Amazing hotel, with a great location. The hotels facilities are top but what it makes it very special is the staff, from the managers, to our guide and driver as well as the butlers

This hotel has a beautiful view of the valley. If you can, try to stay more than 2 nights here. The subtropical climate is perfect for trekking and relaxing. However, I would recommend staying at the Aman right next to the COMO. They have a heated pool and a more modern design by Chris Kelly. I wish the COMO had a better breakfast offering.

Nestled amidst the serene and breathtaking landscapes of Bhutan, Como Uma Resort in Punakha is a true gem that offers an unforgettable experience. As a traveler seeking natural beauty, tranquility, and a touch of luxury, my stay at this resort was nothing short of remarkable. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the resort's stunning location. Set against the backdrop of lush green hills and overlooking the glistening waters of the Punakha River, Como Uma Resort effortlessly blends into its surroundings. The architecture of the resort is inspired by traditional Bhutanese design, with intricate woodwork and ornate details that add to its charm. The rooms at Como Uma are spacious and elegantly designed, offering panoramic views of the Punakha Valley. I stayed in one of their Deluxe Valley View rooms, and waking up to the sight of mist-covered mountains and the sound of the river flowing was a truly magical experience. The room's decor was a tasteful blend of modern comfort and Bhutanese aesthetics, making it a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights of my stay was the impeccable service provided by the resort staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and memorable. Whether it was arranging a guided hike through the nearby forests or assisting with dinner reservations, their attention to detail was commendable. Speaking of dining, Como Uma Resort offers a culinary experience that is second to none. The Bukhari restaurant, with its farm-to-table concept, serves delectable Bhutanese and international cuisine. I savored dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients while enjoying the serene views from the restaurant's terrace. The Uma Bar also deserves a special mention for its innovative cocktails and cozy ambiance. For those looking to rejuvenate their mind and body, Como Uma has a Como Shambhala Retreat. I indulged in their signature spa treatments, which combined ancient Bhutanese healing techniques with modern wellness practices. It was a soothing experience that left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Exploring the Punakha Valley was made easy with the resort's guided excursions. I took a leisurely walk to the nearby Punakha Dzong, an architectural masterpiece that sits at the confluence of two rivers. The resort also arranged a visit to the Chimi Lhakhang Temple, known for its unique fertility blessings – a cultural experience I won't forget. In addition to the excellent in-house amenities, Como Uma Resort is committed to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. Their efforts to minimize their environmental footprint and support local communities resonated with my values as a conscious traveler. In conclusion, my stay at Como Uma Resort in Punakha, Bhutan, was a truly beautiful and memorable experience. The stunning natural surroundings, luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and commitment to sustainability all combine to create a remarkable retreat in the heart of Bhutan. If you're seeking a place where you can immerse yourself in both nature and luxury, this resort should be at the top of your list. Como Uma Resort exceeded my expectations in every way, making it an idyllic destination for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Bhutan while enjoying world-class hospitality. Marvellous Bhutan

Like no other place on Earth, and an absolute highlight of Bhutan. Who would've thought a hotel would rate so highly on Bhutan experiences? The view from the rooms is the best in the country. The staff, ALL of the staff, so attentive and friendly. Special shout-out to Khun Tipsuda who made the stay so special. I felt like an absolute VIP from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. The food was excellent. But... those valley views...
