The stay at Paro Village Home Stay was amazing and unforgettable. Kind of hospitality extended by host Mr. Mongol was like a family right from the time we arrived at their Home stay with warmth and extending help in getting us comfortable from the outside cold. Also, the rooms were exactly same as posted on the website, neat and beautiful. Mrs. Mongol is extremely kind and generous lady, she cooked for us Bhutanese cuisine which were delicious and made with natural bio organic sources. The view the guests room to outside is great scenery, where one would always want to get up and look up to, while sipping hot Bhutanese tea. Both Mr. and Mrs. Mongol were great hosts and made our stay worth awhile to which we are greatly thankful.

Great place to stay! Worth every penny spent. Perfect location with a nice view and the best part- it's close to the airport. The host Nima and his family never hesitated to go out of their way to provide the best of services. They've been extremely approachable and friendly. During my stay here, I experienced Bhutan at its best.

Unforgettable organic homestay! Every aspect of the Mongols’ home has been created and shared with love. From the picturesque setting to their beautifully decorated home, delicious organic cooking, and hot stone bath with a view, the Mongols enriched my experience with their enthusiasm, warmth and sincere interest in spending time getting to know me. I could not recommend their homestay more highly to travelers who want to experience Bhutanese home life and stay in a uniquely gorgeous home. I look forward to returning myself.

A beautiful home stay! Perfect place to experience the local Bhutanese culture and cuisine. Safe for girls and solo travellers. The best thing about this place is the family. They are very warm and welcoming and they'll make sure that you have a great stay.

Fantastic views, warm hospitality and lovely decor. We experienced hot stone baths and a campfire, and our hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Guests stay on the second level of the home with a dedicated dining area and lounge with potbelly fire Rooms have ensuite toilets but there is a shared shower which is clean and hot. Breakfast included but you pay for extras like dinner or hot stone baths (fair enough, it is a lot of work to make). I was travelling with my 11 year old daughter and we really enjoyed our relaxing stay.

Homestay with excellent view and hospitality. We booked a cottage for a family of 4. The cottage had 2 bedrooms and a living room and a well equipped kitchenette. Here is a breakdown of our one night stay at the property. Location: its located on a east facing hill with a beautiful view of the valley, even though it was winter. I bet it looks even more gorgeous when all of those apple trees in front of the house is in full bloom or fruiting. The grounds: The homestay consists of a traditional 2 storied home, and cottages. You have to walk past the traditonal house and beautiful well kept KOI pond to get to the cottage. Cottages: each cottage comes with 1 room with double bed, the second bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a living area with a kitechentte. The living room has a fireplace, which the owners start as soon as the sun goes down. There are heaters in the room along with ample blankets to keep you warm at night. The kitchenette is well equipped with an induction stove, microwave, water filter, fridge, and other kitchen utensils including wine glasses. Each room has comes with a well equipped toilet and bathroom. Food: our package was inclusive of dinner and breakfast. The dinner was a delicious fare of red rice, beef paa, kewa datshi and jaju. Since our stay coincided with their annual choeku, we were treated to delicious thueb (rice porridge) in the morning which was followed by another sumptous breakfast comprising of red rice, mushroom datshi, and pork curry, suja, and O-ja. The owners were graciously invited us to stay for lunch too, which we declined, politely. Hot stone bath: The property also offers hotstone bath at an additional cost. However, we didn't get to use it at the property since one of the owners wasn't feeling well. But they promptly arranged for a hot stone at a nearby place. They were even able to use their connections to negotiate the price and make reservations for us. We were very thankful for that. Ease of booking: we called the number that was on their fb page and the cottage was booked. Communication: the owners were very responsive to calls and texts, ready to help with everything. They equally polite, welcoming, and helpful in person too. Checking in and out: checking in was swift. There was no paperwork required, since we were locals. It was follwed by hot steaming milk tea (o -ja), which i guess was the welcome tea. Checking out comprised of completing the payment and vacating the rooms. We enjoyed our stay here, the kids felt at home here. I highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway with family or friends. We hope to come back soon.

If you want to experience Bhutanese lifestyle and cuisine, then this place is a must stay. This place is not exactly in the Paro town, by car it's only 15 minutes away. Situated on higher level, it boasts the wonderful view of the paddy fields and gives you the opportunity to experience a beautiful sunrise. The property is quite huge with the guests being accommodated on the second floor which has 3 bedrooms and 2 halls. The rooms are cozy and every room gives you different views of the valley or Mini Tiger's Nest (Dzongdrakha). They provide fully Bhutanese cuisine for meals. But you will get different options for breakfast. So if anyone is very finicky about food and is not a fan of Bhutanese cuisine, might face a problem. This problem persists across Bhutan. However, hey, you are in a new country, so why just don't keep your taste buds aside and go experience something different. The owner Nima Singye and his wife Tshering are wonderful hosts (Tshering is a great cook). I stayed there for 4 days and they treated me and my friends as members only, they even let us use their kitchen as well. Mr. Nima is a well informed person who can guide you very well while you are travelling to Bhutan. So if you are planning your travel, then you should contact him and he can give you a well chalked out itinerary. However the stars of the family are their sons, Yamu and Yambe. They are quite the entertainers and very welcoming (despite their young age). In a nutshell, you will not regret staying with them. I enjoyed my stay there, had great conversations with the hosts and learned a lot about their culture and traditions from them.

Located a little far from the Paro town, this homestay has an amazing view to the village and airport. You can come here to experience the real beauty of bhutan. Rooms are very cozy and the hosts Nima sir and Tshring di are very friendly. You get to taste the authentic Bhutanese food too. The surroundings are very calm and peaceful and they connect you to the real nature . I would recommend, to the people visiting Paro, to experience this serenity for atleast a day.

The rooms are really spacious and extremely clean. The bathrooms are big too and hygienic. The view from the home stay is amazing! Tucked away from the city and yet not so far. The host prepared very homely Bhutanese food and it was delicious. We felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a one near to Paro town :)

During my recent 10-day stay in Bhutan, I had the pleasure of experiencing the warmth of staying at the Paro Village View homestay . The owner, a delightful host, played a pivotal role in making our visit memorable. Her genuine hospitality went beyond the ordinary, from preparing delicious meals to joining us on explorations when her schedule allowed. The homestay itself reflects her dedication, being immaculately maintained and exceptionally neat. It served as a comfortable retreat after our adventures in the beautiful surroundings of Paro. What stood out most was the owner's willingness to accommodate our requests, always welcoming us with a warm smile. The constant communication and the touch of local flavor made it feel like a true Bhutanese home. If you're seeking a home away from home in Bhutan, I wholeheartedly recommend this charming haven.

Village View Homestay,Paro is a little over a 15 minute drive from Paro Town on the way to Chelala Pass and Haa Valley. The cottages are big and spacious and very clean. Each cottage has a common area with a small kitchen, fridge, toaster, kettle. The owner of the homestay,Mrs.Tshering is a very cheerful and jovial lady who will treat you to some delicious Bhutanese delicacies. The view from the Homestay is absolutely stunning . I would strongly recommend the homestay to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway and looking to experience the authentic Bhutanese lifestyle.
