Its a beautiful trek don’t go with your elderly family members or kids also wont be able to trek the steep slopes Also visit around the day because it’s wonderful and safe. Don’t visit when its turning dark or early morning or you may bump into to wild animals and then you know what happens😉. Also get some food with you and good shoes with good grip are recommended. Usually for me who has very less trekking experience, I and some local people went for the trekking around 7.30 in the morning and it took 1 hour to complete and reach the top which is around 3 kms from the road. They photos says it all

This trek is the best part of Nainital. It is of 3kms long and usually takes 1.5-2 hrs to reach the top and around 1 hr to come back for a normal person. We visited this place when we hired a scooty (Activa 6g @Rs 600 per day). I would recommend to reach the starting point of the Naina peak trek by scooty only and not paid taxi. The road is really good and it is located around 7-8 kms from Mallital, Nainital. The view is breathtaking once you reach the top. I would rate this trek as easy trek. Things to note while doing Naina peak trek 1. Reach the starting point via bike 2. Keep atleast 1 bottle of water per person 3. Have some light snacks like biscuits, juice, chocolate, etc with you (Discard them properly after use in bin only) 4. Do the trek slowly and it would take approx. 2hrs if you walk with ease. 5. Take small stops rather than going at once and exhausting yourself. 6. Enjoy the view once you are doing. It would really feel like an accomplishment 😊😇

Naina Peak, located in Nainital, is a spectacular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. This location is a must-see because of the breathtaking Himalayan panorama and the thrilling trekking options it offers. From the peak, you have a breathtaking view of Nainital Lake and the city below. Naina Peak will leave you in awe of Mother Nature's majesty with its unspoiled natural beauty and breathtaking perspectives.

It's a 3 km long trek to reach the top..way to peak is very tough as there is no proper road..keep yourself hydrated through out the journey..it takes approx 1:30 to 2 hours to reach the top. Wear sports or trekking shoes as the path is very bad. But once you reach the top you will find the view worth and mesmerizing. However there is nothing to do at the top but admiring the view and peaceful aura is totally worth. One of the must do for adventure lovers in naninital.

Awesome experience it was atop the peak. The climb is some 3 Km long and takes approx. 1.5 to 2 hours to complete for beginners. The descent is steep at some places while almost flat at some places. There is no settlement along the trek, so please bring ample water and snacks. There is a receiving station of Indian Govt. at the peak. The people stationed there are kind and you can order some tea and maggi. The view from the top is simply breathtaking. A clear blue lake surrounded by hills. On a clear day it will be an awesome view. You can also visit the place in evening and have a beautiful view of town of Nainital shimmering with light!! Overall, a must visit if you are there in Nainital.

See, the hike/ trek is not an easy one, you have to carry your belongings carefully, what can be needed and what not, plus, if there's snow then expect a slippery slide slope, so carry your items/gears according to that. Note- Please don't use bt speakers as it's a bird reserve and by sounds they get affected, rather than cherish the silence of the heights and the nature trail.

Naina Peak is a popular tourist destination located in Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. This stunning peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, forests, and lakes, making it a must-visit spot for anyone visiting the area. The trek to the peak is challenging but incredibly rewarding, and the panoramic views from the summit are simply spectacular. The climb is approximately 6 km one way and usually takes about 2-3 hours to complete. It is advisable to bring your own water as there are no available sources of water along the route, except for the top of the climb.

It is located on Pangot road. You have to trek 3.5kms to reach. Very beautiful location. Its 8622ft above sea level. You can enjoy the complete view of Nainital lake from above.

Naina Peak was previously known as CHEENA PEAK… During our childhood we used to think China’s peakis visible from there…. But it was not true.. Cheena Peak is known as their is a temple known as Cheena Baba… The trail is around 3 Kms .. trek is easy & beginners can go… please carry umbrella or raincoat as you never know when it can rain/snow… carry drinking water also… It’s 8 kms from Nainital Mall Road… There is a check post of Forest Dept. where u can park your vehicle. Small tea shop is available where all stuff like Tea, Coffee , Maggie, Chips, Drinking Waters etc are available… Must visit place for Mesmer view of Naini Jheel & whole of Nanital… Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️

The Naina peak trek is so beautiful, on trek you can enjoy bird watching. If you take mountain trek road you found your self lost with the nature.you found yourself in clouds and feel the fresh air there.Mesmerizing lake view, Whole Nainital view from the top .But we humans are making every place dirty, on the top there are bottles, wrappers and so much garbage was thrown by the tourists which was really disappointing.
