There was a time when the shopping centre had all the stops open and there was a lot people. These days only a few shops are open - it would be really nice a decide on the future of the shopping centre.

Needs more cleaning please. But over all not a bad place. Improved recently new shops here. You can get what you want. Variety of food and range of pound shops, banks, bakery and etc. Not a bad place if you want to do day to day tasks.

⚠️ Had to go here for an appointment. Wow, what a disappointment 😞 how Slough Town centre has changed. Most of the big brand shops are closed, and those remaining are bargain bazaar types. Desolate, miserable from what was once a thriving hub full of shoppers. It's really a shock having been abroad for so long to come and see this 😒

Shopping centre looks and feels run down, only two places seem decent & worth a visit- Primark well stocked and clean / Teddy play town soft play fun place for Kiddies , has a small cafe within serving hot/ cold drinks, food , snacks. The Shopping centre and high street is in MUCH need of a redevelopment andneed to have better shops opened as many are permanently closed. Sad. Hopfully there will be some positive changes.

The multi storey car park does not give you a ticket. It read your number plate and you oay for it on your exit at the barrier. Contrary to all the sign which say you have to pay on the ground floor shopping centre.

absolute dive lots of empty premises, looks really grubby all the best shops have gone like Debenham and M&S been some time since I had been there really shocked at the change. The whole high street is awful.

As it is on the verge of closing, like the whole mall to be demolished.. half side shops are already being shut down. Only few shops are there, good to spend 3-4 hours. Hoping to see the renovated/new Queensmere soon.

It's a absolute shame what it has become,I had to go get my phone fixed and I was told it would take app 30 minutes to fix so I thought I'd walk around and and its nothing but pound shops and burgers joints. Sad as once upon a time it was a thriving town centre and shopping precinct, where people from surrounding areas would come to do their shopping, now we are going to ither towns for our shopping.

It was ONCE a thriving centre but due to the local authority's incompetence in managing its finances properly (minus £150 million loss) many reputable stores have already closed making the observatory look delepidated. The major outlets have in a way expressed that Slough has no future for their businesses.

At one time the shopping centre was pivotal in going to shop. Every shop in the centre was filled and there was an atmosphere. Coming here was the one event to be excited about to shop to just spend the day out if not really to shop. In recent years the depreciation of the centre looks rather depressed and lifeless. Only a few shops are left open and crowds have been diminished. I hope that this is just a phase before something phenomenal happens to transform this place.

Good service, timely ride to airport friendly staff and rates.. (what a jock) Update: Month later, when we had to extend parking services because of late arrival, the charges doubled. So arranged to pick up our car and it won't start. They were supposed to switch on the ignition every few days, but obviously, who knows. So after a few well spent hours power started. Such a waste of money and time.

only few big shops are there in big shopping area. Some of the shops and business are closed including cinema (may be during covid time). It's not worth to pay big parking fee for selective shopping.

Whatever happened to this shopping centre! It has become a vast area of empty properties or quick pop up shops. All the main retail shops have moved out. What was a decent centre has been allowed to go to waste. How is Slough ever going to recover as a place worth visiting.

Low quality products and I was expected to find better products than WM area, but still love the brand the concept and keep be one of the valuable treasure hunter ;)

I would to admire this shopping mall and a frequent visitor before Covid. After Covid I went and most of Shops are now closed. It is mostly empty with more shops having ads of closing down sale. It feels sad that a good shopping mall is not able to keep its momentum. It will be good to have some initiatives to bring it to life again.

My every weekend spot for shopping for any kind. Though there used to be more options earlier, now it is limited set of shops available due to the renovation works in progress. It should get better in next few years

Not like it used to be. Shops are a little sparse compared to high street brands. You still have JD and Primark. It's ok you can still get what you need though

It was very tidy but not very busy. Tge shoos are kept well with bright shiney windows. The floors were very clean. There is also a picture house inside open later than the shops. Parking is right behind

I'd give it one star if I could. The shops are so depressing. No toilets work , disabled and non disabled... It's no wonder the streets smell of urine - people have no where to urinate!!!

