Booked a table, visited the restaurant, got no service, children were hungry and asked why they took care only of people who arrived after us. When we were leaving, the server saw us leaving and chose to hide in the kitchen 😂 My family asked the question Why? I told them that there is no excuse for disrespecting the others. For anyone who wants to have a pleasant meal, avoid this restaurant that you don’t lose your precious time of vacation

Wow. My girlfriend and I got breakfast at Manatee after a local friend recommended it to us. Everything was so fresh, and the jams were all house made. Not sure if France normally has as good as coffee as it did here, but it was seriously top notch. When I inevitably visit Biarritz again, I will make sure I make another visit to Manatee. I don’t normally write reviews but knew I had to with this place.

Biarritz is woefully lacking in coffee bars like this - very modern, great interior space, good WiFi, the lot. I just wish the coffee was better, especially when the charge EUR 4 for a very small cappuccino, both that and the latte (5 Euros!) were little more than warmed up milk. But if you want to work etc seems like a great place for it in a good location with easy friendly staff.

Excellent place! Very well located in Biarritz, and the sunday brunch is very good! Friendly staff! Highly recommend it!

They didn’t have enough products to serve you the dish around 2pm on Sunday, because they didn’t expect so many people on high season for Sunday brunch … even did not offer coffee though they are a coffee shop and I assume have enough beans.

We came on 3rd August and the salad on the right is the special of the day, with tomatoes, ham, chilli sobert - very delicious! The salad on the left is the quinoa salad on the menu - it was wonderful. We will be back. Also the gaspacio and hummus were really good!

We went for the breakfast combo but since we were a little late we missed out. However, we did end up getting coffees and desserts. The financier was super moist and nutty, definitely worth a try. The cookie was a little too sweet but filling.

Cannot understand why this lovely restaurant isn’t packed every night. Our main course of hake with ginger carrot purée was the stand out meal of our visit to Biarritz. Exceptional cooking and beautiful presentation. If you appreciate good food with charming service in a tranquil setting, Manatee is a perfect alternative to the run of the mill tapas and traditional French bistro offerings in the market.

Great food, nice atmosphere and a cool terrasse. A little expensive, but nothing out of the ordinary given it’s a touristy area

This was my first time to Biarritz and I happen to come across this wonderful restaurant while exploring the town. Right away I was drawn to the fresh cozy decor plus it's called Manatee... I mean who doesn't love Manatees! Had a fresh squeezed orange juice and came back for lunch, which was tasty and healthy. They make everything from scratch so I think the healthy foodies out there can appreciate this restaurant. The owner even took the time to tell me about and write down a list of all the good surf spots and things to do in Biarritz. Manatee reminds me of my favorite spots to hang and eat in California. I'll definitely go back! Thanks for the great customer service. Neil
