    Excellent location for bird watching. It is located 100 kms from Pune city on Pune Solapur highway. Kumbhar gaon village next to bhigwan city is where you can hire a boat and go deep inside to observe various birds. During December to February many migratory birds can be seen. Flamingo birds is the main attraction here. Local villagers provides stay, all day meals at competitive price.

    Must visit for bird watching, bird photography. Highly recommended to visit at early morning time, we have a very beautiful sunrise from the lake. Amazing view from the lake, a must visit with kids as well..

    Good exposure to rare birds.. worth a visit, for children but also adults. You need a boat ride to see the flamingos.
