Rs. 6,000 per room. Visitors coming to this palace can also enjoy the scenic views of Marghazar. A highly recommended spot for people visiting Swat.

Beautiful palace located between the mountains. Amazing views and helpful reception staff. I’ve not tried any food there but heard good things about it. Cleanliness is on point ✌️💕

Been a fan of this space since childhood as I was born in Swat and lived early years here. It’s still a getaway any day for us boys or families especially when Mingora becomes humid - this space always has great weather and a super accommodating staff! The rooms however are super old but well let’s do if you like that taste, then it’s a treat too!

Amazing, Wonderful and Serene place. Good for family visit. If you don't want to stay, there is an entry ticket of PKR 100 which can be redeemed for a drink in summer and Tea in winter.

Quiet, nice place near saidu sharif, must visit when you plan trip to kalam or malam jabba. Roads to this place are very good condition and scenic but avoid visit here on weekends due to lot of rush. I saw there trees of oranges, lemon, apple and walnut😀, pics attached

Beautiful drive and scenic views at the Marghazar White Palace. Very peaceful place. It could be better managed and made a real tourist spot.

It is always pleasure to be there. Place is mesmerising. I visited alongwith family and stayed there for two days. People are free to visit the place but it has very limited rooms to stay. Pre booking is highly recommended. It’s a king place and rooms of palace are also king sized. Better to visit in summer. Almost all facilities are available there, hot water, heater till twelve at night and soo on.

This place is not worthy for visiting in winters!. The temperature was very low like 7/8° Otherwise the restaurant service is fast and food is good.. Maybe summer is better season to describe the beauty of this place!. ❤️

Good area to visit, specially for students and teachers of history. They know about kings and Raja's of this land. Suggestions to Whitehouse management: kindly provide parking 🅿️ area to visitors. Good hotels 🛏️ and restaurants to visitors. Don't take any fee?

Palace is beautiful but it deserves more care and development. Proper management for making it a great tourist attraction is needed. The restaurant needs better renovation to suit the beauty of this palace.

Simplicity at it's best. It's a small white building. Not that small but for Palace, it's small. More of a banglow. It feels like it's made by carving out an ivory rock. Palace has been turned into hotel now. With new huts and rooms for guests whereas main palace building serves as dinning hall and sitting arena. They charge 50 rupees to enter the palace and also offer free beverages. There is a beautiful water stream next to palace and huge garden in front of the palace. At it's parking there are a lot handicraft shops and some locals sell seasonal fruits and dry fruits.

It is not worth the effort of going in complete opposite direction of Malam Jabba for nothing. The overall ambience was very okayish. Food was below standard. Staff was okay but food quality was so low that it did not compensate for their good behaviour. Not worth it.

Marghuzar is famous for its walnut cultivations and White palace. White Palace is located in the lap of mount Elum. which is the main tourist attraction in Marghuzar. It was built by the Wali of Swat (king of swat) in victorian style and it is said to be the first victorian styled building in the mumlikat e khudadad Yusufzai state of Swat. White Palace was honored by the royal highness Queen Elizabeth II in 1961. But currently it is an hotel.they deals in cash only. ✅ Entrence fee is required. ✅ Historical status. ❌ Wheel chair ♿ accessibility for persons having different abilities ❌ Fire extinguishers 🧯 ❌ COVID-19 measures 😷 ❌ First aid ⛑️ I hope my review will help you.

It's really an amazing place, a must visit spot, the way is even more beautiful I would dare say. However our people are successfully converting it into a trash bin as despite the provision of bins we are littering the whole palace. My recommendation if you are in a nearby location, do visit this and if you are a female or with them visit Islampur ( very near) for beautiful handmade shawls.

Spend a few while there. It is still in ancient times condition. The staff is cooperative. Food is served here. Rooms are available for rent. It is a very pleasant and comfortable place to visit with family. It looks really natural and beautiful. The weather is cold in summer.

If you are a history buff then you should visit this place but only for its historical significance and considering how this place was built with Marble brought from Jaipur, India. The whole building has been turned into a restaurant and a picnic spot and is kept in a very bad shape. There is plastic bottles, wrappers, shoppers, empty juice boxes everywhere. Which has a very bad effect on the overall beauty of the place. The stream next to the Palace has its banks littered with different bottles and plastic wrappers and the place is in need of a major cleanup to restore it's original beauty and serenity.

Review for Marghazar White Palace, Swat: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an enchanting experience visiting Marghazar White Palace in Swat! The palace's historical significance and picturesque surroundings left me in awe. The architectural beauty of the white marble structure blended seamlessly with the lush green gardens, creating a serene and captivating atmosphere. The well-maintained pathways and garden areas make it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls and photography enthusiasts. The views from the palace offer breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains, adding to the overall charm of the place. Inside the palace, the museum exhibits provided fascinating insights into the region's rich cultural heritage and history. The exhibits were thoughtfully curated, making the visit educational and enjoyable. Moreover, the palace staff was friendly and helpful, making the visit even more pleasant. They were eager to share information about the palace and its history. I highly recommend Marghazar White Palace to anyone visiting Swat. A great disappointment surrounds one's feeling after arriving at this place. Not recommended at all. I mean there are more beautiful homes made by the locals that could be seen while driving towards this so called white palace.

Visiting white palace was such an awesome experience, the way to white palace is really beautiful, the place is really calm and quite, you only hear the chirping of the birds and voice of the water running down. Such a unique and antique place to visit. Highly recommended

Murghazar is a very beautiful and lovely place of Pakistan especially White Palace which is the house of Wali Swat here clean and clear air pleasant weather and greenery attracts you. There are three clocks displayed in the White Palace which show the time of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the United States. There are many more to be mentioned, but this is enough. While this is all so good, there is also some work to be done. First is that for one night stay only you have to pay 10000 Pakistani rupees which is not permissible and 100 rupees to see the White Palace which may cause lack of tourists.
