I had the chance to stay at Nami House for two weeks and it was amazing! The house is beatiful with a cool surf vibe. The staff is also really nice always trying to make all the guests to get together to a nice dinner and/or a beach session. I Will definitely come back next year

Fanny and Clement, the owners, created a truly unique hostel here. A super cosy place to stay and indulge in a warm, homely and very relaxed atmosphere. Close to all the surf beaches, fun places, beautiful scenery and most of all: great people.

The Best Hostel I've Ever Experienced! I've been fortunate to have done a lot of travel over the past number of years and Nami House Anglet is the best Hostel I've ever stayed with. The hosts, Clement and Fanny were so kind, friendly and hospitable. They were most helpful with any favour asked of them as was Vinny. This was also felt throughout the hostel as it brought out the best in all the other guests for a wonderful atmosphere. I stayed with Nami House before four years ago and was delighted to come back again while staying in Biarritz. A massive thank you to all the staff and guests of Nami House for a most enjoyable and fun experience. I look forward to visiting again on my next return to South France.

I spent 8 weeks at Nami House, many would probably think this would be far too long a time to live in a hostel, but one thing I can say is: I had the absolute BEST time. I can say with good conscience that this is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. We had beach volleyball nights, Italian night, tapas contests, played pingpong, had lots of bbq's, cooked together, had french wine tasting with cheese, danced salsa, played guitar and sang... People went surfing together and/or attended yoga in the morning. So many things were organised by Clement and Fanny, bringing all the people in the hotel close together and creating an incredibly familiar atmosphere. I met amazing people and made friends all around the world. Even though people change all the time (when you are the only one staying for 2 months), Nami House feels like one big family. With the living room, the terrace and the garden, where you spend most of your time together, it feels more like a big flat share than a hostel. The whole stay was incredible enriching and and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to surf the west coast of France and still wants to feel «at home». So, a big big thank you to Fanny, Clement (and Max of course) for making Nami House so special, it really felt like a home to me. à bientôt! Leo

Four thumbs up for a stay at Nami House! Fanny, Clement and Maxime do a fantastic job of making everyone feel at home in this hostel. It's neat, has plenty of space to relax (or improve your balance board skills) and has a family atmosphere, so it's not hard to get to know the other guests. The hosts make the latter even easier by regularly organizing fun events in the evening to bring people together, such as picnics at the beach or a tapas night (however, in that case, caution with the dart board, once you start, you may not leave it so quickly anymore ;) ). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back another time, ...so be prepared for some Swiss bread! Thanks again, Debi & Miri

I went to the Nami House for my first solo trip and first stay in a hostel, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience! The hosts, Clément and Fanny were really nice and immediately made me feel welcomed and at home. They suggested some good hikes, places to visit and activities. The rooms were really nice, the beds comfy and everyone was respectful and calm at night. The hostel had a family vibe and it was easy to get to know a lot of people in the shared spaces, such as the kitchen or the living room. The hosts organised activities like volleyball at the beach, barbecue night, tapas night in the city, which was really nice to spend time with many other travellers. Special thanks to Alice for bringing a good mood and laughter with everyone ;) I’ll definitely come back!

Listen. I have been to dozens of hostels at this point around the world. Clement and Fanny are some of the most passionate and kind owners I have met! They are full of incredible tips, ideas, and generosity and constantly host events in the hostel and around Anglet. I got to participate in a tapas night and volleyball game :) You can't go wrong staying here! Merci mille-fois Clément et Fanny!

Be sure to give Nami House a 5-star review, otherwise anything below 5-stars is treated as a 1-star review by the manager, Clement. I wrote a decent 3/5 review for the hostel on TripAdvisor and the owner ended up attacking my personal character and making false assertions about me. (I have screenshots) I could’ve given a much worse review considering the staff gave me a towel with stains on them. In this day and age, the social media brainrot is so bad that anything below a 5-star review is taken as the worst review ever. Nami House isn’t a bad hostel, but it’s also not a 5-star luxury hotel on the Atlantic coast. And if Clement, the manager, had even a sliver of maturity to accept a 3/5 stars, I wouldn’t even be writing this. Best thing he could’ve just said: “Thank you for your comments, we’ll take them into consideration.” Or not respond at all. Considering Clement referred to how I was “on my laptop writing reviews” (I was on a tablet drawing) and how I had my “hands in pocket” during a tapas night, it shows he was monitoring me and watching me, which is creepy. So yeah… the manager is gonna monitor you as you’re being quiet and doing your own thing. I had a relatively positive view of the hostel. But because of Clement’s immaturity and inability to take even the slightest bit of feedback, avoid this hostel.

