I recently came to this Clinic/Hospital because I had an issue with another local Eye Hospital which made the wrong diagnosis. I came in with an eye issue and the place said I had a viral eye infection. Fast forward 2 weeks later no improvement and my eyes got worse with the wrong medicines. After searching for another place to get re-diagnosed I found this on Google and read many of the reviews, so I was hopeful they could find out what was wrong with my eyes. When I arrived with my girlfriend we were greeted professionally and was brought to the doctor to be examined. I mentioned my problem and said I had a viral eye infection, apparently when the doctor said it was not viral but a bacterial skin infection around the eye lid that was causing the problem I was a bit shocked and it made sense. He explained that my eye was not red and the fluid on my eyelids was causing the discharge and swollen eye lids. He then had his assistant do a temperature, O2 Oxygen and blood pressure test to check my vitals. As he throughly explained how I might have got the infection and how it should be treated with the medications I was given (antibiotics and an ointment for my eyelid. He was quite professional and technical on his explanation which cleared up a lot of my questions. Apparently he worked in China as well and can speak fluent Mandarin (he spoke to my girlfriend who is Chinese). After a week now I can say my infection is almost gone, my colour around my eyes is already faded and almost back to normal. Just a few more days and I will be my old self again (after 40 days!). Lesson learned. Pay the Fee at this place to see a Doctor who knows his stuff, trust me. It is worth it. I paid only 50 Rupees at the Eye Hospital and lost 1 month of my life.

Great service! If you got insurance coverage they can really take good care of you! Sunil the nurse there is the best! Super friendly and what a joyful attitude! I got amitted for 24 hours and recieved blood stool and urine test for my severe diahrrea. Turns out I had giardia. They gave me IV treatment and I was feeling so much better in a day! Nice facilities. Although I couldn't get the hot water to work I used the old bucket shower (used to it anyways from all the traveling). They offer meals too if you're admitted. Wonderful staff all around. And they'll help you with your insurance claims to make sure you have what you need!

My experience in the Medicare hospital couldnt have been better! I had IV for two days and the medicine worked very well. Doctor Mukesh was kind and secured me that I was going to be okay and Sunil took care of me so good! He is a really sweet, caring and happy person. They make sure you get enough food and water/tea and are willing to help you 24 hours a day.

This place is no good- not a true hospital. They tried to charge 70 USD for a "consultation" to look at a skin infection on my hand. Charging "foreigner prices" at a clinic is shameful and unethical- better to go to a true hospital or pharmacy for treatment.

For the insurances, it's a a hospital for travellers so they deal with them every time and so they will give you everything (papers) so that you can claim to your insurance with no problem. I've been recover here for 5 days for dengue fever. Excellent service and assistants, they are really kind, gentle and competent! They make me a proper treatment! Everything I was needed I had only to ask! Room are really clean and confortable, I felt like home! Food was delicious! For sure really better then local hospital that is more chaotic and dirty! Excellent service. I was a walk-in, the staff (including the doctor) were extremely friendly and accommodating, the Dr took me right back to his office for a consultation, and then went out himself to a local hospital to obtain a specialized medicine that I needed, and was able to secure and provide them to me that very same day. They are warm and caring people (they even take donations for locals that cannot afford health care, so that they can provide it to them). They are only a few minute walk up from the "Lakeside" in Pokhara (though still technically in the Lakeside neighborhood), east on "Phewa Marga" a main road, if not the main road, to and from the lake shore. I believe they are also significantly less expensive than the other traveller oriented clinics that are closer to the tourist hub, so worth the short walk-no waiting, great service. Highly recommended!

I came to the clinic with some severe gastroenteritis. I also had fatigue and dehydration as I had just finished a tour of the Annapurnas. I was able to see Dr Mukesh Malik without booking an appointment and he was extremely nice, professional, and spoke good English. I ended up having to spend the night at the clinic and I required two days of intravenous antibiotics. The nurses at the clinic were very kind and made sure that I was confortable during my stay. I came in with stomach issues, problems breathing and a bad tick bite. You feel like you actually bother the doctor, I called beforehand and made an appointment, yet when I arrived I was told that the doctor is not around and they have to call him to come. The prizing is completely over the top compared for the "care" you get in return. Payed 70$ just for a five minutes of the doctor checking my stomach and throat, all my concerns were basically brushed off. I got antibiotic lyme disease, except for there's no lyme disease in Nepal. They didn't bother to take blood samples or literally anything. I had to go to another hospital to get proper treatment as the medication I got here made everything only worse and the tickbite medicine has a lot of side effects they don't even bother informing you about. Definitely would recommend you to stay away from this place and visit a proper hospital instead.

For me, they went way above and beyond expectations. I came in with a bacterial infection on my elbow which required me to be hospitalized. They spoke good English, and made working with my insurance as easy as possible. After a few days, it was clear that my infection was more serious than originally expected, and I had to transfer to a larger, better equipped hospital. They even helped with this process also, giving me a ride there and even going so far as to try to help me deal with insurance paperwork at the new hospital, at no profit to themselves. The whole time here I was treated like family. Just amazing hospitality for a foreigner, again way above what I would have expected.

I was really surprised how well the doctors English was and how kind and helpful he was. He asked alot of questions to really understand what my issue was and took alot of time to examine my body. He even did a stool and blood test to check that the bacteria didn't get in my blood circulation and to find out how bad the infection was. I ended up with antibiotics due to a lung and stomach infection. I trusted the doctor's assumption and felt really well and comfortable being there. I went back once to ask and get something else checked and all the medication and following treatments are included in the price. I recommend going there.

Within a few hours I had a diagnosis and medication and started to feel better soon after taking the tablets. They use new packaged needles if taking blood. The overall cost for me (consulation, tests, medication) was 110 USD but they give paperwork and can help you claim it back on travel insurance. This is a safe and efficient place to visit for anyone who is ill in Pokhara.
