Shri Laxminath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort, Goddess Laxmi. It was constructed by Maharaja Rao Lunakaran, between 1504 and 1526 CE. Later the temple was developed by Maharaja Ganga Singh with more elaborate art work inside the temple and highlighting architectural skills. The temple was constructed as a seat of Laxminathji as the rulers of Bikaner territory regarded Lord Laxminath as the King of Bikaner and themselves as his ministers, The temple is made of marble and red stone. Particularly for this temple the red stone was imported from Jaisalmer. The silver artwork on the doorway is extremely beautiful and is noteworthy. The throne of Lord Laxminath is situated in the temple which also possesses an idol of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu in a State of Embrace. This particular idol measures about one and a half feet in height and is based on a square-shaped stone platform. The shrines of Shri Suryanarayanji, Shri Neelkanth Mahadev, Shri Roopchaturbujji, Shri Badrinarayanji, Shri Magavidyaji, etc. are also present in the temple grounds. Shri Laxminath Temple of Bikaner is the centre of several religious festivals. The temple is thronged by thousands of devotees during the festivals like Ramnavami, Geeta Jayanti, Diwali, and Nirjala Ekadashi to seek blessings of the revered idols. Khamma Ghani 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Shri Laxminath is one of the oldest temples of Bikaner. It graces the sacred sanctum of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Other then the beautiful idol, this temple is embellished with exquisite art-work in silver. Festivals like Janmashtami, Nirjala Ekadashi, Ramnavami, Diwali and Geeta Jayanti are majorly celebrated at the temple and one must not miss visiting the temple during these festivals.

One of the most spiritual places of Bikaner. Must visit during aarti . It also has parks for badminton , dedicated open gym , park for walking , famous for its fountain in the entire city. Overall the best place (shared with bhandasar ji) to visit in the entire old city . Also , a nice park for visiting in the old city area. The bhajans , the environment and the devotion of people gives you , spiritual vibe , यहा आ जाओ यदी बीकानेर मे धार्मिक स्थल ढूंढ रहे हो । the place is good and safe , it contains 5 parks and 3 temples premises : the main temple premises (including Nagar seth (the main temple to visit during aarti hours) , surya dev , tulsi mata , badrinath ji , neelkanth mahadev , Santoshi mata , karni mata and Roop chaturbhuj ji ) , The Ganesh Temple premise (including a seperate ground) and the jain temple premises in the park , along with Santoshi mata temple in the middle of the parks . It also has enough space for parking . Drinking water facility available . Selfie point is also available. Has a no. Of temples in it , in short the spirits heart of city .

Jai Shree Lakshminath Ji. Wonderful devotional place, positive ambience and soothing. Chanting of Krishna bhajan, feeding pigeons in the afternoon and grace of worshipping the Nagar Seth with all other Hindu God will relax us. A place to visit everyday if you live in Bikaner and a must visit when you travel to Bikaner.

Bikaner Shri Laxminath is one of the oldest temples of Bikaner. One can say its almost as old as this city. Around 500 year old. It is also called the deity of this city, hence Nagar seth. The continuous Bhajan chanting by the devotees give the vibe of famous Vaishnav temple like one in Srirangam.
