Was hearing a lot about this place so went there to give it a try. And these are my thoughts Ambience: the whole place is so beautifully designed with esthetic interiors. The got outdoor seating, indoors, rooftop etc. Loved the selection of colors. Drinks: I had a old fashioned, and the bartender showed off his skills. Which is always an eye candy to watch Food: started off with some -dumpling soups - yum yum (clear and subtle in flavor) - chicken Dumplings: they just gave 6 & I wanted more - Fried rice: thank god at least some place they make fried rice with sticky rice - Sushi: the craftsmanship is too good Over all a very beautiful place with come with family, friends and dates. Prices are little expensive but it’s justifiable with service and the ambience they provide.

After hearing lots of positive reviews about this place and also being a big fan of Japanese cuisine we went here on a Friday evening. The ambience is amazing especially the open space when we went there it started raining and the place became even more beautiful. The uramaki sushi was fantastic and the cocktails were also well balanced. We tried a few other appetizers and all the dishes were good the sauces in the main course udon noodles were a bit overpowering and best was they had a mochi icecream in desserts which was very good. The service is very good fast and attentive. Overall we had a very good evening except the main course. We would be visiting the place often.

Let me start by saying how pleasing the staff was.... given the ambience and service was easily a 5star for me. There's outdoor seating and indoor and upstairs too. We took time to choose and the staff dint rush us in which I liked. Opted for outdoor and we loved it. If anyone's familiar with kavannah and the tree it had.... the tree is still there. This place comes from the house of Tigerlilly bistro with expansive menu. For food we had sushi - prawn tempura uramaki which is my fav and this place dint disappoint. Would have loved if pickled ginger was served too. I liked how the staff was willing to explain to my guests. They did forget to bring sushi early on, had to be reminded. No problem there. For starter we did have Fiery Chicken, which is a must try here. Spicy, yes but must try. Soba noodles was sweet and salty yet mild went well specially since we had a kid along. Singaporean Chicken curry ( yellow) with sticky jasmine rice.... curry was intense on flavour, sweet was little overpowering. Commend the staff again for the recommendations and service.Next time for desserts!

Six of us visited Taro for a work dinner on a weekday evening. Locating the restaurant isn't difficult as it is on the main road though some use of Google Maps may be recommended if you're not familiar with the Hills localities and it's shortcuts. Parking wouldn't be a problem since Taro provides a valet service. The restaurant certainly looks nice done from outside. As you enter, you'll find a superb well done, spacious setup adorned with several plants and indoor trees. Seating is offered as a combination of both under-lit outdoors and bright indoors. We picked the outdoors and were glad that the pleasant music that was playing was adequate to mask road noise. Not surprisingly, the restaurant barely had guests as it was a Wednesday evening. So the whole open space was ours to enjoy! The wait staff put together a couple of tables for us and were prompt. We spent a good three hours having all sorts of conversations and never getting distracted except for when we had to interact with staff or be served. For the price of dishes on their menu, they should also be explaining the menu, explaining the dish being served, etc. I also did not like that guests were being allowed to smoke at their tables as it forces people nearby to become passive smokers. The food menu by itself is pretty Asian cuisine driven and fairly complete. However, the prices of each dish were nothing short of ridiculously expensive. While quality was great, the quantity wasn't sufficient to justify the 20-30pc premium on each dish. If you're okay to pay the premium - go for the spicy Kung pao chicken, the sweet cottage cheese bites, their dimsums, butter garlic prawn. You won't be able to find faults per se, they all taste well but like I said - portions will run out quickly especially as a group. Bottom-line: Head to Taro if you care about having a good time as a group and you're billing your company, or if you're a relatively modest eater who will be okay with an appetiser, main course and dessert. That will cost you close to 1800 INR. The ambience is good for couples on dates, so maybe worth it for a special day?

