I am very comfortable with Dr. Shanmugasundar's approach and treatment. He prescribes medicines that suit our lifestyle and not ask us to do impossible tasks. I have had great results with weight reduction and diabetes control. At a personal level, I was hospitalized for an unrelated illness and Dr. Shanmugasundar spoke to the treating doctor himself without me asking to understand if the treatment was going well. Would always be grateful for that. I will readily recommend him to my friends and family.

Had very very bad experience with clinic front desk staffs however Dr Shanmugasundar sir was quite good. We called in the morning to clinic to set an appointment which was fixed at 5 PM(received confirmation from Practo) and we reached clinic @ 4:15PM( thinking to complete early consultation). We handed over the patient slip to lady receptionist and she instructed us to wait. We were waiting till 5.30PM and there was no call from receptionist (though seating in front desk of reception) & they were busy gossiping. I went and asked agin to gentleman in reception desk and still he asked us to wait and said it is first come and first serve( I thought people may have come before me so I went and sat again) . Finally I saw only couple of people seating then again we went and asked about what process is followed to handle patients. when I told him that we are waiting from 4:15 and having an appointment then the gentleman allowed us to meet doctor and said he has missed us. We didn't have patience to wait as we had left 2 kids alone at home and the way they are handling was very unprofessional. The lady receptionist is least bothered about patient waiting there and no numbering and sequence. Doctors/MD- Requesting your intervention to make a pleasant patient visit to your clinic.thanks

First off the clinic is centrally located, with great bus, metro access. Second the clinic is so clean and with all the facilities that are expected from a decent medical facility. Third the Chief Doctor, Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram is highly professional, kind and a concerned medical expert, he takes time in understanding the patients' problems and provides clear and specific explanation. The number of patients who patiently wait to meet the doctor and utilize the facility are a witness by itself! Other facilities include excellent dietician, who gives simple but effective tips to reduce and maintain your healthy weight. In a nutshell, this facility is a boon to not only the neighborhood but, the patients whose neighborhood used to be close to it too, I am one such patient!

Previously I took treatment for diabetes in another hospital and had insulin. I had chest pain at that time and then I reached Dr. Shanmugasundar for a consultation. I went to Dr. Shanmugasundar of Magna, in Aus 2021, with a Fasting sugar value of 230 & HbA1c as 9.4%. I met with an accident and my leg and thigh muscles got worse , worried a lot for the mobility and consulted few other physiotherapists but was clueless and lost my confidence then finally met the physiotherapist named Ms. SWETHA at Magna clinic, She is phenomenal. She understood all my troubles which I was going through and started giving manual therapy for which my muscles were responded and started regaining towards normal condition. She is skilled, politely answers all of our questions and explains what needs to be done. She is doing magics with her fingers. Im back to normal with just 5 sittings with the help of Dr. Swetha’s therapy as well as instructions on exercises. Highly recommended, she can treat any worse case in a better manner I believe. We consulted Dr Shanmugasundaram. He was extremely systematic and scientific in approach. He did not rush through invasive procedures, rather dealt with the symptoms. We received excellent care. The staff were cordial and very supportive.
