This practice is terrific. Dr. Amit kamat combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. He’s also an excellent cardiologist Also, the staff is very friendly and professional. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive on time for an appointment.

The best physician I've come across in my life. He got all the time in world, literally all the time in the world to hear about what patient has to say. Very few actually do that. You'd feel like you're talking to your close family member he makes you feel so comfortable, His diagnosis are on the point, you'd be feeling better just by talking to him. That's how good he is. No matter how worse your condition is, you'd be walking out with a smile on your face and a healthy body at the end of your treatment when you leave his clinic. Wish we had more doctors like him. I'd have given 10 stars if possible.

I want to share my own experience. My niece was having gallstones in her gallbladder. Everyday she used to get severe pain. We contacted many doctors in Karwar as well as Mangalore and Bangalore. Everyone told her to remove gallbladder. But Dr. Amit Kamat Sir gave entire different reason for her pain. He told gallstones are common and are present in almost 80% of human population and they are asymptomatic. When my niece shared her symptoms, he told her that she was suffering from IBS and Constipation. He prescribed her medicine and now she don't have any attacks. He's the best doctor in Karwar and Karwarians should be proud to have him here. He is so humble and understand our problem very clearly and he's very patient when he's dealing with his patients. He's never rude with patients despite of people being rude with him, he'll deal with each and every human being humbly. I'm so happy and I pray to god to bless you with all the goodness in this world sir. You saved my niece from severe IBS attacks. Every night she used to tremble in pain and vomitting. She couldn't sleep properly and her willpower to become healthy had become zero. She thought she'll never be healthy again. But Dr. Amit Kamat Sir proved her wrong. Now she's healthy, she's going to gym and keeping herself in check, she's also working and she improved her mental health a lot. Even Thank-you seems very small to show my appreciation. The doctor takes a prior history before consulting any new medicine. He really takes time and effort to understand what patients concerns are and conforts them by giving right guidance and medication. I had visited the doc for parents regular health check and got the right advise

Doctors are not on time. Incase doctor change time, than it is basic common sense of reception that they should inform patient about the changes, but this basic culture is missing. Nurse at main reception does not have any manners how to sit at chair and answer the query. Pure non sense nurse
