Again, I see a huge commercial potential but the museum space is underused. The product development is close to zero. There are some products lying in dust. Promptly the sign says "no photography" where an artist is painting and producing some very low grade artworks which no one would like to buy. The museum is something you can easily let go. For fashion students it can offer some visual information.

It's basically a part of Junagarh Fort. It opens at 9 AM , 1 hour earlier than the actual fort. This museum depicts the rich cultural heritage of the rulers of Bikaner, their customs, dresses, meeting halls, paintings, portraits, crockeries and many more. Do take a guide who will take 500 rupees for the whole museum plus fort tour. Approximately you need 30 min to explore all the things. A small cafe is there where you can get some cold drinks like stuffs.

Jaisalmer War memorial is worth visiting if you are a fan of memorials. We spent around 3 hours here and is a great depiction of India and its brave heroes who have fought to protect us and give us the safe space of staying here. The quotes, pictures, stories can leave your teary if you feel the essence of it. Its on way to Jaisalmer and reasonable ticketing and pricing facility. The audio and video show was also good.

Prachina Museum is located inside Junagadh Fort of Bikaner. The place is a historical marvel. The beauty of the architecture will sure leave mesmerized. The place tells the story of kings and the kingdom of Bikaner. This fort cum palace is now turned into a museum to showcase the life of previous kings who ruled here. It also displays the beauty of old architecture, which is astounding. The artwork on walls and roof is just magnificent. There is ample space to park your car and tickets can be taken at the entry gate which isn't very costly. If you are visiting Bikaner, you wouldn't want to miss this place.

Prachina Bikaner Cultural Centre and Museum is a collection of royal and heritage objects from the house of Bikaner. It has everything preserved of the royal family like costumes, furniture, paintings, crockery and much more. If you are going to Junagarh Fort do visit this beautiful museum. It takes around 30-40 min to explore this place. The entry ticket is very nominal for Indian Tourist.

Prachina Museum is the cultural center of Bikaner. Nestled within the quiet corner of Junagarh Fort, the museum was established by Siddhi Kumari, the daughter of the Late Maharaja Narendra Singhji of Bikaner in 2000. It exhibits royal costumes, textile, portraits of former rulers, contemporary art, religious accessories, etc. Also on display are European wine glasses, cut glass decorative objects, cutlery and crockery used in the regal kitchen. Perfumes and other interesting things that were an integral part of the Royal household are there to enchant you as you explore sections of the museum. A number of beautifully crafted rugs and carpets give the visitors a chance to experience the artistic richness of India. Khamma Ghani 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Prachina Museum within Junagarh Fort in Bikaner offers a glimpse into the rich history with a collection of ancient arts and artifacts once used by kings and queens. The architectural beauty of the fort is mesmerizing, showcasing the kingdom's story. However, the museum seems to have untapped commercial potential. While it houses intriguing items, the underused space and lack of product development are noticeable. Some neglected products gather dust, contrasting with the prohibition on photography. Despite these shortcomings, the museum is a valuable stop for history enthusiasts and fashion students seeking visual insights into royal life. The affordable entry fee makes it a reasonable addition to a visit to Bikaner.

Vintage items are at display, but without narration. More or less it's like an exhibition of collection of items for public display. Vintage items are on display with no history history/significance narrated with it. Not even the name of an article

A separate Ticket is required for visit this place inside Junagarh Fort. Well In This pandemic time, Fort is open to visit. Souvenir Shop inside fort is closed in pandemic time All Fast food centre / Restaurant also closed inside Fort in pandemic time. You can see only presentation things full inside the building full of two floors. no need any guide here. Must have water bottle. A small little museum next to Junagarh Fort which houses beautiful things. We saw a sword with intricate detailing in wood carving, hand fans, household things, crockery, vase, paintings, mirror all preserved carefully from the olden era. One would also see costumes of worn on structures as well as preserved in glasses.

The Junagrh fort is nearer to approx 1KM from Bikaner Railway Station and just behind the Old bus stand. Besides the fort there is a museum. Here you will find the crockeries, sarees, suites, statues, etc. The entry fees for the fort is 50rs and for museum 30rs, and if we want to take the videos than we have to pay 150rs extra. They offers a guide once the group of 30-40 peoples are gathered. There are main 35 sites and the guide explains each and every site just we need to show the interest. The Fort is very big and all the historical things they have maintained very well. The best thing I have seen in Bikaner.
