It's not just a regular station, it's a mega station contains 10 platforms. They did a good job at building the borivali station The first 3 platforms ..1,2,3 are on west side in a row. This station is well maintained even if the station is mostly crowded. There are escalotors on most of the platforms and with the maintenance

Very big station. It is a junction for mail trains. It is very crowded station but I like the station. You get everything just outside the railway station. There is a big municipal market opposite the station. There is also a shopping mall opposite station. You get different types of street food outside the station.

Borivali Station, located in the bustling suburb of Borivali in Mumbai, is undeniably one of the most important and busiest railway stations in the city. Having recently visited the station, I would like to share my experience and provide an overview of its various aspects. Accessibility and Connectivity: One of the standout features of Borivali Station is its exceptional accessibility and connectivity. Situated on the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway, it serves as a major junction connecting various parts of Mumbai, making it convenient for both local and long-distance travel. The station also has excellent bus and auto-rickshaw connectivity, making it easy to reach and navigate. Infrastructure and Facilities: Borivali Station boasts a well-maintained and organized infrastructure. The station premises are spacious and equipped with a range of facilities to cater to the needs of commuters. Clean and well-lit platforms, escalators, and elevators ensure ease of movement, particularly for senior citizens and passengers with heavy luggage. The availability of ample seating arrangements is another positive aspect, providing a comfortable waiting experience. Shopping and Dining Options: The station complex hosts a variety of shops, kiosks, and food stalls that offer a decent selection of products and snacks. From books and magazines to grab-and-go food items, there is a fair choice available for commuters to browse or grab a quick bite while waiting for their trains. However, the variety could be further improved to cater to different preferences and tastes. Safety and Security: Borivali Station places significant emphasis on the safety and security of its passengers. The presence of visible security personnel and CCTV surveillance helps create a sense of security for commuters. Additionally, the station has implemented measures to regulate crowd movement during peak hours, ensuring a smooth and orderly experience for travelers. Timeliness and Information: Like any other busy railway station, Borivali Station faces challenges related to timeliness and overcrowding during rush hours. However, the station authorities have made efforts to address these concerns by regularly updating commuters about train schedules and delays through information boards and announcements. There is also a dedicated inquiry counter that offers assistance to passengers with queries and concerns. Overall Experience: Borivali Station undoubtedly serves as a significant transportation hub, catering to the needs of a vast number of daily commuters. Its convenient location, excellent connectivity, and decent facilities make it a preferred choice for both local and long-distance travel. While there is room for improvement in terms of shopping and dining options, the station's focus on safety, cleanliness, and infrastructure maintenance is commendable. Whether you are a regular commuter or a traveler passing through Mumbai, Borivali Station offers a functional and hassle-free experience, making it an essential part of the city's transportation network.

Borivali Railway Station has its upsides and downsides. On the positive side, it's a bustling station with frequent train services, making it easy to get around Mumbai. The station is reasonably clean, and you can find a range of food stalls and vendors nearby, which is convenient for grabbing a quick bite while waiting for your train. Additionally, Borivali Station is well-connected to other parts of the city, making it a central hub for commuters. However, one of the downsides is the rush during peak hours. The station can get incredibly crowded, making it a bit challenging to navigate, especially if you're carrying heavy luggage. Another drawback is the lack of adequate seating, which can be uncomfortable for passengers, particularly those with long waiting times. Additionally, while cleanliness is generally maintained, some areas could benefit from more regular maintenance. In terms of safety, Borivali Station is relatively secure, but like any busy station, passengers should remain cautious about their belongings. The station also lacks sufficient signages and information boards, which can make it confusing for newcomers. In conclusion, Borivali Railway Station is a bustling transportation hub with both positive and negative aspects. It offers convenience in terms of connectivity and food options but can be overly crowded and could use improvements in terms of seating, cleanliness, and signage for a more comfortable and user-friendly experience.

The railway station offers a seamless travel experience with its clean and well-maintained facilities. The staff is helpful, and the signage is clear, making navigation easy. However, more seating options and improved amenities would enhance the overall comfort for passengers. The timely departure and arrival of trains contribute to the station's efficiency.

For a principal hub Borivali station has improved a lot and has yet to improve a lot more! Could do with more elevators, dedicated platform for outstation trains, wheelchair accessibility and cleanliness.

My recent visit to Borivali Station was a mixed experience. The station is one of the busiest in Mumbai, and it shows - the crowds and noise can be overwhelming. However, the station is well-connected to other parts of the city and has a good selection of shops and food stalls. I was able to find everything I needed, from snacks and drinks to souvenirs and clothing. The station also offers a range of services, including ticketing and information desks, which were helpful in navigating the busy crowds. On the downside, the station could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness. The platforms were littered with trash and the bathrooms were in need of attention. Additionally, the station can be difficult to navigate for first-time visitors, with confusing signage and a lack of clear directions. Overall, I would recommend Borivali Station for its convenience and range of services, but it falls short in terms of cleanliness and ease of navigation. 3 stars.

Improved a lot in last few years, entrance and exits are much better with good bus accessibility on Eastern side. Only concern is about narrow and limited exits from platform no 1 and 2. Otherwise even my overseas colleagues were surprised to see the accessibility and punctuality of trains they said its even better than German train punctuality

One of the major & busiest stations in Mumbai . 1&2 platforms (Churchgate slow trains) are at one side(west side) & remaining all are other side , which is difficult to know for the new passengers. Halt for many express trains , fast trains too.
