Hotel is good, location is prime. I visited here on 10-Dec-2019. Everything is good about this hotel. One star less because they tried to put me into a twin bed room even when I clearly booked a doubled bed. But after argument, they provided double bed.

This this the first place I stayed during my trip to Bhutan. I was a little apprehensive about accommodations in Bhutan, but this hotel put me completely at ease. It's modern, comfortable, and spacious. I slept peacefully, even as the dogs barked in the night. My room overlooked the town square, so I got to get a glimpse of how life is in Thimpu. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both of which were excellent. My only complaint about the food would be that they serve you too much, and there's no way to finish it if you are eating alone. But I was glad that I never went hungry. Staff were ever so polite and attentive, and were happy to answer any questions I had. I also appreciate that the hotel aims to be environmentally friendly, and supports working mothers. I would happily stay here again. Facilities: 5/5 Amenities: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Staff: 5/5

My experience in Bhutan was amazing, one the main reasons being the excellent hospitality at Hotel Thimpu tower. The hotel manager makes every effort to make tourists like us, feel at home. She is very sweet. This hotel is centrally located, the view from this hotel is just incredible ! The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Delicious food ! Next time I visit Bhutan, I would love to stay in this hotel.

its good to see how the space has converted into a nice coffee space. right in the middle of town a quiet place to work and great menu . especially for a vegetarian like me. I would advise their seasonal fresh juice

Another nice hotel in Thimphu, but again due to the brilliant location, service quality is not a priority for the business. Not really equipped to accept 3D-secure credit cards. there is a good souvenir shop in a gourd floor with a good choice for tourists.

Location: 10/10. Right in the middle of the town, don’t think it can get any better. Rooms: 8/10 Very spacious (this is kind of a standard in Bhutan, most hotels have large rooms) Has large windows. Bed comfortable, shower comfy and works properly, hot water etc available. One little problem, given the room size, it becomes really difficult to heat it up and gets really cold at night despite small electric heater they provide Cleanness: 10/10 All good, as clean as it can get Service: 10/10 Really good, Bhutanese people in general are very courteous and helpful. If you tell them you are sick, they will prepare porridge for you :) Internet also provided and works fine.

Beautiful Hotel at prime location in Thimphu. Pros: Prime location, right in front of clock tower in Thimphu and center of the city. Many restaurants within 500 meters. 2 main bars/pubs within 500-600 mtr range (Viva city and Mojo Park). Room was very spaceous, neat and clean. Bathroom was clean and big. Cons: Not as such but they don't pick call after 9-9:30 pm at the reception or restaurant. We wanted water in the night but no one picked the call (Not sure why). So make sure to have everything before 9:00 pm :) Overall it was very nice and comfortable stay here.

Great location, neat and clean rooms but with super smelly bathrooms. The stench somehow just won't go. The parking can be a big challenge if you are driving your own car. The website mentions free parking but the front desk staff was clueless. In short, street parking for which you'll have to pay 150/night if you are lucky enough to get a parking spot. The food in the restaurant was decent. Wi-Fi was also good.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Tshering, the owner, runs a tight ship ensuring the staff provide the highest level of customer care. And it shows. The staff are courteous, knowledable and excellent - they accommodate your demands with a smile. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is also one of the few environmentally conscious hotels in Thimphu. Located in the heart of Thimphu, it is accessible to shops and restaurants. Would recommend this hotel if you want a place that is clean and reasonably priced. No other place compares.

This is a heritage building located at the main town square – Clock Tower Square in the heart of Thimphu – the capital of Bhutan. Hotel has 28 neat and lean rooms. Some rooms are view room , From the room you can see the bhuddha point of Thimphu . Check -in and check out was smooth. Rooms were not air -conditioned . In winter you do not need but in summer they provide table fan . They have own restaurant where we enjoyed some Bhutaneese dishes. Hotel is well maintained. Staffs are polite and well behaved . All front desk staffs are ladies. They speak in local Bhutaneese language / English . Some talk Hindi also . With souvenirs and handicrafts shopping center on the ground floor and nearby, restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance, experience the best of what Thimphu and Bhutan has to offer.

Had a wonderful time at Thimphu Tower and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thimphu. The location is perfect - the hotel is right in the middle of the city next to the historic square and clock. The room was very comfortable, has character, and the food was incredible. The hotel serves phenomenal breakfast and lunch and accommodates dietary restrictions. The front desk, cleaning, and dining staff were all very helpful and friendly. The proprietress was helpful and directed us to all sorts of places and sites around town that we might be interested in- everything from clothing to nightlife to hiking - she knows it all. It is very clear that running the hotel is a labor of love and she is around making sure everything runs perfectly.
