The reviews seemed to be hyped on Google. The room was neat no doubt, washroom was ok. The place is absolutely isolated there is nothing means nothing. To get out of the place you need an auto rickshaw or your own car . since parking becomes difficult if we take an auto we have to pay minimum Rs 80 rupees. That becomes 160 to and fro for once. Since there was no point in wasting money again and again we finished the Darshan at the temple then also had our dinner early after roaming about here and there and then returned to the room. Personally I feel the tariff of the place Rs. 1700 is far too much for the amenities. At least there should have been an electric kettle, some coffee and sugar sachet. But there was nothing of that sort. There were not even glasses. When we asked for water bottle we were provided just one bottle for two people. There is no intercom to ask for something. I do not know how people manage for a morning coffee but we were checking out so we went out and had. The staff was very courteous.

I stayed with my family in Chidambaram spiritual stay. Had a wonderful and peaceful experience. The rooms were good so do the bathrooms, they was ample space for car park. It’s a posh locality in Chidambaram , it’s a bit tough to find the place but when you find it it will be totally different experience and highly recommended for families. Will come back again surely. We stayed at this place 5 days back. We planned a visit to Chidambaram for visiting the temple. Being a small town, we found it difficult to get a good hotel nearby. Though we were apprehensive in the beginning, we are pretty happy with our experience at the Chidambaram Spiritual Stay after staying there for one night. The facility is basic but clean. Good water quality, hot water facility for bath, airconditioned room and a calm residential area, caretaker Mr. Shanmugam was present always for help. Auto can be arranged easily for temple visits and good vegetarian restaurants are also available. Highly recommended for a one or two-night stay.

My first visit to Chidambaram. I stayed at Chidambaram Spiritual Stay. Mr. Saravanan , the owner of the place was extremely hospitable. Extremely approachable, he helped us not only with accommodation but also with transport, sight seeing. booking for next destination and worth mentioning his knowledge about all the things. Stayed in Chidambaram Spiritual Stay. We had a good stay. My parents who are 70+ were very comfortable. The hospitality shown by the owner Mr.Saravanan was very good. He treats us like his own family. The location is very safe and rooms and bathroom were clean. I really enjoyed my stay which was a memorable stay. Thank you Mr.Saravanan for showing such hospitality. I would definitely recommend to the people coming to Chidambaram. Thank You.

I had a pleasant and homely stay. Mr. Sarvanan was very friendly and welcoming. He was very accommodating. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The property is very close to the Chidambaram temple. Though there is no restaurant service here, you have delicious restaurants within a 2 km radius.

Our experience here was very pleasant. There was closed car parking available. The staff were very polite and helpful. On the day we stayed, they even called us and checked on where we were since it was post 8 pm (we were having dinner at that time). The rate is reasonable, and the room is sufficient for staying, bathing since the purpose of our trip was to visit temples most of the time. The staff bought us whatever we needed (coffee / curd). The room and bathroom were very clean and all the sheets were new. There were three single beds (for three adults and a child), which was very comfortable and better than staying in a hotel where we get an extra bed but need to put it on the floor and sleep. The geyser and hand shower worked well and the air conditioner was also very effective. A cable TV is also provided.

Almost 1KM from the temple In a residential area We took 2 rooms. They kept towel in one room and other had no towels. They gave it next day. They gave only one soap when asked. Room was not clean and had dust There were coackroaches in one room Bathrooms were not cleaned for ages Rust started flowing from the water taps in bathrooms This is not a reasonable price for the facilities

I would like to share that the host Abhirami is a gem of a person. They were very polite when we were inquiring about the stay and shared all details. We paid an advance and reserved a room. Just before the day of travel, we had high fever and we were in no position to travel. We called to cancel our reservation (with no intention of asking the advance back). They immediately said that pls share your details for the refund. I don't know where one would find such kind hearted people. I couldn't visit Chidambaram this time but I am sure that any time or every time I visit, I will stay at chidambaram spiritual house for sure. Kudos to the hosts for their kindness and hospitality.

Too good rooms. Very clean and heigean. Great hospitality. Service with family touch. Location is walkable distance from temple. Just need more nevigation. Hard to find location when all Market is closed.

I had an amazing experience at Spiritual Stay! Owner Saravanan was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. One more good thing is they are not allowing Smoking, Alcohol and non-veg. I can't wait to visit again.

The place is good and has serene atmosphere. The staff and owners are good and courteous. They keep an eye on guests requirements and fulfill it. They have good contacts with auto for local transport as also with car services. The car driver cum owner Mr karthi who accompanied us was very helpful and proactively explaining the importance of various places that we visited. Wishing the entire team all the very best. All in all our stay in Chidambaram during 31st July to 2nd, 2023 was very made really memorable.

