I
have
stayed
for
11
days
in
the
hotel
and
here
are
my
observations,
let’s
first
start
with
good
stuff:
What
works:
Love
the
story
of
Tsar
build
barracks,
hotel
architecture,
interior
design,it’s
a
nicely
done
hotel,
overall.
Great
cleaning
crew,
hotel
is
very
well
maintained,
didn’t
even
have
to
remind
them
to
change
the
sheets,
they
changed
them
once
they
noticed
the
sheets
are
not
fresh.
Big
SHOUT
OUT
to
cleaning
crew,
good
job
team!
Nice
looking
restaurant,
good
food,
helpful
restaurant
staff
(especially
Tomasz),
knowledgable
and
attentive
but
not
overpowering.
Good
spa
area,
I
had
3
massages
there
and
used
all
facilities
there
as
well,
I
was
happy
with
it.
What
didn’t
work:
Easy
to
fix:
-there
should
be
two
garbage
cans
one
in
the
bathroom
and
one
larger
one
in
main
room
-there
should
be
box
of
tissue
in
the
room,
when
you
sneeze
you
got
to
grab
bathroom
tissue
Harder
to
fix:
I
was
looking
for
haircut
and
there
is
haircuttery
next
door
so
I
called
front
desk
thinking
that
4
star
hotel
would
know
nearby,
walking
distance
business
and
would
be
able
to
set
up
an
appointment,
the
answer
I
heard
back
from
front
desk
was
simply
“I
don’t
know,
I
really
don’t
know”.
I
was
FLOORED,
place
like
this
should
have
digital
database,
in
word
or
something
like
that,
with
next
door
businesses
in
it,
what
you
can
purchase
there,
or
what
kind
of
service
you
can
get,
business
operating
hours
and
local
phone
numbers.
The
conversation
I
was
expecting
to
hear
should
have
gone
something
like:
Yes
Mr
Kostecki,
there
is
very
basic
hair
salon
next
door
and
I
can
schedule
appointment
for
you
or,
I
can
also,
recommend
more
stylish
barber
shops
in
the
city
center,
which
one
would
you
prefer
?
-
well
that
didn’t
happen.
There
were
2
more
situations
I
could
bring
up
here,
but
I
will
focus
on
this
one
since
it’s
truly
inconceivable
to
me:
on
five
occasions
during
my
stay,
ALL
on
WEEKDAYS
AND
during
regular
business
hours
(day
time),
I
was
unable
to
reach
front
desk!!!
Out
of
5
instances,
2
times
they
called
back
to
be
fair
but
it
still
doesn’t
count
in
my
opinion,
5
times
I
called
and
called
and
no
one
picked
up!!!
I
even
tried
calling
on
my
cell
main
hotel
number
and
it
was
as
if
the
hotel
doesn’t
exist
!!!!
This
was
THE
BIGGEST
flaw
and
really
shocking,
in
my
opinion.
Not
present
front
desk
or
management
-
I
simply
don’t
understand,
managers
of
the
hotel
sit
right
next
to
front
desk,
and
why
wouldn’t
they
pick
up
(or
have
the
call
pushed
to
managment)
if
the
front
desk
staff
is
not
available?
Also,
2-3
stars
basic
hotels
like
Mariott”s,
Best
Western”s
of
the
world,
have
that
covered,
so
why
would
boutique
hotel
have
this
problem?
My
observation
is
that
there
is
something
wrong
with
front
desk
staff
and
managment
team.
Probably
both
need
to
be
replaced.
Hotel
has
been
operational
for
about
3
years
now
so
not
a
new
property
and
if
managers
don’t
know
they
have
the
above
problems,
they
are
NOT
doing
their
job!
If
managers
know
those
things
are
happening,
and
do
nothing
to
fix
it,
they
are
NOT
doing
their
job.
Conclusion:
EITHER
WAY
hotel
managment
team
is
NOT
doing
their
job!
Overall:
I
am
giving
3
stars
and
it’s
mainly
because
the
cleaning
crew
and
the
restaurant
staff
and
spa
‘saved’
the
hotel,
from
my
perspective.
Otherwise,
I
would
have
given
only
1-2
stars.
Front
desk
is
courteous
but
ineffective,
management
team
seems
to
be
not
hands
on.
Good
hotels
don’t
run
on
architecture
or
interior
design,
if
you
don’t
have
superb
staff,
and
supportive
managment
team,
you
are
just
2
star
hotel
at
best!
