It was the pinnacle of our trip to Bhutan. It was a few hours of moderate trekking, climbing stairs, walking. Beginners can also do it with a few breaks, a little bit of determination and enthusiasm. The scenery around the trekking path was other wordly. It's been 5years since I was in Bhutan and I still think of it fondly. I'd go back again without a second thought. Here, nature feels spiritual.

A must visit on your trip to Bhutan. The hike is moderate to difficult and can be completed in 3.5 hours approximately. Better to start early and take you own sweet time to reach the temple. There's a cafe at half point where you can take snacks or restroom break, they also serve lunch. Tiger's Nest is definitely worth visiting. An experience of a lifetime😀

One of the best place in Bhutan, Paro. Have to hike 5kms one way to reach this awesome place and 10kms both ways, one of the best experience ever. Awesome nature view, temperature keeps dropping while we go up. Terrain is too steep in some parts of the way and there a restaurant in mid way for refreshments but too expensive. Overall a very great experience. Can hire horse ride for half way distance it's cost NU 2000 plus both ways if one can't climb the hills and entry fees is NU 1000 for the Tigers Nest. Cameras and mobile phones not allowed inside the Tigers Nest and to keep them the locker which is at the entrance of the Temple.

Trek through the forest and the final part with stairs is a bit tough both ways. Great energy inside. To enjoy the trek and the monastery one must start early

Well, the top most place to visit in Bhutan. It's a trek, a basic simple one with steps to climb. Make an early start to return back on time. Magnificent view from the top, it has 7 temples at the top and ancient history attached to it. Took 6 hrs for ascend/descend, basic fitness 2oukd be good to avoid tiredness..