Menu- has asian and Japanese dishes, veg has limited but decent options. Ambience- makes u feel relax and comfortable, nice light music with dim lights and comfortable chairs. The price menu looks a little over priced but for the overall experience I would still rate it as 5 star

This is a top pick if you are in search of a Premium Pan Asian experience! Located in the heart of Jubilee Hills, surrounded by some of the best restaurants & breweries in town, this place still stands out for its approach to Pan Asian delicacies! The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating options each giving a comfortable vibe in their own way. After treating yourselves with a sumptuous meal here, do save up a little appetite for the Japanese Ice Cream which is a must try here!

Impressed by Taro's Quick Service and Amazing Taste I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the swift and efficient service that Taro provided. The speed with which they attended to customers was truly remarkable. What impressed me even more was that despite the quick service, the quality and taste of the food remained exceptional. It's not often that you find a restaurant where speed doesn't compromise flavor, but Taro managed to strike the perfect balance. Each dish I tried was full of incredible flavors that left me craving for more. The menu at Taro offers a diverse range of pan asian options, and I found it challenging to choose just one dish. However, every selection I made exceeded my expectations. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was visually appealing. It was evident that the chefs at Taro take pride in their culinary creations. Moreover, the waitstaff at Taro were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to accommodate any special requests or inquiries, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that not only provides quick service but also delivers exceptional taste, I highly recommend Taro. Whether you're a fan of traditional dishes or looking to explore new flavors, Taro has something to satisfy every palate. I left Taro feeling not only satisfied but also impressed with the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Taro is a hidden gem that blends quick service with outstanding taste. The combination of their efficient service, delectable dishes, and welcoming ambiance creates an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to visit Taro again and indulge in their culinary delights.

Exquisite Japanese & Oriental Menu Taro has a really interesting menu with lots of Asian food options but with a slight Indian fusion to suit local palate. I’ve tried multiple things the two times I’ve been here, nothing disappoints. Some of the highlights I would ordered again Sushi, Chicken Bao, Fried rice and gin cocktails. Ambience - 5/5 Cost - 4/5 Service - 5/5 I would recommend this place for a sit down dinner or date night!

This restaurant deserves the rating. We have visited it on the day they launched their sunday brunch menu. Which was 3k per head. Totally worth it considering the amount food we had. Cus its unlimited. The service is just marvelous. Hats off to Avinash for fabulous serving. He was pleased to see us enjoy the food and offered 4 small drinks on house. We didn't get a proper seat and were at the bar stand. Loved the experience. Definitely a must visit Pan-Asian restaurant in Hyderabad.

Ambience is decent and good. Top pro tip: visit this place only if you are a pure ASIAN food fan. They don’t have anything out of ASIAN and PAN ASIAN. You literally can’t eat any dish out of this food type. Also prices too high… but why? All good items start from 400+…have eaten in many premium lounges and cuisines. But wouldn’t this visit this place again. P.S: I would never prefer a big set up like these with only one food type with no other alternatives

I recently dined at one of the best Asian restaurants I've ever experienced. The authenticity of the cuisine was outstanding; it felt like a genuine Asian culinary journey, even in India. The flavors were true to the culture, making it a unique and delightful dining experience. The cocktails served were a highlight. They were not only delicious but also creatively crafted, adding a unique twist to the meal. The combination of excellent food and impressive drinks made the dining experience truly memorable. The restaurant's ambience was equally noteworthy. The setting was inviting and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. It provided a perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. Their attentiveness added a personal touch to the dining experience. In conclusion, this Asian restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and delightful culinary adventure. It offers a genuine taste of Asian cuisine, fantastic cocktails, a great ambiance, and a warm and friendly staff. I highly recommend it to all food enthusiasts.

The food was pretty nice, the dumplings and Sushi were really nice and I'd recommend those. The Bao also looked really appetizing. Their service was pretty quick and the vibe of the place was really nice. I personally liked the appetizers more than my main course of Salmon, the fish was nice but the flavour of those veggies didn't work with it. I'd suggest going for a different main course like rice or noodles based one as they're more popular. The drinks were decent, we went with a Whiskey Sour and a Fiery Berry (their recommendation) but it wasn't anything special. It's definitely worth visiting for asian cuisine. Although it did cost almost 6000 (incl service charge) for two of us for the entire thing.

