This place would have scored a 4 star if not for it's dining experience. Please read on. This hotel has two sections. I stayed in the newly built one. Spacious rooms. New fittings. Hot water supply was a problem which was attended to. There was a power outage with zero power backup one morning (I stayed for 3 nights), which meant my equipment wasn't charged. Comfortable beds. Quiet even though there is a railway station almost right next to it. Literally walk from the station to this hotel. Ample parking and a tiny garden inside the hotel. Family run with great aesthetics. So now let me come to the restaurant. Not worth paying for the breakfast options. This place is not best suited for individual travelers or small groups. We saw large tourist groups (10-12 folks). This place has the hangover of a colonial era, with preference for non-Indian tourists. And a huge indifference for Indian travellers. Would recommend for family travel. But please don't expect anything in terms of a warm Indian hospitality (though one of their attendants, support staff is a welcome exception). And a very fast wifi.

Absolutely amazing property. Heritage structure being operated by the owner family. Very neat, clean rooms and lawns around. They have a small kitchen and prepare some amazing breakfast. If you can bear a little noise of train sirens in the night, you would love to stay here. The location is just outside the new railway station..

Jaswant Bhawan is an absolute delight in every aspect - location, hospitality, food and cleanliness! Situated right in front of the Bikaner railway station, this place is an extremely convenient for travellers. The property along with the people who take care of it are very warm and always welcomes you with open arms Plus point if you are a dog lover, because of Oscar and Dollar, two very well behaved son and father duo. If I visit Bikaner again, Jaswant Bhawan will definetly be my choice of stay.

We made a last minute booking in this hotel and the owner was very kind to accomodate us and host us kindly. The staff is very kind and helpful with everything that you need. Their restaurant (Gulab Bagh) serves delicious food with a very good quality and quantity. The breakfast has a wide variety to choose from. The hotel itself is located very close to the train station. The interiors of the hotel and a layout are maintained in an antique palace style, which made our stay a very unique experience. The room was spacious and had all the necessities, the bathroom was quite big and there is a geyser for hot water supply. They have some of the cleanest bedsheets and linens we have seen so far in India. We stayed in the room no:8 which is located on the roof top and we could sit in the evening on the benches outside the room.

Hotel Jaswant Bhawan in Bikaner, Placed next to railway station is run by family which houses about 17 odd rooms, of which 4 seems to be in old structure and rest are in adjusant extention. We stayed in room no 2 , which seems very small under renovation as two of bed side hangings were not installed wires were hanging instade. TV channels not working upon complaint with front desk the answer was given that the service is disrupted from cable guy.( Front desk lad did not even sent anyone to check as if it's ok the guest does not get what is on offer ) AC connection was off when enquired he said Thandi hai ? Why one need when it's so cold outside. He totally was ammused when I said I can keep the temperature at 25 celcius which is better than out side 14 to 16 degrees. ( Then he started the supply). Bathroom is big has glass partition & a cupboard & wash basin. What's our take, Room Neatly maintained but request to avoid 1 to 4 room nos as the courtyard which it overlooks is not as neat as the other courtyard in extended area. ( by pictures you will notice ). In Room Facilities: Coffee /Tea Maker, Bathroom: They Provide Hand Towel & Bath Towels, with 1 Sope Service : No room service , expect for Tea / Coffee Wifi : worst Concern by management: Very Poor & least concerned. Parking on site : can park about 6 to 7 cars and few two wheelers. Cleanliness: Reasonably Good Will I recommend: Ofcourse Noooooooot. And if someone wants to book avoid the old courtyard side.( It's my personal opinion). check with Similarly priced hotels in Bikaner. Hope management pay heed to improving on service & work towards guests comfort. All the best Preetam.

One of the best places for a comfortable stay in Bikaner. On our trip to Jaisalmer, me and my husband decided to stay over in Bikaner. This cozy place to our surprise treated us so well that on our way back to Delhi ,we choose to stay at Hotel Jaswant Bhawan again without a second thought!! The food, the ambience, the hospitality is unmatchable. It is Pocket friendly as well! I would highly recommend this place to all.

This was such a homely heritage hotel, run by the kindest family! We were made to feel like we were family, they also have the cutest pug dogs. The room was spacious and very clean, bathroom was spotless and the shower is huge. Loved our stay here, only wish it had been longer! Thank you ❀️

I had a great experience! A lovely aunty greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our rooms. Very clean, colloquial and homey feel. The food too was simple and tasty. It’s really close to the train station as well. All around πŸ’―

This original 1930s building has been retained by the family of the state minister who built it and recreated as a period hotel for all guests to enjoy the art deco features and mementos of a bygone age. Five minutes from the railway station and fifteen from town, the location couldn't be better. Service is excellent and requests from us for extra blankets and a portable fire were met imidiately. Meals are cooked to order, and served fresh and hot. Our train was delayed so we sat in the delightful garden in the sunshine and drank tea to pass the time. If you consider a camel ride part of the entertainment of Bikaner, then Camel man run tours with collection from the hotel. We opted for the 3pm till evening time ride as it left the morning to visit the rat temple on the bus. It's a proper camel ride, two hours away from town in a circle catch the sunset and back to the car. Brilliant!

Good budget place to stay in Bikaner, with a great location, right next to the railway station. The property is spread out with beautiful gardens and courtyards. Where they lack is not having proper amenities for the rooms.

1.First of all, it is jst 200 mtrs from the railway station u don't have to think much after leaving the railway station. 2. friendly staff there is too affectionate and co-operative. 3.Ambience is very good there, its home like feeling almost. 4. Every night seems to be a gala night. Bonfire, music, drinks. 5.last but not the lesat and my fav., FOOD's quality is completely like your home's kitchen. They use fresh veggies and ample amount of spices which fits best your taste. ( 2 friendly Dark black pugs playing around just adds one more star to the ratings ;-) ) I would like to thank the hotels staff for their services.

A very friendly hotel, very close to the railway station, we did not hear excessive train noise at night. A lovely cooked breakfast, and the evening food was good too. Bedroom well furnished and comfortable, if rather cold. We asked for a heater which was immediately provided. A beautifully kept property with nice garden and courtyard areas for warmer weather.

Very rude hospitality. We came for a wedding in town so we had some guests coming to meet up. The family managing the hotel literally frowned upon and stared at every guest. Not that we were playing loud music or doing anything to disturb other guests. Plus they have this stupid rule that u can't hv anything in the room. On telling them about their rude behaviour the lady started arguing and implying that we were at fault