The shopping center has lots of empty stalls. The inside of the mall looks really sad. The only ones I visit inside are Primark and TKMaxx.

  • 2/5 Charu V. 8 months ago on Google
It really has such a small number of shops in there. 2 or 3 big brands only inside other than that I can pretty much assure you, not a good place to visit.

  • 3/5 Touring F. 7 months ago on Google
It used to be a great place back in the days but now its just an empty shell of its former glory. Nothing much to see unfortunately or places to buy from but you can still grab a bargain from whats leftover. I prefer visiting the fruit and veg shop but thats it for me unfortunately.

So, do? Looks bit ruff, not appealing. Little gems to be found & local traders have been friendly and inviting. Place desperately could do with facility to match some the vibrant people and businesses.

Observatory is just ok. It could be 5 stars, but it's reflective of Slough town centr I am afraid..a bit broken, run down and not very nice looking. Not many big name stores here either, which in and of itself is not too bad, but there is a lack of thriving, varied independents..other than knock off clothes and furniture shops. Holland and Barratt, an entrance to TK MAXX and card factory are about the only stores worth a visit.

A dying shopping centre. Half of it closed earlier in the year but even the remaining half has unoccupied units. No signs of demolition on the closed half yet..... Hopefully, when the remaining occupied units start to move out and into the High Street, the look of the High Street will actually improve. Slightly, at least...

It's a good place to shop most of shops have closed down but still has tk max Asian shops and cafes and pound land and whsmith ,soft play

Unfortunately lots of the well known stores/big brands are moving out of Slough, which doesn't leave much to be desired in the Shopping Centre. Think this is more of an issue with the area/council than the shopping centre though! I like that we still have a Primark here and my partner is glad there is still a TKMaxx. Generally very clean apart from the toilets but this isn't unusual in public places in Slough. Lots of parking available. Unfortunately I use this as more of a walkthrough to Tesco as not many of the shops in the shopping centre appeal to me. Other thing to mention is that most of the automatic doors don't seem to work or are very temperamental! Nightmare when I'm on my own with pram!

I have an eye test at specsavers today and decided to park in the Queensmere carpark. Level 4 was the only space I felt comfy to park as the spaces left on other floors were not going to suite my vehicle. I left my car to find the lifts out of order and I had to do the walk of fame down the most disgustingly smelling stair case and what's more every car parked in this establishment had to do the same... oh my goodness I want to go home and have a bath and wash my hair... worst of all I have taken a ticket to pay for parking... I am appalled and will never come here to park.. what a let down. AVOID THE SMELLY CARPARK WITH THE BROKEN LIFTS.

This place is a very sorry sight. Hardly any shops anymore and not many people about. I used to come here regularly years ago and it was a real bustling place but sad to say those days appear to have gone. Such a shame.

I actually go to Queensmere just for going to the bank, shopping at Iceland, and fashion stores.. the environment of the shopping centre is not that nice. .. it's making me feel depressed

  • 3/5 Daniel M. 2 years ago on Google
Well, it's two shopping centres combined into one which can be a bit confusing if you're new to the area. The Queensmere and The Observatory respectively. Alot of the shops are privately owned instead of just being supermarket chains and there aren't many restaurants and toilets when compared to the likes of Guildford or Kingston. But overall, it's a decent shopping centre. I've seen better, but I've seen far worse too.

Good to Visit if you need a few things but selection is better at other Shopping centres but you can get Nandos and watch a Film if you want to thats all that matters I guess.

Very limited shopping options, would not recommend it if you need to do a big shopping, even known stores are smaller than what you would expect

My visit was to Vision Express. Always good service. Mr Israr is such a pleasant gentleman to do business with. Also card warehouse good value for money. New ranges with lots of alternatives to select from.

