Went into store the other day to be greeted by a very rude colleague called heather who was on her phone and not interested in what anyone had to say. To then eventually go on and say i have lost my booking with the groom room. well dont worry ill never shop at pets at home again, ill make sure i go local grooms from now on.

My niece took her dog to be groomed today. Very negligent dog had to be rushed to the vet half groomed as they had cut her badly. Would not recommend.

Took my 7mth old Cocker spaniel Lucas (Show type) here for his first groom, he went in looking like a scruffy mutt and came out looking like a million dollars, fantastic smily friendly staff, made Lucas feel safe as he was nervous, he came out happy and excited. Prices are very reasonable and affordable and we will definitely be coming back for round two when the time comes. Thank you 😊

Friendly staff, who show a real interest in their customers. My dog does not get stressed at all. He has been there for a puppy groom and his first groom. I went to ask if my dog needed his nails clipped and if he needed to be groomed, they suggested I wait a couple more weeks, which gave me confidence that they are not just interested in gaining money.

"Very Expensive"!!! It's "OK" of course, it's a typical big chain, but not a great reputation locally, (primarily because, most of the bathing, grooming etc... is carried out by inexperienced students, who are just overseen and the work sometimes finished by one, or maybe two, qualified, experienced staff, for which you pay alot of money)

The groomer who did a good job of my big long haired dog left this branch. He has been returned to me with more tats than he went with since she left because he was bathed before being brushed. I had paid a £5 deposit for his next groom but had to cancel as we went into lockdown. This £5 has disappeared off their system I am told. The groomer on duty at the time wasn't terribly helpful. Speaking with the manager I was told I should check my bank statements and bring it in to them. So the onus is on me to prove that I paid for something I did not receive. Pretty rubbish customer care.

Absolutley delighted with the Groom Room always give exceptional service. Woyld highly recommend it

My poor dog was hacked at, he came out looking like a rat and very expensive. Only went because my normal Groomers has closed down. Never again!

A bit crazy on tank sizes, way over the top! Telling me I can't buy a black moore because my tank isn't big enough. The tank is plenty big enough for 2 fish. I suppose they expect you to buy another tank.

Took our two cairn terriers one is boisterous one is timid Rebecca less and leah looked after them excellently Rebecca was the groomer to say we're pleased is an understatement have used the groom room before will certainly go again

They did a great Jon of trimming the nails of our two greyhounds.

I booked my 20kg dog in as a medium for a full groom for £47. When I arrived I was told that he was considered “large” so the price was £59. On every metric on dog food, dog treatments, at the vet’s, my dog is considered medium sized. The assistant pointed at a poodle on his table and said that small dog was a medium in their categorisation. This is simply ridiculous and strikes me as something of a scam to hike prices. I was then told that since my dog had a thick winter coat, there would be an extra £10 to comb it out (not matted or anything, just full). What the heck is the £59 for if it isn’t for grooming the dog’s coat? Absolutely ludicrous. I refuse to pay £70 for a dog groom - it’s more than I pay my own hairdresser!! I got my deposit refunded and left. The prices are simply idiotic.
