I stayed here for 2 nights, solo and it was a wonderful stay! The accommodation was excellent in terms of service, cleanliness and convenience too. A lift is available to use if stairs aren't your thing. The room was well equipped and clean with good amenities. I have nothing but praise for the service provided by all the staff. Besides the service, the food & views from the room were also great! From the front desk to the restaurant and the GM, everyone was so warm, kind and responsive. Definitely on my list of accommodations to return to for Thimphu.

I absolutely loved staying for two weeks at Bhutan Peaceful Residency and Spa. As a volunteer doctor from Australia, I was so impressed with the beautiful, quiet rooms and the spacious brand new bathroom . The bedding was crispy, white and clean every day and the helpful staff were amazingly kind and drove me to the hospital every day for work. I’ll definitely be back next year to stay at Peaceful where the double glazed windows allowed me to sleep soundly every night, and the room service was a delight each morning. The hot showers and great water pressure was another bonus. Thank you so much for everything you did to make my stay incredibly comfortable, including the spiced apple tea on arrival - yum!

I loved my trip to Bhutan. All of the places I stayed were lovely but this place was special. I was in a beautiful setting, it was new and beautifully decorated and furnished. The restaurant looked out on a gorgeous natural wooded mountain setting. The spa was incredible and the service impeccable. The food was also very good. I loved this hotel stay.

One of the best Residency. Friendly staff, yummy food and beautiful place. Not only the name peaceful but entire place is peaceful as no sound are heard. All the rooms are sound proof. The travellers who visit and stay here will never regret. One of the best place. Located in the midst of Beautiful forest. You can see the beautiful views from hotel window. And very reasonable price.

Fittings in the bathroom are loose. Even the electricity fittings are loose. At night when you put the heater on, there is no circulation of air. Hence feel suffocated.

Beautiful hotel with a modern look and amenities. The only negative aspect is that the parking space is congested including the narrow approach road.

This hotel is new, modern and well appointed. The staff is excellent, very professional and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. WIFI is perfect throughout. The on-premise restaurant and bar is exceptional. There is a full-service spa with spacious sauna facilities - great after a day of sightseeing or trekking. Large well equipped conference room for the business minded guest. Handled all of our sightseeing and trekking needs thru their in-house tour company - Bhutan Peaceful Tours and Treks. Book with them and you will have the Bhutan experience of your dreams.

Having a reasonably good hotel in small places like capital city of Bhutan, Thimpu is luxury. Bhutan Peaceful Residency and Spa though a small property, is newly constructed and is neat and clean and staff on duty is polite! Buffet dinner and breakfast is just OK, nothing special to mention. The spa has got good Wi-Fi connection but it is located far away from the main town!!! Stay and enjoy…

I have returned this week from a wonderful 2.5 weeks touring in western Bhutan. Having stayed in 4 Bhutenese hotels during my tour (all of which were three star hotels), without question this hotel was clearly superior to the others. The hotel's up-to-the-minute design and construction (it opened in late 2022), beautiful mountain outlook, luxurious furnishings, superbly comfortable bed, double glazed windows, superior quality room and facilities such as high speed WiFi, TV, laundry service (including the best shower I have experienced in hotels), a wide range of delicious food provided, friendly and attentive service, were all in keeping with the standards we are accustomed to in Western countries. (I would give it a 4 - 4.5 star rating). The staff were so helpful at all times, even late at night. Their attention to detail enabled me to feel at home and at ease throughout my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stay here if you are visiting Thimphu.

I was part of a nine person group visiting from the US. We were greeted at the airport by HB, owner of Bhutan Peaceful Residency and Spa and Bhutan Peaceful Tours and Treks. HB and his team provided us an incredible experience, starting with a short stay in Paro, then the 5 day Dagala Thousands Lakes hike. HB provided exceptional service and support along the whole trek, from full meals, hot tea and dessert each day under tents with folding chairs. Even lunches on the trail included hot teas and a small dessert, at 14,000 ft elevation! The crew was attentive to our every need, even providing us with hot water bottles at night to warm our sleeping bags. HB accompanied us on this entire 5 day hike and then guided us along a tour of cultural sites in Thimpu. Even cold beer was provided. All of this wonderful service was delivered with the most polite and courteous attitudes we have ever experienced on such an outing. The warm and caring nature of HB and his entire team on the hike and and his staff at the hotel brought our experience to a new level. Speaking of the hotel, we were quite surprised at the modernity and cleanliness of the building and facilities. Wet spas were available as well as full body massages, a welcome treat when we returned from the trek. The food was also excellent, and Mrs HB even went to lengths to accommodate a special request for an ethnic meal. For the ladies, I'd like to mention that the toilet paper in the hotel was of a high quality, another surprise. I highly recommend booking your next visit to Bhutan with HB and his wonderful crew.

Stayed in this hotel through my tour agency. Very quiet place. Room is very clean and provides all the essentials that you would need. Location is not so convenient. Even my local driver got abit lost...
