After hearing a lot of buzz about the place I planned a visit to the place. Before getting into reviewing the food and other details I would say that "All that Glitters is NOT Gold and All those Vociferously Promoted are NOT DESERVING". To be precise this place is OverHyped. It's good but not amazing. Few people get fame easily this place is one of that kind. If you are by coincidence nearby tye place you may give a try but traveling to the place specifically for having the kachouri is NOT recommended. Thr most annoying part is the service and customer management. As per nearby enquiries this place gets good number of customers daily despite that there are no proper means to address them in a respectful way. It seems that people are paying to purchase something exotic. Generosity and humility is completely missing on the part of the seller. The kachouri are made of refine oil for which people are quite aware regarding the effects on the health. The way it is served is unique in a way and I appreciate the same as it helps to maintain green environment as it's completely biodegradable. I had the opportunity to compare the kachouri from another counter nearby. The only difference is less crowd and the curry has a bit more gravy. Rest all like texture and taste are same. So if you r facing huge rush here you may opt for the other shop. The other shop is just at right side of the entrance of the road. This is an unbiased review to guide people not to get carried away but the social media hype of the place and food. There are may more excellent placed to enjoy good breakfast. So do try different placed and post your genuine review. Thank you. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Most overrated and one of the hyped places located in Burrabazar area. Went there to have their kachoris... As I heard a lot about their club kachoris. The shop is located within a narrow lane. You can follow Google Map to reach there but pause a little early, as the map leads to a different direction. The service is too slow, as only one person is serving you the kachoris. You can also pack and take kachoris home from here. The area is not hygienic as there is no proper sitting arrangement. Small tools are given on the opposite side of the shop and alongside. You can have your food either by sitting or standing there but your eating may be disrupted by vehicles passing by! They also have their bhujia bhandar beside their shop. The kachoris cost โ‚น40 per plate consisting of 4 kachoris, sabji and bhaji. They serve you in saal pata, which I felt is very unique. Now coming to the taste, the kachoris were very oily and distasteful and the sabji was so spicy. They added so much bhaji that the taste of the sabji could'nt be enjoyed. I didn't like it at all. Totally not recommended to anyone!

If you're planning to come here, then let me warn you that if your tummy gets upset by sniffing those spices this place is not for you, if you can't handle oil or you don't like street foods or anything that has heavy amount of cooking oil in it it's not for you, but if you can ignore all of it then you're welcome to taste their best club kachoris. This place achieved a vast amount of popularity so sometimes you can face too much crowd here because sat&sundays are the peak timings. They have similar opening&closing timings like others but the ideal timing to come here would be 8-9am. Now the main part was their kachori, YES their kachori has too much oil in it, and i have to admit that the place was really not in good condition but trust me you'll forget everything after you taste their kachoris. In that area their kachori really has a unique taste like no others. Their hygiene didn't seem promising but their kachori lasts so long that you won't get sick if you have leftovers. And you shouldn't judge by their appearance bcz their kachoris seems small and unhealthy but 4 kachoris are enough to drive your tummy till evening, and you won't get sick at all. Their pricing are bit too much bcz per piece cost 10rs. So if you want to have some club kachoris just give them a try you won't regret but don't make it regular, one in a week is enough for your health.

Located near to Kalakar Street.Fomous for their Club Kachori With Mota besan Bhujia.Club kachori is a popular Morning breakfast in Kolkata area specially in burrabazar you will get Club Kachori from so many shops from different price range to different tastes.Club kachori made with a crispy and flaky outer layer is a perfect tea-time snack or can be enjoyed as a breakfast dish. The kachoris are deep-fried until golden brown .Into the dough of these kachoris, goes coarsely urad dal paste, suji, little chilli and ginger paste and some hing which gives it its characteristic taste. These kachoris as deep fried and are served with a spicy potato curry. Chagani Serve their kachori in Sal patta which gives a pure Desi feeling of eating in patta. You will have to wait usually 15 to 20 Mins to get your club Kachori.Peopld Queue here for getting the same. During Sunday and Holiday the wait time will also get to be increased with higher demands. Here You will get Club Kachori for Rs.40 for 4 pieces. This shop is present near the road, first you have to make a bill for the items you want then they will give you. You have to wait a little because many people come to eat the kachori. The kachori is really tasty with sabji. Per plate - Rs 30 ( contains 4 kachori with bhujia & sabji) Must try the jalebi per piece for 10 rupees. Other sweets are also available you can also try that. I dropped by Chhangani Bhujia Bhandar at Burrabazar, Kolkata, after hearing all the buzz. The shop, tucked away in a narrow lane, presents quite a challenge for four-wheelers. Now, let's talk about the food. Truth be told, it didn't live up to the hype. The club kachori with aloo sabji, although a local favorite, is easily found in numerous breakfast spots across Kolkata and Marwari sweet stores. Nothing unique, really. Personally, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip here for the food. There are plenty of other delightful breakfast joints in the city worth exploring. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿšซ

You can have amazing authentic club Kachori from this place. Apart from club Kachori they offers jalebi (that's yummy too) ,bengali sweets , chai and variety of nasta from here. The price is very Nominal and affordable. But for club Kachori you have to arrive early morning because due to high demands the Kachori finishes soon .

Most bogus and overhyped eatery at Burrabazar. Went there to try the club kachori for breakfast. The kachoris were tasteless and the sabji served were even more distasteful. Cost of four kachoris with Sabji was Rs.40/-. The area and shop was extremely filthy and dirty. No hygiene is maintained. Please don't try. Just overrated by youtubers and food bloggers.

