While talking about authentic Bhutanese dishes, FNB restaurant is the first place that comes to my mind. If you happen to visit the place, I recommend you to try shakam ezay and sikam datsi. They also serve Indian and Thai delicacies. It’s a great place for a family outing or a get-together with friends.

They serve traditional Bhutanese food as well as indians food. They have a big menu including many items. Centrally located, Clean and a tad more upscale. Mixture of food including Bhutanese, Thai, pizza, pasta. An odd mix but it’s great because there’s something for everyone. However i found food is not that tasty as it looks. Next time I'll try other items.

It is a centrally located facility with nice view of the city crossroads! I liked their themed seating and art on each tables. I found some great and rare pieces of art and photos on their walls which kept me engrossed most of the time while I was waiting for my order to be served. Their meals are great. The ambience is so warm and peaceful. It is indeed a great place to be out with your family and friends! As it is located on busy a street, you may have to find parking space somewhere else and take a stroll. I would recommend this great place to everyone who are looking to explore some new place with great foods!

Our guide recommended some westernized restaurant around the corner but thankfully it was closed. We stumbled into FnB and were so happy to find it! The food was authentic, fresh, and tasty! Reasonably priced and gave us a real taste of Bhutan. Best dishes? A little bit of everything - expect a lot of cheese and hot spices!

Good food. If you ever visit I would recommend the meatball spaghetti and cosmopolitan. The people there are very friendly. The only drawback for me is the music. Felt like it was in a meditation centre.

Wonderful service. Wonderful food. FNB is one of the most consistently excellent food experiences in Thimphu. The Thai and Indian Food is great. Must visit.

Showed up intending to have Bhutanese but the waitress mentioned that they specialize in Thai so we went that route. Fantastic laarb, minced pork omelette, and spicy minced pork. Did not disappoint.

Good restaurants very well manage and so clean their services are good Lot of menu are also available as per your choice It’s near pnb bank on 3th floor If you wish to go alone or in group nothing to worry so enjoy the meals there

The perfect place for perfect food. Their Shakam Ezay is a must try over a glass of chilled beer. *shakam : dried beef *ezay: Bhutanese chili paste. The dish is a combination of dried beef chunks with chilies. Onions and tomatoes are added to taste.

One of the few places I eat in Thimphu. My regular stuff is gnocchi alla Romana. 🤩🤩🤩

Average food. If you don't like Bhutanese, you most likely won't like taste

My favorite go to place especially when one is craving for authentic Thai cuisine. Wonderful staff and even more wonderful memories made there because of the impeccable hospitality and comfortable atmosphere they restaurant has strived to make.