Clement and Fanny are the most welcoming and loving hosts. They do care about everyone's well-being and make sure the good vibes's the identity in the hostel. Environment is quite cozy and decoration is a plus as you can feel they bring memories from their own travels. Fanny is the sweetest: she patiently give me french lessons every time we spoke! Highly recommend it :)

Amazing hostel! One of the best I've stayed in during my travels. Fanny and Clement have created a space where you connect easily with everyone and at the same time you get every service you need as a guest. Really nice variety on the surfboards which was much appreciated. Extra plus for the possibility to rent a bike with racks (event though I used a car) :) Will come back!

Truly the best hostel I've ever experienced! I stayed at Nami House during 5d for 3 things : 1. Work remotely as a freelancer 2. Surf 3. Make some friends And I did all of the above :) 1. The internet connection was great. Not the best on Earth but plenty enough for my web development activities and visio calls. I had a calm environment throughout the day to be productive. 2. The surf-&-bike package was a wonder. For a little extra every day, I could just grab a bike, a surf rack and a surf board and crash on the beach 5 minutes later to start a surfing session. 3. Every single person staying at Nami House was absolutely charming, probably because of the friendly atmosphere set by Fanny and Clément, the owners. They made sure to organize a variety of little events throughout the week to build up cohesion between residents (molky, salsa lessons, ping-pong tournament, ...). I made new friends in a lot of different countries during my stay 🙃 Good to know : - Everything is clean, from bed sheets to restrooms. - Everything is really convenient (included breakfast, kitchen, surf boards, bikes, ...). - Every one is 23/24 on average, which is the true spirit of a hostel imo. - I felt very secure during my stay, and believe me, it wasn't always the case in the previous hostels I visited. PS : Look at the picture, I'm the red shirt having a wonderful time!

Surfing everyday, making new friends from all aorund the world, having a great time: If I could summarize my experience at Nami house in few words, those would have been the words I would've chosen. This hostel is great, clean, well organized, the owners are a very lovely couple that make you feel more than welcome at the place, and if you are staying for one week or longer, you can bet they'll become your friends! As for the area, the hostel is located in Anglet, about 10-15 minutes by bicycle from Biarritz. Anglet is a French paradise for surfers, with lot of options of beaches and waves for all levels of surfing. My trip was around mid-October and there was still very nice weather with some sunny days, around 20 degrees celsius. I chose Nami house based on the reviews, price, location and their special offers in terms of surfing package, as you can include in the accomodation price the surfboard and bicycle rent, so for me traveling without the need of dispatching my surfboard was convenient. In terms of people sharing the rooms and the stay with you in the hostel, it was also super nice, I had a great time getting to know a lot of new people, new stories and backgrounds, and definitely making new friends around the world that one day I will visit again. The owners of the hostel organized barbecues, beach volley games and fun nights at bars, so eveyone can get to know each other, have fun and enjoy a good time. As for the boards, they have options for all levels, from longboards for beginners to shortboards for more experienced surfers. Me myself used a 6'0 minilong that was super easy to paddle in the waves and also able to drop in steeper ones around over-head size. I would definitely come back to Nami Hostel to enjoy the world class waves, the french culture and due to being sure of staying in a nice, safe, clean and lovely place. Whether you are a surfer or just a traveler, you wont regret staying here.

Great stay! I spent a week there to surf. Beaches are easily reachable by bike. Moreover Nami house combines everything to make guests bund together. It felt like a big shared house. Thank you!

Best Hostel I've stayed at so far: I got there and it felt like home straight away. With only 15 beds and a lot of common space, it feels more like a big shared flat with like-minded travelers, remote-workers and surfers. Breakfast is included, you can rent bikes and surfboards and you can sign up for yoga classes right at Nami House. The hostel is very clean and has really nice athmossphere. Definetly a place to come back to.

Nami House feels like a home to everyone who steps a feet there. The owners are super welcoming and the fact that the breakfast is included gathers everyone around the table, which makes it super easy to hang with the other travelers! Would really recommend staying here if this is the vibe you are looking for, specially as a solo traveler!