This outlet is famous for Club Kachori and aloo sabji. I was hardly impressed as my home cooked food is much better than this. People who can't cook good food at their homes may fancy eating here.

We went to the place after hearing a lot of buzz and viral videos on instagram. Firstly the place is in a very narrow lane and to reach the place is a bit difficult. When I visited the owner was showing good behavior, they was a lot of people waiting for it, but we got it after a waiting time of around 5 minutes. Comming to the taste, it was good but over-hyped . You can get same kachori elsewhere also the aloo sabji is little spicy and good. One plate will cost you Rs. 40, and the jalebi for Rs 10. Jalebi was also average in taste.

Unhygienic to the core with a big manhole drain running right beside where the food containers are placed. I would request food bloggers to stop promoting (paid, we all know) this place as it a man made disaster with a mass food poisoning waiting to happen someday. Food wise, the curry is salted enough to give you a high blood pressure even in a single serving. Trust me, even your local roadside vendor serves better and more hygienic. Only thing is they don't have funds for social marketing to the unethical food blogs like this place or Nandini and all. Only in Kolkata where the hospitalization rate is high because of people's food habits can a place like this prosper. Any other city, an eatery like this would have been kicked off in a month, blog or no blog.

The club kachori hype is not fake here. It's really delicious and worth coming from far away. Though the parking space is not spacious/organized as the shop is located in a lane. They start serving at 8-8:30 a.m. and close at 11:00a.m.

Excellent stuff... Not 5 star because odd Kachaurie is full of frying medium. Taste not available anywhere else in Kolkata. Unique. Rs.9 per club Kachaurie... Gives abundant amount of sabji... Crazy long line during Sunday mornings... Closes by 10:30 - 11 am max. Never go in Sundays... Only weekdays. Heavy and filling.

Chhangani club kachori is buzz nowdays. We tried their club kachori and jalebi, but frankly speaking it was just ok ok. I heard a lot that it has a different taste but it was just ok. I don't found such waaao factor in ther club kachori. The jalebi was good, moreover it cost 40โ‚น for 4 club kachori which is a bit expensive to normal club kachori.

One of the best club kachori to have when you're in Kolkata.. it is so filling and you'll crave for more. The best part of the food is the spices and the sabji that is made, a home old tradition from generation to generation they've kept the masalas same and making that keeps people alive and come regularly to eat. Must try and visit when in Kolkata.

This place located on Kalakar street is a tad difficult to spot but it's so famous that ask anyone on the street and they will direct you to the man. Located in a tiny space, it serves the best club kachoris with 2.5 laddle of sabji and bhujia on top. It's super spicy but you can balance it out with the tastiest yet thinnest jalebis, which melt in the mouth. We visited the area on a weekday around 8 am and the place was already buzzing with visitors. They have some stools on the opposite side so that customers can sit and eat. I didn't feel very comfortable eating in such an environment. However, I took it back to my car and savored the breakfast in comfort. They also pack the food in case you want to take it home to eat.

The location has huge traffic flow and it's very difficult to stand and eat the food. The quality of food is also not good. 9/10 times you'll see people throwing away the curry(sabji) served with Club kachoris. The quality and taste of food could be lot better with better arrangements to serve the customers.

This is a old shop of borobazar area. It got hyped recently for few youtubers positive and negative review fight. I personally don't like the kachodi mix item anywhere in this area. So will not comment on this. But yes bhujia , samosa and other snacks seemed to me good and quite reasonable priced. Behaviour is fine. They should work on hygiene and cleanliness.

It's morning at 7 AM and the crowd is like anything. The waiting period is 1 hr at least. The location is very unhygienic. Kachori is good in taste however its too oily. The main attraction I find is the way of communication of the owner. Overall - Overhyped.

This place has garnered quite a name for itself with the recent hike in youtube traffic. The kachori is decent enough, not outworldly and not something one wouldn't get anywhere else though. The sabzi is really tasty. Now deep fried kachoris are supposed to be oily and this one is no exception. I didn't like the texture of the bhujia on the sabzi, but that is a personal preference. The sabzi was tasty enough by itself. Now the club kachoris themselves were a bit of a disappointment as they use a whole lot of soda and I don't like the taste of it. Jalebis were decent as well. Service is very quick

This store is often hyped up, but in my opinion, it's overrated. While the taste is good, I've noticed that when they run out of their famous kachoris, they sometimes try to sell less crispy ones. Furthermore, I've noticed that they tend to give priority to customers they already know. In my opinion, it's worth checking out other nearby options like the local or Tiwaris. Both offer better value in terms of price and quality, and have more consistent service.

It is overhyped bcoz of vloggers. I felt there was less salt and no flavour in food, shopkeeper is though humble and treats everyone in a good way. A lot of street food in kolkata tastes much better. However itโ€™s my opinion and everyone has different tastebuds.

Small shop but great in taste. Definitely not for hygiene lovers. The sabji is spicy and comes with a large serving of bhujia which is uncommon. 4 club kachoris are enough for a person with a decent appetite. The price is reasonable. Parking can be an issue and on weekends, be prepared to wait for a good time.

Situated in the narrow lanes of Burrabazaar... This shop serves Aloo sabji with bhujia topping & kachoris The Aloo sabji with bhujia topping is tasty, though a bit spicy... Spicy lovers would relish it... But the kachori is pretty much dripping with oil when served... Have eaten way better Kachoris in different joints.... They serve in saal patta it may look unique but extremely uncomfortable when it comes to the eating part .. In short highly overrated....

Overhyped, foods are actually too oily and okay to visit this place once in a lifetime. 100times Better Kachori, Luchi joints available for breakfast.
