So so amazing! The food was incredible 🎩. They’ve taken traditional polish food and remade it into something even better. The wine and the service made it impeccable. Highly recommend for any tourist visiting & a local (but I can’t speak for them)! Outstandingly five star *****

I was not sure how I can describe this place. It's OK and that's what the three stars represent. It is open for about a year now, I believe, and I passed by the menu-box displayed outside many times, until I decided to give it a try. It is a tiny place, with just few tables, and it is tastefully decorated with symbols of the different ethnicities and cultures this place as TYGIEL (melting pot) strive to represent. So far so good, although I have a little bell going off in my head every time I see yet another "symbol" of Jewish heritage displayed for commercial purposes, especially in Bialystok. But this place is fine, it was done quite tastefully and discretely. Not many of you know that Bialystok has a HUGE tradition of being such a melting pot of cultures, religions, traditions and, above all, food. So I had quite high expectations, too high I guess. What I was served, we were served actually, was not bad, but it was overthought altogether. It had absolutely nothing to do with local, home-made dishes. Just the names are familiar... Everything was "twisted", changed, "fancified", upgraded etc. Garnish, techniques, additions and sauces which have no relation to the ORIGINAL dish have been added. Convoluted concoctions of "decor", which killed the taste of the ACTUAL dish, spread throughout the giant plates those dishes are served on... Served with white gloved hands of the waitress mind you... LOL! WHY? Why all this pomp and circumstances??? This is the very center of Bialystok, beautiful, historic border Town, with maybe simple but delicious kitchen. It is not Waldorf Astoria or Saint Tropez. All this twisting and twitching, all those humongous plates which are long out of fashion, all the white gloves are completely uncalled for. "Back to the roots", simplicity is needed here. So again: the food is fine but don't expect to find there a REAL local stuff. Important to all game lovers: they have a variety of game dishes on the menu, and this area has ancient hunting tradition.

Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Service 5/5 Size 4/5 This place was pretty small, sitting about 4 or 5 tables made you feel a bit squished. However, the food was really good. They offer dishes from 4 different cultures that clashed with the city through its history. I really liked their food, it was served straight from the oven in a little pan which looked really neat.

Nice location and staff. Meals are overall different than what you usually find in restaurants which is a plus. I wasn't impressed by the dishes I've tasted but I'll probably give another try.
