It is one of the best engineering college in Bihar after IIT Patna & NIT Patna. It is very old college, established in 1960. Infrastructure is very good but there is problem of water logging in this campus due to gulf. Most of the land occupied by gulf and filled by water. Currently two new hostel has been started with good facilities. Road connectivity is good. Companies are also come for placement.

The IIT n IIIT of Bhagalpur is very famous, it is on NH and is very big. Construction is on for other deptts. Have good Mess (both veg n non veg facilities. Climate is very cozy. Superb hostel facilities for both girls n boys. Students are mainly from Bihar and Bengal.
