Located on the station road this place is one of the oldest and popular sweet shops in bikaner. Specially famous for it's Poori sabji and lassi. I personally have tried 15+ shops in order to find the authentic lassi and this place tops the chart, they serve lassi in a big steel glass with fresh cream on top and it's a must try if you are going there. Also it is famous for it's sweets and rasmalai that they serve is chilled and one of the best i have ever tasted. Tip:This place don't accept UPI or Cards they take only cash and that's a major drawback but still a must try place just make sure to take cash with you. VERDICT: A must try place. If you find this helpful give it an upvote so other's can be helped as well, Thanks.

Their daal kachori is really good! It's so full of stuffing and loved the masala too in it. One of the best daal kachori I had. Their paneer kofta was also decent. It had slightly sweetish flavor. But all their chutney was quite sweet. And their prices are higher than most places in Bikaner. Most of the items were not available when we reached in the evening.

Delightful and delicious breakfast done at dinner time. Dana Methi (Fenugreek seeds) Sabzi is unique and the Aloo sabzi is fantastic too.. kulfi after dinner, I was a bonus.. Speaking of sweets and namkeen, the bhujiya I bought was fresh, crisp & perfect.. Jalebis are surely one of the best in Rajasthan, and Moti Pak is a favourite from here.. do visit if you are in Bikaner and you won’t be disappointed with the quality and flavours

Chotu Motu Joshi is a very famous and old shop in Bikaner since my childhood days. Sweet Quality is very good and are made of desi ghee. Shop and Hotel both are situated on Station road Bikaner, Famous sweets are Rasgulla Bhujia, Crispy Jalebi, Motichur laddu, Patta burfi, Maysur paak, Motipak and Dilkhushaall, . and Balushahi, RasMalai , Deep fried Kachori ate the main and special sweet dishes But rates of sweets are higher side.Bhujia is not so testful as prices charged. If you wish to have traditional testier food you should choose to restaurant where you find deshi ghee puri with simpler potatoes curry and one glass of Lassi fullfilled your apatite

They have a bakery outlet as well as restaurant style dining. Different varieties of sweets are available. Locally famous shop. Their sweets tasted good. Didn't like the taste of kachori (personal opinion). Service and quality are good. For sweets prices are at an affordable range.

Most overrated and very expensive place. Their waiters are very arrogant and don't even know basic etiquettes to behave with a customer. Place is not very clean. It's more of a Halwai ki dukaan. We were a group of 11 people and went there just because we had heard alot about their Puri Aloo. The taste of puri aloo was quite normal. I can cook better puri aloo then them. Aloo ki sabji was too oily. One poori costs 14 rupees and wasn't worth it. Kachori was very good in taste but they don't serve mint chutney with it. Shop is located just outside the Railway station (Platform number 1 side)

Amazing taste I would say rasgulla is the specialty of the this place and it’s still taste same even after many years there taste in rasgulla has not changed since I started to eat it the prices are also not too high that’s make a different and other item like puri and sbji is also delicious the puri is so soft it melt in your mouth right after you place on your tongue woww If u going through Bikaner then you had to stop here and had breakfast or whatever you called it I can feel only one problem in the restaurant that the seating arrangements they can improve their seating arrangements I had seen that two people taken the seat of eight because there is no table is empty for the two The improves a bit on that one Else it’s pleasure going there and had a plate of rasgulla and puri and aloo sbji And lassi also sorry the cream lassi That will definitely make your day

Upon tasting the food here, I found myself perplexed by the hype surrounding this establishment. There was nothing particularly remarkable or unique that couldn't be found at the neighboring sweet shop. Even the Methi Ki Sabzi, which might not be commonly available, failed to impress with its preparation. The sweets were subpar, leading me to advise against considering them. Overall, this place is easily passable and doesn't live up to the expectations.

Chotu Motu Joshi is a Landmark in itself situated near Bikaner Railway Station known for it's delicacies like Poori Sabzi, Rasgulla and Jalebi. I tried their Poori with Aloo Sabzi which was really good. Their Jalebis are just to die for I mean I can't have that crispy and juicy Jalebi in Delhi as well. Their Kachori was just average. They are famous for Their Rasgulla also they make 2 types of Rasgulla one is spongy and one is a little bit harder but full of sweetness. Try this age old legendary shop at least once when your in Bikaner.

Nice, reasonably priced shop. Its located very close to railway station. Can be easily spotted, finding a parking could be tough during day time. Must try mirchi pakoda and kachori. Aloo sabzi and puri is also good. Rabri and lassi is also very good. Rasgulla and raj bhog were good but not special. Do try chotu motu when in bikaner.

A great place to gorge on hot and fresh jalebis! We sadly came here after breakfast so couldn't eat much. We tried the jalebis and kachori. Both were quiet excellent. The place was brimming with local people which is always an indicator of good food :-)

The food is simple but value for money. They serve it hot and fresh. I had poori sabji it tasted good. They do not overcharge like other restaurants which keep there price twice as high

Visited Nov 2023. Had Dana-Methi subzi & Ghee Puri, Lassi and Spongy Rasgulla. All were pretty good. Spongy Rasgulla is supposed to be less sugary than the regular. If you order puris you get four puris - I had to specify I wanted only two. I guess this is a review of the attached restaurant rather than the mithai shop ;-) Rates are very reasonable. See attached pics.

Budget place. Simple. Unpretentious. Very fast service. Old style. No frills. Good traditional recipes. Desi ghee prepration. Served piping hot. Doesn't cost a fortune. Value for money. Authentic food. Good for single or family visit . Paid Rs 88 for two poori and aloo sabzi.

This is the best place to have yummy kachori in bikaner, Sponge Rasgulla is mind blowing and Puri and aalo bhaji is taste worthy.

Great experience, this is a popular, low key place to get typical bikaneri namkeen - we loved our breakfast here with outstanding kachori, subzi and Puri. also had samosa which was decent standard.

After lots of searching while on the way to Jaisalmer we found this restaurant online and explored it. Pros: food was good (not excellent) budget friendly. Cons: uses lots lots of chilies in shabji and other food preparations. Lots of sugar in tea. A very simple sitting arrangement (Dhaba type) with no extraordinary features and facilities. Not so clean and not hygienic. No toilets facilities inside.

Bikaner oldest and well known shop for sweet and Namkeen. Joshi ji has maintained their test and trust till now. People over this shop are really well trained and their mechanism is really amazing 👏 😍 👌 Alongside the shop they are running a food restaurant which has delicious regional cuisine.

Ordered Lassi, puri sabji and samosa Quantity of Lassi was good. Price of puri sabji was high and a bit too oily.

Good eating joint for snacks (kachori, samosa & mirchi bada). Shop is also conveniently located on main road near station

  • 5/5 Chandra Kumar P. 1 year ago on Google
The best place to get quality food obviously with a higher price tag but their aloo puri is awesome and a lifesaver for many tourists for getting GHAR KA KHANA wali feeling..... #Must_Try: Kesar Kulfi, Kachori, JALEBI, Lassi, Dahi Etcccc.... ❣️

It is famous for its Nasta breakfast, sweets and Namkeen. But price little higher side. Many alternatives are there in lesser price range even with same or better quality. But if you are in Bikaner chotu Motu Joshi is must try for one time.