Very sad experience walking through here, only one or two shops open. Probably the only ones worth visiting (although I didn't) were TK and Primark.

  • 4/5 Emanuele C. 2 years ago on Google
Convenient for leaving your car and go to the airport. Just be aware that you may be charged 5 poun more (for every car that gets to the car park) for the shuttle to get to the airport. Ask your service provider.

excellent food places are always opening up, not a large selection of clothing but what can we really expect living at a time where people buy clothes online. high street is still busy

  • 3/5 Marni K. 2 years ago on Google
Shopping centre was empty with a few independent stores, parking was another nightmare as the machines in the the centre do not work. The whole place seem like it really needs a makeover and is stuck in the 90s .

I did not really feel my shopping experience in Queensmere as a visitor in that area the shops I went into did not have everything I wanted and there were no other shop I could walk in to make up for those things I could not get. I went into a shop to buy trainers on getting to the till it was two different sizes.I shop and the mall without those trainers Ibreally like. There are no good variety of shops in this mall, simple.

Not many shops left in Slough as a whole especially the major high street brands. Slough High Street is 90% 99p stores, take aways or phone repairs, Same can be said of the observatory. Mostly pop up shops now just full of random cheap low quality Chinese type goods. Unless your just passing by and want to pop into TK maxx or primark. I'd keeping on walking and go to shop in another town.

Heap loads of variety...very organised shop and a good amount of staff....but one thing you have to be careful...choose your vest and undergarments carefully...as you cannot return them... even if you haven't opened it and find that you have picked the wrong size. But except that...it is a good shop... specially for kids...loads of variety.

Almost deserted in places with many units empty. Clean and tidy, but a bit soulless.only go in if you need one of the shops inside.

  • 4/5 S 2 years ago on Google
The indoor part of the Queensmere shopping centre is clearly suffering from prolonged regeneration blight. Two major retailers, Primark & TKMax, generate the only meaningful footfall towards the inside of the centre, with a new JD sport to open soon. Sadly, over 50% of the retail space inside the centre remains empty ! However, in total contrast, the outside part of the Queensmere shopping centre running alongside the High Street is much more interesting and vibrant. Not only do you find UK major retailers but also an unusual mix of independent retailers and food outlets from the Middle East. Lastly, in the evening, there are clearly signs of social deprivation and significant drug use throughout the area with antisocial behaviour to match. So stick to 9-5 and you're fine.

Slough means business?? really? not here. shopping centre in terrible condition! Slough are focused only to build more and more flats to rent etc.

  • 4/5 Steven N. 2 years ago on Google
Love the fact that it's like treasure hunt and you can always find something to buy e.g. clothing, cosmetics, bags, kitchen stuff, food, household items... Recommended because prices always better than others.

  • 1/5 Verdah D. 2 years ago on Google
Sadly, the demise of Slough's high street is well on its way, and the conditions of the shopping malls are the best indicator of that. Dirty toilets, empty abandoned shops etc. except for ONE thing that has gotten a major superb upgrade recently: the PARKING TICKET MACHINES. They are probably the only most expensive investment done by the management in the last few years...

  • 3/5 Hannah W. 1 year ago on Google
This shopping centre used to be great but unfortunately now it's feeling really dated and a bit run down. There are a lot of empty shops and the shops that are there aren't ones that most people would recognise. Some shops that are on the guide now no longer exist.

It is decent sized, cleaned mall. Staff always try to keep clean but looks like visited are not bothered to keep it clean. Ramp/steps entry to Brunel way road is always with bad smell. Shops and variety of stores are limited. I tried multiple times for good clothes and daily wear shoes but options for shopping is limited. Earlier M&S is available now they closed store. Food options also limited. Hope in near term shops in mall will fill with permanent & quality shops. Kids play area is very good and my kid use to enjoy space near Primark store. Kids have play toys every corner it gave good option to parents to entertain them. Overall my family and me is satisfied with visit to this mall.