Lovely home stay with all the necessities you expect during travel - a good bed, nice bathroom & shower and a gracious host! Saravanan had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. This is a home stay in a calm location although if you are looking for close proximity to Natarajar temple, then this could be a bit far. Auto rickshaw fare is quite high in Chidambaram so visitors need to factor in this cost as well. Not much amenities and convenience for the kind of premium rental we pay particularly for a property in a very small town (apart from the cots and air conditioning which is very basic for an accommodation). Very good hospitality though by the Owner and caretakers that is worth mentioning.

We were searching for a good family stay in chidambaram and we got to know chidambaram spiritual home stay. It is located in residential area which is super safety for family. The host Mr. Saravanan here was very helpful. The room and the bathroom were so clean. They also have wifi all over the property. Family stay is highly recommended here.

Comfortable and a decent stay in Chidambaram. Very quiet and residential surrounding. Comfy beds, ac, drinking water, hot water if needed. Caretaker got coffee and food from Krishna Vilas, a must try. Saravanan, who is the owner of the property stay closerby. Very helpful, you can reach out to him for any help with planning your trip. Special mention on the caretaker, very polite and down to earth. Recommended, if you are looking for a home stay.

I recently stayed here during my wonderful visit to Chidambaram. This was a very nice home away from home place to stay. It was very clean good AC rooms, the staff were very respectful, helpful, and accommodating. And I overall had a good experience. I will stay here again during my next trip to India.

We stayed here for a night. The rooms were neat and clean with AC. This place is located in the residential area so it was calm and peaceful. Owner Mr Saravanan was able to arrange autos and cabs for us to visit temples and was very helpful during our entire stay with his suggestions of nearby good restaurants and temples timings which helped us to plan our visits accordingly. Mr Shanmugam was always available downstairs for coordinating with auto and cabs. Overall we had a pleasant and hassle free stay.

Best place for a family stay. Room was good with few basic amenities missing but Saravanan's hospitality and humbleness covered them up. A bit far from the temple but we get arranged with transport(an another help from Saravanan)also if you have gone through public commute. Peaceful and calm ambience, a perfect place to rest after a long day. Swiggy is active so as the name spiritual stay is definitely worth recommending. Thanks for all the help.

We stayed with family in chidambaram spiritual stay and the name was up to the same. No Alcohol, No Smoking and No Non veg allowed. They don't allow bachelors, spinsters or unmarried couples. Mr.Saravanan was very professional in arranging local trips to temples and other places, his recommendations were also very good .The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Thanks for support staff and is highly recommended for families and kids.

As the name suggests it was indeed a spiritual stay in Chidambaram. Away from the buzz of the city center, situated in a quiet neighborhood so that you can sleep peacefully without any noise and recuperate from the travel fatigue. Neat rooms, zero alcohol, zero tobacco policy. Mr.Saravanan is service oriented person. He really is focussed on helping the guests. For instance, he suggested my travel plans because I went to Vaitheeswaran Koil. He planned the trip so that I can have the best of both the worlds. I ended up seeing that temple and visited natraja temple in the late evening without too many crowd. He arranged for a reliable autorickshaw driver and bargained with him on my behalf. We stayed at chidambaram spiritual stay recently and despite being skeptical at the beginning, I must mention that it was one of the most pleasant experiences we had to say the least. Starting with the guidance by the owner to reach the place as it is slightly interior, to the clean rooms and washrooms everything was meticulously maintained. You can be assured of a peaceful night's sleep as the neighborhood is very quiet. Although the place is located slightly off from the main areas you can easily approach it . A special mention to the owner Mr. Saravannan, who made us feel at home and ensured that we had a memorable stay. Would hightly recommend this place to everyone who visits chidambaram

Mr. Saravanan and Caretaker were kind and very accommodating. Good place to stay for Family. Clean rooms with good facilities. Suggestions: Hot water / Hot water Kettle should have access for drinking, even if you have mineral water.

Stayed here for two nights. The service was wonderful. Everything was really good, clean, quiet and peace. Location is around 1km from the main market and Temple, but easily walkable OR else you can get auto easily within 5 mins. Thanks to Mr Satyanarayan for being such a charming host. The homestay was one of the best i have been to. The location is good rooms are neat and bathroom is clean and lots of parking. Mr. Saravanan was very professional and guided us on local places to eat and visit. Overall a nice and safe place to stay in Chidambaram for families.

We are senior citizens. We stayed at Chidambaram Spiritual Stay. It was very comfortable and Safe, it is located at a residential area very quiet and peaceful. Owner Mr.Saravanan was very polite and Helpful. He made all the arrangements for food , Auto and reacing Temple. And there manager was also very helpful. The room and toilet was very clean. Very Comfortable Stay in peaceful location away from Town.Pick up and Drop, and temple visit can be an added attraction and should be free off Cost with a cab service as more tourists may come.Good luck fir future development.