As food trends emerge and adapt to diner tastes, competition and experimentation in the industry, many phrases are thrown around to describe the food you will encounter in restaurants. This can often leave many diners puzzled about what they are really ordering. Discerning diners are always looking for a little something extra — variety, creativity, and unexpected items on a menu. In the world of Asian cooking, the canvas is large. Pan-Asian encompasses unique dishes from different cultures, you are likely to find a spicy curry dish from rural Southern India, pork, rice, and vegetable dish from Vietnam, and a traditional Chinese rice and shrimp dish, all offered on the same menu. With true justice being done to the Pan-Asian fare, Taro has been picking up the likes of the diners in Hyderabad for all the right reasons. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very appealing to the eye, setting the perfect backdrop for your Insta captures. Their Ala Carte menu is an extensive one, which offers the Diners to expand their cuisine horizons far beyond the usual picks. Onto the soup, Spicy Dumping, a pot soup with Veg dumpling boiled in Corn, Spring Onion & vegetables; comfort food at the best. From the appetizers, my top picks would be Sichuan Kung Pao Chicken, Fire Cracker Chongqing Chicken, Crispy Congee Lamb & Rock Shrimp Tempura. From the Baos, Sweet Pork Sheng Jian Bun, Chicken, and Asparagus Cheung Fun, Mushroom Cheung Fun are something you shouldn't miss out on, exotic elements well fused in every dish. From the Sushi bar section, Rainbow Roll, Aburi Salmon, Urumaki California Roll, Prawn Tempura, and Sake Maki were sampled in, undoubtedly the best in the town when it comes to hand-rolled Sushi in various formats. The diners get to choose from Gunkan, Urumaki, Nigiri, Tataki & couple more to add on. The showstopper has to be their Taro Special Sushi & Sashimi Boat, comprising of Sashimis, Nigiris & Sushi rolls, crafted from the Chef's arsenal. A recommended pick if you are pairing with folks who are in the lookout for Salmon & Sushi with no fuss, probably a group of more than 5-6 pax can opt for it.

TL;DR amazing food, great desserts (know what you’re ordering though), and excellent staff. Have been here twice so far and had 2 completely different experiences. The first time, went out with friends for just desserts. The chocolate dynamite was really good, but the other 2 (Japanese cheesecake and Shibuya toast) were really underwhelming to the point where we actually didn’t finish them. Maybe we didn’t order the right stuff, because we had completely different expectations. The second visit was with my family (group of 4) and this time, we ordered a bunch of starters, and everything was amazing! As was the service. The staff recommended dishes and were very patient and courteous. My favourites were crispy lamb congee, chongqing chicken (authentic and fire cracker), chicken satay (the best I’ve had anywhere so far), and prawn tempura uramaki (regular and wasabi, yes those are 2 separate dishes). We also got corn tempura and broccoli teriyaki, which my family really liked (not much of a vegetarian lover myself). The Australian lamb chops were decent. By the time we were done with the appetisers, we didn’t have any room for mains, which we had ordered already. So beat this! The waiter came over and told us that he didn’t place the order for the main course because he knew we’d be full as we ordered a lot of appetisers. I mean, I’ve never experienced that anywhere. Props to the guy for exemplary service. We still got one main, the Singapore chicken curry rice, which was essentially Thai red curry, and it was literally heavenly! Despite being almost full, we finished it. It was that good. For dessert, we ordered just one chocolate dynamite, which was really good as well. Overall, my 2nd experience completely changed my perception of the place and I’m definitely going back here and would highly recommend it.

The five treasure glass dumplings were okayish, spicy prawn beetroot dumplings were delicious and the best, salmon expression roll were too good, the fries were above average, and the drinks were top notch. Overall the food was wholesome, the service can be better as they tend to forget their customers time to time. But they were always polite and helped me with my weird colourful choices. :)

If you are looking for a pan Asian restaurant you should definitely check out TARO they have a fantastic atmosphere both outdoor as well as indoor. They serve a wide array of mouthwatering Asia cuisine. Although they are specialised in delicious food they're deserts are absolutely scrumptious. I have tried almost all the deserts here and would definitely visit again especially for the deserts.
