Our
experience
was
not
as
pleasant
as
some
other
guests
describe.
We
have
been
there
on
a
nice,
warm
afternoon
in
late
fall.
We
sat
outside
in
the
little
garden,
next
to
a
large
sign
listing,
actually
describing
about
20
different
beer
kinds
this
place
offered.
I
assume
all
from
some
local
microbreweries
which
are
so
popular
in
Bialystok
right
now.
If
you
are
a
foreigner
you
won't
even
know
what
this
sign
is
describing:
unusual,
convoluted,
"wannabe-hip"
names
giving
no
clue
what
KINDS/tastes
those
brews
actually
are/have.
Not
sure
why
clean,
old
fashioned
beers
are
so
hard
to
find
nowadays,
why
all
have
been
killed
by
sometime/somehow
unusual
concoctions
made
CERTAINLY
of
little
hops,
malt
and
other
traditional
stuff,
but
with
generous
additions
of
exotic
roots,
berries,
spices
and
fruits
as
well...
Everything
but
the
kitchen
sink
actually!
But
that's
not
the
point.
Our
experience
was
of
another
kind:
I
was
not
hungry
so
just
to
assist
my
companion
I
ordered
an
appetizer,
he
ordered
a
burger,
we
have
chosen
two
different
beer
kinds
which
we
never
tasted
before.
After
1/2
hour
waiting
I
got
my
appetizer,
consisting
of
a
plate
of
store-bought
rice/shrimp
crisps,
slightly
warm
and
sprinkled
with
something
looking
like
paprika
powder.
They
have
been
crispy
though...
We
couldn't
drink
any
of
the
beers
due
to
a
penetrant
aftertaste
of
some
exotic
spices
or
grasses,
and
after
a
long
conversation
with
a
very
nice
waitress
we
ordered
yet
another
two
beers
from
that
elaborate
"list".
The
burger
came
after
we
asked
twice
about
its
whereabouts,
after
about
45-50
minutes.
The
roll
was
underbaked,
almost
anemic
looking,
the
bacon
was
limp
and
rubbery,
completely
undercooked,
and
the
burger
itself
tasteless
and
dry.
A
group
of
foreign
students
sitting
at
the
table
next
to
us
was
complaining
about
the
food
and
waiting
time
as
well.
Some
other
guests
sent
a
freshly-opened
bottle
of
red
wine
back
which,
I
must
say,
was
replaced
instantly.
So
we
asked
that
friendly
waitress
why
do
we
all
have
to
wait
such
a
long
time
for
our
food
and
the
answer
she
gave
us
was
astounding!
There
are
only
TWO
burners
in
the
kitchen
of
that
restaurants,
so
even
if
it
is
1/4
full
all
guests
will
have
to
wait
at
least
1/2
hour
to
45
minutes
for
ANY
hot
(or
even
warm)
dishes.
It
was
a
club/"disco"
before
and
it
served
only
snacks,
so
two
burners
have
been
fine
at
that
time.
Well...I
didn't
even
know
there
actually
ARE
two-burner
restaurants.
It
tells
me
furthermore
that
there
is
no
way
all
dishes
can
be
made
entirety
fresh,
on
the
spot,
just
because
there
is
not
enough
heat/space
to
make
them.
But
I
might
be
mistaken
and
I
truly
apologize
for
this
assumption
if
I
am.
So
from
that
day
we
kind-of
are
avoiding
this
place,
and
we
call
it
"The
Two
Burner
Joint"
.
We
will
be
back
when
more
burners
are
installed.

FRIES
in
ALL
pictures
of
other
reviews
look
like
store-bought
frozen
fries.
If
the
passion
of
the
chef
for
cooking
is
true
those
fries
should
be
real.
