The
Children's
Park
in
Annamalai
Nagar,
Chidambaram
may
not
be
a
great
place
to
take
your
kids
for
a
day
out.
Though
there
are
a
variety
of
play
equipment
for
children
below
age
12,
many
of
the
play
equipment
is
in
need
of
repair.
There
are
plenty
of
benches
for
parents
to
relax
on
while
their
kids
play.
The
park
is
well-shaded
by
trees,
making
it
a
pleasant
place
to
visit
even
on
hot
days.
The
park
is
located
in
a
quiet
and
safe
neighborhood,
making
it
a
great
place
to
let
your
kids
run
around
and
play
freely.
It
is
also
close
to
Annamalai
University,
so
it
is
a
convenient
place
to
stop
for
a
break
if
you
are
visiting
the
campus.
As
the
maintenance
of
the
park
and
is
play
equipment
is
not
of
any
concern
to
the
authorities,
it
lacks
it's
charm
and
I
don't
think
other
than
the
residents
of
the
University
campus,
hardly
anybody
nearby
pays
a
visit
to
this
place
frequently.
A
very
sad
affair
of
an
otherwise
excellent
facilty.
